First of all, there’s no signs. The guy was nice enough inside, but never did a pre-inspection gave me a without any dollies or blankets or any opera such and gave me a truck that was basically on empty. When I went and filled it up and took a screenshot of the 29 gallons. I filled up. I was still charged gas even though I returned the truck with more gas and I was provided and then U-Haul customer service is still trying to charge me $83 for gas when I returned the truck with more gas it was provided. I’ve escalated this to some guy named Jeremy who said because the initial guy didn’t do the inspection. It was my fault somehow that we didn’t have evidence at the truck was on empty. This is bogus and you only need to investigate.

My experience with U-Haul was very positive. The rental pick up location (S Smoke) was very clean, professional and the staff treated me well. I would do business with S Smoke again and would highly recommend it to anyone needing a rental.

This was not my original preferred pick up point. This rating is for the location in Tuscaloosa, on Skyland Boulevard. When I arrived, they did not have my preferred equipment, and I had to drive an hour away to get what I needed. They were not helpful. They had a trailer that I’ve could’ve used, but they refuse to let me take it out of town. Terrible experience in Tuscaloosa.

The U-Haul I received. Which was the only one they had. I would have been embarrassed to hand over the keys to that nasty disgusting smelling vehicle that I received.
