Speed up the process. My appointment was 7 am and I left location 830 am. My reservation was not done properly. All the information and preparation I did in advance, I had to do again the time of rental. My estimated cost was 150.00 dollars. I paid 197.87. Plus 40.00 fuel. For a 5 hour rental. I felt that it was not worth the total. However, the vehicle drove and the ride was good. The check out process was relatively simple.Christopher L.

I'd recommend someone other than UHaul. The vehicles needed are never available when needed, mileage is overpriced, and you don't credit when there needs to be a credit.Casey M.

I was suppose to pick my truck up at cave city Arkansas at 830 am and when I got to cave city to pick it up I was notified that the truck was not there I had to drive 30 miles to ashflat Arkansas. Then wen I got there they wanted a 100.00 more then what I locked the price in on the phone. So i was very disappointed in the service. I was also supposed to get 40 extra miles because I had to drive so much farther to pick up my truck and then had to drive even further to get the auto transport.Cain C.

The girl, at S & S, it was her 1st day. Their internet system was down & it was obvious after numerous attempts the system wasn't going to come back up. I repeatedly told her to call Uhaul, however was ignored. After realizing she wasn't going to call, I go to my car to get my phone, as I was going to call myself. I had 2 missed calls from Uhaul because I had not pick up my reserved rental. I returned the call, explained what was going on. Your Rep called S & S, talked with them & I was handed the phone, downloaded what I was told, made a pic of my driver's license & all was completed. The area Uhaul rep/mgr was called by S & S, however, was making a delivery, & was of no assistance. The owner came in while the young lady was attempting to get their internet system back up. She told him what was going on & we both explained she had already tried on numerous occasions to do what he told her to try. He told her to try again. Another situation was had I been there at 8 am to pick up my rental unit, there would have been no one there to assist in the connection. It was 9 when I arrived & the owner arrived shortly after. It was 9:45 when I finally got to leave. There was no one there ahead of me. I was running late already & this was very frustrating because their internet system was down & they didn't know what to do. Had I not called the toll free # I'm not sure exactly how much longer this would have taken. Oh, I did call S & S to let them know I was running late & was on my way. Please let your Rental facilities know to call your toll free # if they have a problem. I will rent from S &S again, if I should have the need, but only because I have no other options at this time.sherry W.

It would be better to have a truck that doesn't have a hole with a patchwork repair in the roof and rusty screws holding it together. My belonging were drenched and ruined when I arrive to my destination 300 miles away through the pouring rain. It's disappointing when you rent a moving truck to keep your belonging safe from the elements but it's inefficient. The defect was noted after I was able to obtain the keys from the lock box. The truck was otherwise clean and ran well. The customer service to accommodate our pick up time was outstanding.Andrea R.

Was told she could not do anything because the computer would not let her into file.so still need a 40 mile credit, was carged 100 miles more than I drove, and charged me for 3 days too many. I feel that I should have been told, the location was not going to be open. My original location for pick up had been changed, that message, I got. Customer service, informed me a truck had been left open for me and said they would add miles, for my inconvenience of driving 70 miles away from my move. At the end of my journey, I paid for going over my miles, not happy with U-Haul and it wasn't the location's faultSuzanne C.
The location did a great job despite the uhaul website being down. I am very unhappy about scheduling problems with uhaul. I was told a location 30 miles away from my home then that was changed a few hours later to a location even farther away. I was told when I made the reservation that a truck would be available not more than 15 miles away. When I called about the problem the person at uhaul who answered the phone was also having difficulties with your computer system. I will not use uhaul again unless you can fix your problems. Again the pick-up location was not responsible for the problems.Nancy P.
I had two placed I had to pick up the truck I had reserved and the appliance hand trucks. The system was down and no one at either place could give me a copy of the rental transaction. I was then notified of another pickup for a different truck at another location. I did not even contact this location since I had already picked up a truck at S&S Mini-storage. Then I had to go to Snead Tires to pick up the appliance hand-trucks and again system was down. Get your information and process together so you can give your customers the correct trucks and equipment that they order. Maybe you need to go back to paperwork and not rely on computers.Debra B.

Maybe not charge for incidental items like ropes. As long as they come back with the truck the ropes to tie down items should just be available. I bought 400 feet of rope for our little move and now, I have 400 feet of rope that will sit in my building until 2020 when my other daughter moves to school. I understand about things like hand trucks and padded blankets, but the ropes were just a small thing that would have saved me a step. The folks at S&S were fantastic and treated us great. I was also registered to return my equipment to Oneonta, AL but when attempting to return it I found out that the location no longer exists. I was redirected to Cleveland, AL to drop off the equipment. The lady at the Cleveland location was very helpful and is to be commended. However, it is very poor business on your part to not have everything up front with the customer.ROBERT L.

I was very displeased with ythis location in Cleveland, AL. There was absolutely no one available to assist me with disconnecting the auto transporter. I am physically disabled. When this information was conveyed to the lady that was at the office she informed me it was my responsibility to disconnect the auto hauler. I found this location to be very unsatisfactory. There was no customer service what so ever and the lady that checked me in did not even inspect the trailer for damage. I found her to be rude and confrontational. Unless you are extremely knowledgeable on how to use U Haul equipment, I would not recommend this location in Cleveland, AL to anyone. Renters beware!EARL S.
