The sales person at this location was rude and not knowledgeable. Collecting the vehicle should have taken maximum 5 mins since I reserved online but my dad and I spent over 15 mins while she worked out the kinks of processing the payment. The vehicle was also not parked at this location. It was parked at the Indian Bazaar supermarket across the road on Kennedy Road. This inconvenient.LIZA I.

My appointment was for 10 Am but I got the truck at 12 noon. I paid for full time and returned it even quicker after use. I was unable to complete my moving as I was as to start my job at 3 PM. That what I booked it for 6hours but unable to complete my work. Not satisfied at all. And I will never think of using the service again as it's wastage of time and money both. ThanksSUKHCHAIN G.

Very disappointed with the service. Uhaul was bad in condition. It didn't starts till half an hour after loading stuff in it. When I reached my new place I face same problem after unloading the truck. It wastes my 2 hours. I hired a driver for that he also charged me extra for getting late due to this. On the other hand, the guy on the pickup location of uhaul was very rude to me this morning. He told me to drop off the truck at 9pm yesterday and returns back the key at 9am today. He called me in the morning at 8:30 am at very rude to me on the call. When my friend visit the store to return the key, the lady over there was very rude to him. It's my first time that I booked this, may be it was last now. It's really a bad experience for me. I am very very disappointed.Amandeep W.

My movers (booked through uhaul site) were over an hour late... which in turn made my return late. My return time was 1pm. The Hasty Market owner/employee called me at 12:50pm demanding that I have no choice but to bring the truck back by 1pm. He was extremely aggressive and rude to the point I had to hang up on him. I apologized to him and told him it is out of my control and what did he want me to do? Bring back the truck with my belongings in it... he said Yes. I was such in a rush and overwhelmed to get the truck back to him that I didn't gas it up so then I got charged so much more for gas.MEGAN M.

I had a dispute over my invoice. I was yelled at by the owner of Hasty Market No customer service skills at all. I was correct about my mileage that I used. Store owner was wrong! Rented truck at Hasty Market located at 27 Ruth Ave Unit 2, Brampton, ON. Drove the truck for exactly 9.1 Kms but was charged for 39 miles.RAJWANTK D.

I had reserved a 10' truck for 7am pick up. It was even written in my contract that I have printed out for my copy. I drove to the pick up site and accessed my account. I went on to the dashboard and selected " PICK UP MY TRUCK" as requested on the email I received. Only to find out that Hasty Mart was not advised about my early pick up. I had to wait 2 hours for them to open to get the key to the truck. During my wait I called Uhaul just to get passed around from the scheduling department to the truck rental department. Everyone just passed the buck. No one wanted to help me with my situation. I feel that this was very unprofessional and will never use Uhaul ever again. I will broadcast this terrible dilemma I've experienced to everyone I know that needs a rental.Denny M.

The customer service of this location is the worst i ever had. The owner was extremely rude and talked with disrespect. She also did not provide the dolly and argued with me even after i showed her proof. After 5 minutes of argument she provided me with dolly. Getting the truck was the hard part from her. Even though i had done everything online already. The truck was not well maintained and did not drive straight even when i was holding the steering straight.anwar H.

The cost of gas refuel is so expensive. We did refuel the truck before we returned it and made sure it is in the expected level of gas but uhaul still charge me for the gas expense.Ilona S.

Horrible attitude on the part of the staff, disrespectful, rude, aggressive, wrong in more ways than one. I will never have anything to do with that location. I was literally called idiot for a mishap of their own, I have not seen such lack of professionalism and curtesy towards paying long term clients, I always rent U-Haul for my moving needs and will continue to do so but will not step into that location for the rest of my life. I have rented with Uhaul for the past 30 years and this was my first bad experience. I did not like being mislead about what I rented. and faced a bait and switch when I arrived. Truck was old , larger and did not drive well . brakes were worn and unsafe. Fuel tank was marked half on paperwork when I signed out and when I entred truck the gauge was less than half. When I returned truck putting back gas exactly how I received it , I was still charged a fuel charge . This is dishonest and fraud.Sandra S.

Both service representative at pick up and drop off was very courteous. Although I like the use of new technology to prove ID, mileage and gas level, at the same time feel uneasy about uploading my driver's license. Overall, the whole process was quick and easy and reliable. A representative from Hasty Market also called me few days before to confirm my reservation. Very professional.Linda Y.

Pick up/Drop off time was excruciating long. Customer service guy would constantly stop helping me to help other customers. Awful customer service. Equipment was filthy. Cargo bay was full of dried up mud and dirt (pretty sure it was fertilizer, it smelled awful). Front had water everywhere, in the door handle, on the floor. I've rented from U-Haul numerous times. I had booked uhaul online and went to this location (hasty market) to pick up the truck yesterday. It took the person there 45 minutes to hand me the keys. He asked me for 2 references to fill out the form online. When I asked why he told me that I can leave if I don't cooperate. He was very rude and super unprofessional. I can't imagine Uhaul making such establishments their vendors/agents. I was moving yesterday to a new place and couldn't afford not getting the truck so I had to arrange for the 2nd reference in order to get the truck. Overall it turned out to be a horrific experience just because of rude & terrible customer service at Hasty Market. Hope uhaul looks into this and takes proper action so that other customers don't have such an experience.Nitin J.
