We were chraged an additional $1.69 for mileage overage. We requested to pick up in West Bend WI. We had to pick up in Allenton WI causing us to drive another 10 miles out of our way and resulting in an overage charge of $1.69. Nice scamLarry C.

There wasn't much advertising that it was a Uhaul drop off and when we asked the cashier he didn't seem to be that understanding so we were nervous we did something wrong. We also couldn't find the lock box because it was on the side of the building. We did give the keys to the cashier though.Brandon S.

The guy told us it was all online and couldn't help us. The check out process was time consuming and should have been sent before we got to check out. These remote places have little wifi and it was a pain. If I can help it I will never use uhaul again.Jeffrey S.
The clerk at the pick up location, a gas station, kept putting me off to the side to ring up other customers who were behind me in line. The clerk then modified my contract to attempt to make me purchase the trip insurance that I did not select when making my reservation online. The clerk then started to argue with me telling me that â€œI was wrongâ€ and that â€œI had selected the insuranceâ€ when I had not. He was rude, unprofessional and demeaning.PATRICK S.

Was not given a paper contract and was charged for something call Safe Move that I never signed up for. Call to have it removed and was hung up on. Fine - I'll contest the entire charge!Robert W.
Truck was completely frozen and covered with about 3 inches of ice and snow. Truck had cigarette butts as well as garbage and empty soda cans in cab and back. When we finally were able to get back door up, we had to sweep it out as it was covered in mud. I do have pictures.Stephanie P.
My only comment is that the 24/7 drop off said to leave the key in the drop box by the front door. There was no drop box. Yes, It was very easy to walk inside and the person behind the counter was very helpful, but having to walk inside and wait in line defeats the purpose of the convenience of the 24/7 concept.John N.

The store manager is very very rude and non-cooperative. Wasted 1.5 hrs for reservation. Even after giving him photo of gas level as 3/4 tank & miles on vehicle as 34315.7mi & dropoff location of clear lake IA, he gave a wrong reservation which showed gas level as full tank, miles on vehicle as 37861.0mi & dropoff location of mason city IA, which created mess and time waste at dropoff point as actual miles at dropoff was only 34699.9 which was less that indicated in contract 25816190.. It was a horrible experience. The person working did not know how to do anything to help us. He had to call someone and had us his phone. There were very few covid precautions being taken. The furniture pads were not present. It took forever and was horrible.Peter V.
When picking up my equipment the agent did not do anything beyond check my online check-in before handing me the keys. When I asked to do a walkaround of both pieces of equipment, the agent said he does not do that. In addition, the agent did not actually check the equipment out in Uhaul's online system and so I received no less than 3 separate calls from Uhaul the following morning asking why I hadn't picked up my Uhaul. The agent was rude and short with me. This experience has made me seriously questions whether or not I'd use Uhaul again at any point.Thomas K.

USUCK can actually make sure the initial location you give them for early pickup is going to stay that way. And if it can't, then USUCK can actually make sure the secondary location has it. USUCK shouldn't send the customer 35 minutes out of the way and have them find a truck with 3/4 tank of gas and ZERO additional items that were ordered. Then USUCK should at least reimburse that customer for the wasted gas, time, and mileage placed on their own vehicle.Seth H.
The location I had originally reserved a truck at informed me that my reservation had been moved to a town 35 minutes away. Nobody informed me of this. Last thing I wanted to do was drive an hour plus when I need to move my life. The clerk had no idea I had an online reservation. He was unable to do anything on his end to get me set up. I sat on hold for 15 minutes before even getting to talk to somebody because that phone process wasn't working. Overall unhappy with the acquisition process this time around.Cody R.
