This location needs additional signage indicating where to return the trucks. There were no other trucks there when I returned and I only knew to put it in the rear gravel lot because I've seen the trucks parked there before. Wouldn't have been clear otherwise.Timothy C.

The people at this location acted like they didn't even know how to receive the vehicle. One of them who was in charge of helping me mainly used hand motions to get me to do things as English was not his first language. In the end he mumbled something along the lines of â€œemailâ€œ as if that's how I was going to receive some sort of final bill. Again terrible customer service and terrible experience.Nicholas E.

Customer Service at this location is non existent. They dont seem to care about their rental service. This location is lacking experienced personnel in regards to Uhaul rentals as it's based out of a gas station and there's a strong language barrier with the onsite team. The staff did not speak English and clearly did not know what they were doing. Check in took 35 minutes and I made a reservation online to expedite the process. I left with the truck in awe and really couldn't believe I didn't walk out. No customer service at all. Fortunately I have rented uhauls before and am familiar with vehicles and practices. I will never use them again.Matthew K.
This location is certainly convenient for people living in St. Michaels, MD. However, the customer service at this location is poor. Management has placed the operation of the U-Haul business at location (which is a gas station/convenience store) with a convenience store clerk, and it is not going well. When I arrived to pick up my truck on 1/25/2020, there were significant delays stemming from: 1) failure to check-in the trucks from the previous day; 2) poor training on the software used to check-in/out customers (i.e. the clerk didn't really know how to use the check-in software). Because there was only one person on staff, the clerk asked me to go out and assess the vehicle for damage and record the mileage and fuel level. (Shouldn't this have been done when it was turned in on the previous day?) The truck also wasn't clean, with sand, gravel, and sawdust in the back of the truck. Add in some language issues, and it took perhaps 35-40 minutes to pick up my vehicle. If you don't mind travelling another 10 miles, my recommendation is to us the U-Haul on Ocean Gateway in Easton, MD instead. They have a dedicated, properly-trailed staff at this location.Eric F.

Guy barley spoke English. At pickup took him over 30 minutes for a simple check of truck. Upon return he would not even give me a final receipt said I would have to come back because he didn't know how to check the truck in. This is one of the worst pickup checkin Uhaul locations I have ever dealt with. The Uhaul instructions were in Arabic even though I'm American. Never again at this location. He also kept waiting on customers pumping gas ignoring getting me in or out.James M.
I would only recommend if the person lives in ST Michaels and it's convenient (which was for us in our travels). Unfortunately, we were at the station for 1 hour; there were issues navigaging the system, confirming our reservation, and then unfortunately the SafeGuard insurance plan got checked and it took a long time to figure out how to delete this off the order. We unfortunately had to start from scratch. The blankets were left outside and so they were damp and had leaves on them, etc (should be left either in truck or in a covered area).Cabell H.

It took over an hour to pick up the vehicle. The man did not know how to use the technology to log onto the computer, and I was completely frustrated. I wanted to take over and do it myself. Additionally, he continued to delete my information and had to start over. It was incredibly frustrating.Dana W.
The location is a gas station. The attendant couldn't deal with UHaul returns. He needed the manager, who was eating lunch in the back. It gave the impression that they didn't know what they were doing.James M K.
