The tow dolly driver side light had one screw so it was popping out and not staying in the passenger side light worked for brakes and turn signals but the light wouldn't stay on at night

The attendant showed up 15 minutes late. There where multiple homeless individuals running around the area. One individual actually urinated behind my truck as I waited for individual to show up. No one was there to help me unhook.

Homeless people sleeping on the sidewalk of the business both on pickup and return. Left front trailer tire completely bald and even showing cordage in the center of the tire. Poor access for pickup and drop off, very tight parking lot.

Wash windows. I don't blame this location, but I wanted to pick up my truck at Treadway on Corral Hollow in Tracy a half mile from my apartment. I DIDNT WANT TO DRIVE TO STOCKTON. Also, I reserved a 15' truck but only a 10' was available.

The original truck I was supposed to rent had a problem and they were able to provide a replacement on site. However, they did not change the gas gauge on their receipt, and we had difficulty returning the truck without the gas surcharge due to this error. They were able to resolve the issue, but it would have been nice if they had marked the gas gauge of the replacement truck in their system when the change was made.

I had a reservation for a truck and a dolly and they were out of both! The vehicle had all types of damages on the out side was a little fearful I would get charged on one of them so took plenty of pictures. The whole pick up was just terrible they just seemed uncaring for not having anything I reserved! And wanted us to pay full prices still! Never again would I go back there.

I love U people. They like to work. I have the bad habit of showing up with out a reservation. They don't blink a eye. Check to see what's available, 15 minutes later, I'm on my way. U Trucks and Van's are in good shape. Good on gas. I never worry, That it's going to break down.

Loved it. Just dropped in last minute. Decided to pick up a door and install it, last minute. Renting from location was easy. Agent took the time to explain options.

Scammed me. Said I didn't return the truck with proper fuel level when I did. Charged me a cleaning fee even thought it was in the same condition as I got it. Charged me $171 without even telling me. Next time I rented a uhaul is when they told me to pay or else they wouldn't be able to rent it to me. The day of my move they decided to bring up these fake charges and refuse to rent to me until I paid the $171 of bogus charges

The U-haul place is at a gas station, the only positive thing there was I was available to get the gas at the same I returned it. Also not a good area.

Find a truck closer to my home. Fourth miles to pick it up was time consuming when you are moving. This location was very helpful and worked hard to make it easy for us.

So many problems with this rental experience. Original reservation was at Tam Oshanter but the truck never made it back to i was sent to Charter way. The trucks back gate wouldn't open for the girl. She had one of the homeless drug addicts come and help her open it and then it wouldn't close. She claimed they fixed it and wanted me to take it but i refused. She told me the other truck was reserved for a 12:00 reservation and didn't want to let me take it. It wasn't until i got really upset that she reluctantly allowed me to take the other truck. It was obvious she wasn't happy with me. And to top it off, i had to put gas in the truck. She never took my experience and INCONVENIENCE into consideration. Didn't care that we were cold and uncomfortable with all of the homeless drug addicted men hanging around the trucks! Such a terrible experience!

Making a reservation a week in advance is useless. I did so and had to wait three days for a truck. No discount . Im sorry does not quite help when you have people lined to help you and are not available three days later when you need them. Does it matter. Hell no not to you folks.

The staff was very helpful. Not much you can do about the neighborhood, but it was easy to get on & off the freeway. We were thankful we could drop it off on a Sunday evening instead of having to wait until the next day.

Truck was older 90k+ miles, so some of this is to be expected. Shell station staff were great and responsive, fast in and out. Truck's alignment was pretty bad, and the transmission is definitely aging. Overall good experience!

The pick station was great. The service I got from the Manteca headquarters, was awful they sucked. Not only did they call me three times they got the truck size wrong and kept changing the location of pick up making further from my destination. They wanted me driving an hour for pick up and communication was horrible. The only good the thing was the young lady in STOCKTON where I picked up she was helpful thru the U-Haul madness. Very angry would never use U-Haul again.

Truck was unstable on the road. Had to fight the steering wheel to keep it straight on the road. UHaul had only a fourth tank of gas in it which forced user to buy gas from this Shell gas station. Pretty shady operation.

The lady helping me was very helpful, but the truck was very dirty and it took her 20 minutes to clean it up. The back was dirty with some kind of hardened wax or resin everywhere. The cab had someones burrito spread everywhere. It was a mess and delayed my departure time.

i had t drive 400 miles to return the truck to avoid a $390 fee for dropping off the truck at a different location. they said i had to return it because it was there personal truck and they needed that one there. i should have just paid the fee. because they charged me those miles plus i had to buy gas. i had to return it that night at 8:00 pm. i had to drive 70+mph and I MADE IT RIGHT ON TIME it ended up costing me 2x as in mileage and gas because they said that was there personal, PERSONAL uhaul truck. i think i know why, faulty gas gauge; customers are having to put more gas in when returning it. and i had to rent a car, to drive back where i was. that cost me $400. so 400 miles at .79 cents a mile, $316 (Idk if thats taxed) plus $250 gas plus $400 to rent a car (only $40 in gas =) $960 i had to pay extra to avoid a $390 drop off fee. wtf was i thinking. so do they have a personal u haul truck? im sure thats violation of your guys contract some how.

When I told them the gas was not where they said it was on the form he told me it was fine however when I returned the rental with same amount I was given, they charged me $55 for gas. This is second time this exact location has done this to me. Will definetly go with pensky next time.

The woman helping me was 100% unhelpful. Kept rolling her eyes and acting like everything was my problem. My dad had towed the trailer I had rented with his Ford F-250 Superduty Dually. She rolled her eyes when he said he didn't park it “in the back” (where there was NO PARKING). Then we walked to the area where all the uHaul trailers were parked and there was one extremely narrow space that was almost impossible for a trailer to fit into. She insisted that's where this huge trailer should be parked. My dad has been a heavy machine operator for road construction companies for most of his life - he is no stranger to maneuvering large trailers. It took him 3 attempts before he finally got the trailer into this spot WITH APROXIMATELY 4 INCHES OF CLEARANCE BETWEEN BOTH SIDES OF THE TRAILER. The girl “helping” us simply rolled her eyes as if she had better things to do. Then she looked my dad dead in the eyes and said “I hope you have a Jack” (to unhitch the trailer) AS IF the trailer belongs to him! Fortunately he DID have a Jack & was able to unhitch it. Then HE had to find something to lower the trailer hitch onto because YOUR EMPLOYEE wasn't equipped to deal with a trailer(??????????)! And she rolled her eyes AGAIN when I had to move my car (so my dad could park his truck after this nearly impossible imposition my this woman) before I came back in to settle my bill. Then I got charged $30 for returning the trailer “late” which was NOT what I was told at the beginning. Honestly, if i'd Known how much hassle & attitude I was going to get from this woman, I would have had my dad unhitch the trailer right in front of the store & leave. I do not appreciate being treated as if i'm Imposing on some woman's nap time if she's on the clock and being paid to communicate with customers.
