Check to ensure vehicles are clean after each rental. The pickup truck I rented/received was very very dirty, with beverage cups, fast food bags, trash & dirty clothing. This vehicle was also very dirty on the outside. Had to was the windshield to see out of it. I did inform the uhaul agent, who told me to just sit the items on the ground.Tyrone V.

Gas gauge level at pickup was same as gas gauge level at drop off. Plus we had picture of gas gauge showing level as proof. U-haul had something different in their system and wanted to charge additional amount. Came to an agreement.vincent H.

Truck was dirty and smelled bad. Tire blew out while I was on the freeway. Took over 2 hours for them to find someone to replace the tire. I was moving , and had paid movers, but they ended up leaving because their time was up and they had no truck to load or unload because I was stranded on the side of the road. Not only am I out of $175 for my movers, it made my experience terrible.Wykela H.

I had reserved a uhual moving truck at minner market in stockton Ca , when we got there they didn't have the the truck I reserved. 😩 we had to drive to charter way to pick up another truck. The cashier was friendly and got us in and out. Also I had seen if I had reserved a truck and they didn't have it the day of , i would get $50 . I would like more information on that because I waisted my time on going to minner market and waiting on him to find me another truck and having to drive to the other location. This location was great. I didn't originally set this as my pick up location, as it is farther from my hone than the original location I was supposed to pick up at 620 miner avenue. U- haul sent me a message just the day before my pickup to send me to Martin Luther King location at the Shell gas station. Since I am being charged for mileage at .79 per mile that automatically cost me more money to and from . This is the second time U- Haul has done this to , the same thing was done on my previous rental but that time they sent me 15 miles out of my way. Upon returning my rental it took over 30 minutes because the contract did not come up on the screen . We had to contact the Central Valley help center and then Someone called to explain to the clerk how to get the contract brought up. It still didn't work then I had to go to mobile app and do several things but that did not work either. We had to call the Central Valley help center and she had to actually close out the contract. Hopefully next time I rent a vehicle from you it will not be so complicated. The store did there best and finally the return got completed.Cynthia L.

I'm very disappointed in Uhaul the company. I reserved a truck in Stockton got a text that my rental was in West Sac. Then got converted to Cameron Park way out of my way. It will be awhile before I rent from you again.LaKeicha L.

When connecting the car dolly found out the left light was out, initially there was no wire extension with dolly, but we had to go all over to try to find one before the manager got one from another uhaul dealer he only had access to.KENNETH H.

The UHAUL service attendant is so helpful, kind and informative. She is very professional and knows her job. Hard worker. These days, that is hard to find in customer service. You should give her a raise of at least $1 an hour.Kathleen M.
First of all person behind the counter should be able to speak at least a little English enough to understand what is going on not just handover the keys to a vehicle without asking for ID or payment even though I offered to give him my ID this has never happened at any other U-Haul I will still use U-Haul because I know this is just one bad cherry in the bunchFRANKIE A.
Customer service was poor. They held authorization on my card and charged me the full amount on top of the authorization. The truck shouldn't been on the road it pulled in both directions more to the left. I forgot furniture pads at home they changed me 7.00 per pad, gas was were it was and then had the nerve to charge me 23 for gas. The air-conditioned didn't work they didn't mention nothing about it in 103 degree heat. Not to mention my original reservation the previous customer didn't return their truck by 12 so I got bumped to this shady store and location. Called uhaul the told me they couldn't do nothing??? Lol huh what.. then told me to contact the store I did and they were aware of the air conditioning not working and had not said something I asked if they were going to compensate me they said I gotta call uhaul, but I was not going to do is play send me in circles. Called the general manager and pending a call back. I have a bad tasteAPRIL G.

Our original reservation was cancelled by regional dispatch. We reserved a 26ft truck was told only a 10ft was available. We then located our own 26ft truck in Stockton and the air condition didnt work, the brakes were bad and it. smelled as though it was burning oil.PATRIC C.
the uhaul had no AC working and to top it off it would turn off on me or wouldn't want to turn on at all. l let them know what was wrong and all they said was that that's how they get them. will never use the cell phone or app to rent a haul either because it took 45 min to get it since the person online decided to take for ever so it was false advertisement by saying fast and easy. never againRosio R.

EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED- U-Haul Lodi- scheduled pickup location- trailer lights did not operate- BUSINESS REFUSED to test anything or try another trailer. No options. â€œWe can't rent if lights don't work. Come back later, or call central to locate a repair facility and make appointment. Don't know where. It is Saturday so Monday will be first opportunity. Wilson Way in Stockton may have someone who can fix today. I don't knowâ€. Later, when I reached a Supervisor by phone, who called Lodi, he lied, said all my wiring had been cut. NOTE- U-Haul installed my hitch and wiring Feb 2019. U-Haul repaired my wiring April 2020, for a charge. I am an EXTENSIVE customer of U-Haul with numerous rentals and storage for last 2.5 years. I have always been satisfied until this nightmare delayed me 2.5 days, over $100 and 200 miles driving. Something is wrong with management or procedures in Lodi. If I cannot pay for and obtain service from U-Haul , for U-Haul equipment, where do you recommend I go next time. The store that finally did the wiring, and the pickup store, were excellent.TRACY D.
First of all this is a gas station, second is busy place no room maneuver a twenty foot truck and a 12 to 15 foot car hauler, third of all I spent 45 trying back up this thing into a parking becase they had no capable person to do it making the customer no do it for them.DIEGO C.

The younger guy working at the Charter way she'll in Stockton, Sukhi Singh tried to overcharge me when I got the vehicle by adding time to make the price higher. I caught him on that. Then when I returned the truck he tried to charge me for fuel. It was on 1/2 tank and he marked the tick below half. After I told him that is a half a tank. Look at it !! The lady working there came out and told him in Indian in front of the customer me it is half. She then said a bunch of other stuff in Indian to him and she marked half. I did not like the way they interacted in front of me. Mr Singh saying I am trying to make more money for us is bad business and I will not return to this location to rent a truck again. I will definitely use U haul but I will go to another location. Honestly he was rude the whole process thinking he was funny. I won't go back to that gas station for anything again. But the van was very nice and U haul itself as a company I will do business with again.KERRY P.

I would never ever recommend Uhaul to anyone!!! I received the worst service I've ever experienced in my life these past few days. First I'm told my truck is no longer guaranteed. Then it's 1hr and 15 min away. When I drive to get it they never put the key in the box. Then I'm told they have a truck for me 15 mins from my house! Go to pickup truck and I'm told by owner of the gas station that it's not a one way truck and if I don't bring it back I will be charged 1200 dollars. He said â€œdon't try to drop this truck off in Monterey, if you do I will charge you $1200â€. I had to spend over $200 on gas when I originally planned on gas for one way only. Was never offered compensation for that. I can honestly say after this experience I will never return to Uhaul again. Not only was it a waste of my money, it was a waste of my time! Worst service ever!!!!!!!!!Jason E.

I just wish there was a late fee rather than an entire day charge. Moving can be tricky and as hard as ones tries obstacles can occur. My drop off time was 1:30. I had to drop it off late due to moving issues with the new house. I dropped it off at 3:30, and it cost me an additional full day, yet I had to return it as it was reserved for 6:00 PM by another. Even after having to pay for an additional day, someone else pays as well. Nice revenue!Rachel L.
