clemencia cMaybe if the friend didn’t have many locations to choose from. This is convenient to people I’m La Vernia. I w dropped here because I couldn’t make the 7 pm drop off time I’m San Antonio. Then I was charged for that. Even though I only had the vehicle for 5-6 hours.

Christian RThe U-Haul truck we rented was very sluggish or seemed as though it needed a tuneup. I also didn’t like being charged a fee for insurance of like $14 when I was never informed that or offered insurance. Therefore I had to call and dispute it after the fact.
Marilyn SUhaul’s logistical challenges fail the customer. I reserved a 20’ truck and was subjected to down grade to a 15’ truck due to lack of availability. Also, opening times of the business were incorrect.
David GThe station owner initially said the truck wasn’t there (before going it to actually look), he then went outside to look and it was there. The contactless process was horrible! The system was glitching (putting me in a continual loop of doom) it took me and an online u-haul agent 30 minutes (in total) to figure it out. The drop off location was on base (an entirely new set of self-inflicted issues), this location needs to update their address, as the one provided does not actually take you to the correct bldg. After many calls to the location, I had to eventually put in ‘Firestone off 761 Tank Battalion Ave’ to actually go to the correct location. Also navigation takes you to an active duty only gate (retired or dependent ID holders need to enter the Clearwater or 78th st gates). Which might be helpful to future uhaul patrons. All that said, the agent was amazing! He was knowledgeable, patient and professional. Warmly, Tya :)
Qwariea WThis location was perfect by this was not our scheduled pickup location. We had a reservation to pick up the truck from a San antonio location but when we got there they didn't have the truck so we had to drive over an hour to maintain out reservation.

Marty WConvienince store with one lady employee. No computer. Everything done on smart phone. Every-time a store customer came in I had to move over, wait while she rang them up. Took forever. Then, no one to help hook up trailer. No one to help check trailer lights. No way will I ever go back there!!

James TThe engine/transmission on the truck we had needs some work. Barely gets to third gear. Luckily we did not have any highway driving because this would probably not be safe on those higher speed roads.

Clint EHe told me I could drop it off anywhere I wanted. Got to the drop they said I have to drive it back to Lavernia had to spend a hour after being tired from moving to call customer service which was a 45 min wait in the phone. Wait time is ridiculous when to set up its 5 …..
shaina dmy original reservation was at 920 IH 35 S, New Braunfels TX 78130. When I showed up I had to wait an hour in line. The Employee was rude and said that although I had a reservation it did not mean anything. He stated that my reservation only stated that I had a place in line in the que. This is very bad business. He told me there was nothing he could do for me. I asked tospeak with the manager about this issue, and he explained to me that he was the manager and there was nothing he would do. He then told me to call 1 800 uhaul. I rent uhaul trucks pretty often, but now I may have to go to penski and budget from now on. This service was very inconvenient, displaced my ability to move and the employee was very disrespectful and rude. His words were that he was busy and we needed him more than he needed us.

DANIEL PThe vans mirror was place on the driver's side mirror arm primed to fall off with our any warning durning my drive home it started to raise up out of the armature and I had to manual hold it while driving till I got home and figured out how to drive without a drive side mirror. I tried calling the store number and disconnect.

Robert PRequested the truck and 70 pads a week in advanced. When we got there to pick up the truck, there was only one person working. Took forever. Then they didn’t have all the pads, only 9 of the 70 we ordered. Ended up having to go somewhere else to get more.

Thristian HCommunication could be better explained about the contract. Also in town the mileage is .50 per mile. The location in La Vernia is .99 per mile. This makes a Huge difference during the COVID-19 pandemic times. WHY???
