Have someone to serve you. After having to drive to a different location to pick up truck when it was supposed to be a guaranteed pick up in Woodstock. Time and gas wasted in my car to o go pick it up. Then wait longer for someone to serve me after I got there.Larry M.

Firstly uhaul changed my location just before my pickup time. I went to the new location in Drumbo and my pickup time was the same...5:30 PM. When I showed up the person that knows how to do the uhaul account was not there... she said well he should be back in 5 mins... I came back 5 minutes later. Then 10 minutes later. Finally 45 minutes AFTER my scheduled pickup time, this guys decided to show up. This is unacceptable!!! If you are going to have a UHaul pickup location, everyone at the location needs to be trained not just one person. I will be calling uhaul directly to ask for some of money back. This was the worst experience and should not happen with such a big company.COURTNEY L.
First of all, I reserved a trailer in Cambridge, made plans to pick a car up, and received a call the following morning telling me I had to pick up in Drumbo. (30min drive each way) When I got to the location only the gas station attendant was present. (another 25 minute delay to call, print and sign ppwk) When I hooked the trailer up, the right tail light was missing and the left tail light didn't work!!Andrew M.

Don't tout your buggy and I'll conceived app as a "quicker and easier" way to get your truck faster when in reality it was never going to work due to terrible implementation.. I tried the app and goat most of the way through until it crashed and I was unable to return to the point I left off. I was unable to complete the checkout process and had to go to the desk where they had no idea I was renting a truck and waste 30 minutes waiting for paperwork... Additionally I was charged extra on top of the amount I prepaid to reserve the truck effectively holding my wallet hostage as I needed the truck on my moving day... This was not made clear before hand nor can anyone explain what the additional charges were for. Once I finally got the truck I realized how damaged it was and should probably condemned for how many accidents it had been in, again I was stuck and had already paid for the truck and nothing else within reasonable driving distance was avaliable.. Overall terrible experience... I was told that the second day and my mileage would be free of charge as I had to drive out of my way to get the truck in the first place, online reservation showed $78 plus taxes for the rental so I assumed that second day free and mileage would reduce the rate to the original amount I tried to get through the online checkout process. I would never have rented the truck if I knew it was going to be $200+ for driving 50 km for the move, not to mention the additional 100km I had to drive round trip to get the truck in the first place. Never was I given a clear breakdown of what the charges were for and when you make a reservation they do not actually from a contract, they wait for you to try and pick up the truck and then use that opportunity to charge you extra to be handed the keys. Uhual has permanently lost my business and my respect. I will never be contacting you again for anything.Matthew V.

This location was not appropriate for a rental company, the man behind the counter had to call his son which was not there to even find the reservation. He runs a gas bar and variety store, so he was interrupted constantly by other customers. He was on the phone with his son for approximately 45 minutes trying to get my contract ready. He did not go to truck at all to prove gas or damage on vehicle! After the return 3 hours later, he disputed the gas amount, and I did not sign off on rental. His son was supposed to come and complete contract but I didn't want to wait another 30 minutes. Told me I would get email of contract as soon as his son showed up. I never received the contract until the next day!! I would definitely not use this agent again, and would tell anyone that was going to use it, to run!!! Find another agent!! This was the most unprofessional rental of a vehicle I have ever had!! And he didn't even offer a discounted price for only a 3 hour rental!!! $39.95 for 3 houRs seems a little ridiculous!!! I hope this guy well, BUT NEVER AGAIN!!!!Dave K.
The location I requested was in Guelph. I got an email at 6:30pm the night before I was supposed to pick up the truck saying it was in Drumbo, which is an hour away from my house. I was on the phone for hours trying to sort it out. Out of all the people I talked to only 1 actually tried to help me. The rest basically said too bad. The staff mixed up my rental trailer number with another customers. When it was time to drop off the trailer, I received a call saying that the trailer wasn't at the drop off location and we would owe additional rental fees. You didn't believe us when we said that we dropped off the trailer on the agreed upon date. So it was embarrassing and confusing. All due to carelessness on the part of the rental personal.brendy S.

