I booked another location and it was changed. I ordered pads/blankets and they were out of stocks. The other inside of the truck (rear) was filthy. There was soil all over, like it was used for landscaping. I was not pleased to need to sweep it and then put my mattresses on a dirty floor.

The 20-foot U-Haul truck I rented looked quite old and worn. Upgrading these trucks to newer, better-maintained models would improve the overall customer experience and increase customer satisfaction. A cleaner, more modern fleet would make customers feel more confident and comfortable during their rental..
Bharat kThey didn’t have the truck that I reserved, so I had to get a smaller truck which meant more back and forth trips and more miles. They didn’t have the padded blankets that I reserved. The truck still had the previous users empty water bottles in it. I got it with barely any gas, it said 35 miles until empty and they told me if I fill up a quarter tank they would refund me $25. It costs more than $25 to fill up a quarter tank.
Alaa BI was never contacted to confirm my pick-up location or rental equipment. When I got to my pick-up destination, I was informed U-Haul had moved me to another location. When I finally got to the newly assigned location, there was not an appliance dolly in the truck for which I already paid. AND, they did not allot for enough miles for me to go to my storage unit and then the apartment into which my son was moving. So, they tried to charge me an overage fee, which I declined to pay. I also had to demand a refund for the appliance dolly that was never provided.
Michael MThe a/c in the truck didn’t work and it was 96 degrees outside. The truck had trash in the door compartments and the truck didn’t sound good. Glad we only had a short trip to move something. When returning the truck, informed of no a/c and the employee just said - ok I will let them know. That’s it. He did not apologize or anything. I will not go back to this location.