Shell Gas & Travel Centre in Drumbo was great. Original location we were supposed to pick up our trailer - Norwich ave in Woodstock Ontario - was absolutely AWFUL. Rude. Terrible customer service, I've actually never had as terrible customer service as I did there. Why own a uhaul if you don't want to rent uhauls!? Reserved this online, two days later my credit card was used fraudulently. The lady at the pick up location tried to send me away because she didn't know what she was doing and wanted me to wait for her son or husband. I reserved it for 5 I wasn't coming back at 6 to suit them!! Worst experience ever! Being on time when somebody books an appointment. It took me 45 minutes to get my trailer. Then, when I got the trailer to smell like cow manure. That was unacceptable... To get where you're going and put furniture and a chair that smells that bad with no apology from anybody and poor customer service. I had prearranged with uhaul two days in advance to pick up the truck around 9am on saturday may 14. I had arranged a moving team and several activities based around this timing. I tried calling this location several times. I either went to voice mail or no answer. We arrived at the location on May 14 at 830. The owner of the service station was behind the counter. When I told him what I was there for he first said he didn't know I was coming. He then said he couldn't help me as his son, who takes care of uhaul, had worked the night shift and was now sleeping. He told me he couldn't assist and I informed him that was not good enough. He then tried to call his son and wake him. The son and owner love above the truck stop and store. He could not reach his son. He then told me again he could not help me. He got an employee who also didn't know what to do. I told him if he didn't help me I would call uhaul. He said go ahead and call them. I told him that this was not my issue that he didn't know how to do the paperwork and to fix it and he said that me renting a truck was not his issue. I then told him that was not acceptable and I needed the truck. He said I could get the truck, but would have to come back. I said no, I had planned a whOle day around the timing of the truck and I wanted the truck now. I then said that I would be calling uhaul, and he said go ahead. I called uhaul and a very pleasant man assisted me. He spoke to the store owner and then proceeded to do the paperwork with me over the phone and then would fax to the store owner. As I was talking to uhaul the store owner called uhaul in his own which caused confusion. Uhaul was able to assist with completing the paper work. I was able to proceed with the truck rental. We asked and paid for an appliance cart that we did not get included with the truck.cara M.

The tow dolly was completely frozen in the ice! In darkness i found a metal bar that i could chip away at the hitch and chains to free them. The square nut was frozen solid. I spent 40 mins at 6.45 am in minus 6 degrees and not offered any help. Then when i put the car on the dolly the ratchets were all rusted and needed freeing off. I realise this time of year doesnt help but the 15ft van i got from ayr depot was a totally differrnt experience. Very professional and pleasant and spent time going over vehicle with me. Would definately use ayr againMike W.
none of your larger enclosed trailers have the fold down front wheel with the crank down on it it would help imensly if all of your trailers had them on . im 60 years old and i had to use my furniture dolly to lift the front up and down to get it into place due to the weight of the trailer. it would make life easier for eveyone thank you brian peerBrian P.

First off we had to go to this location as our reservation didn't happen at the original location (which we we credited for). The trailer rented was dirty inside, and upon drop off we we told that we didn't get refund and the clerk (older man) was rude. in the end we did get a refund of the deposit, but are turned off of the whole experience!Joe M.

The truck i rented for moving had a loud wine coming from the drive axle. When i reported this to the rep at u-haul i was told that trucks make that noise.I drive for a living and know that trucks do not make noises lijke that unless something is not right.I hope the truck is checked out before the next person ends up broke down on the highway with a load of household goods.Moving is streesful enough without any added problemsPETER T.

Give them a pick up location where requested. I don't understand the point in having to book in advance (I did this about 3 weeks in advance) when I have to pick it up a half hour in the wrong direction.MARC L.
My experience dropping off the truck was excellent, the man there noted "that this was the oldest Uhaul truck he had seen and would not rent it out, but rather call to have it taken away". I had to fill the truck back up to 1/4 even though I did not get it that way, it cost $80 to drive not very far. He said "that if I did not have such old equipment my fuel cost would be lower". I do not believe that my overall experience was satisfactory, and think that I should be refunded some of my gas money. I would appreciate a call as soon as possible. In this momemt I would not rent from Uhaul again and would discourage others to do so. Please make this right. I appreciate the chance to offer feedback!MICHAEL S.

I received the wrong dolly and charge for the more expensive one originally ordered. I had to wait 45 min for the person who deals with truck rentals to be called in I received a truck one notch below half tank but my paper had it marked as being at half a tank and was therefore charged an extra 50$ even though I filled the tank to the original level After calling u-haul to discuss these discrepancies and basically told u signed a contract so to bad so sad I will not be using your services ever again and will not be recommending your services to anyone else. I thought your company strives to make moving easier but instead u caused me more headaches.JONATHON G.
