I had to return the U-Haul truck late in the evening. The U-Haul return business was closed. Unfortunately the place was small with very little room to park a 26 ft truck and was poorly lit. Then, the mobile app to check in and return the vehicle was not functioning correctly. After some time I managed to complete the return through the website. That went smoothly :-)Robert M.

Couldn't locate my drop off. I was charged a drop off fee for the wrong drop off. No drop off address on the contract. My drop off date was on a Sunday. Bad combination all around. I contacted the regional office and they told me they could not help me and my situation. I was charged for two rental trucks in two different directions at the same time. Uhaul, as a company really screwed us over. We made our reservation for pick up in our town over a month a head of time and the day before they told us the closest pick up for the size truck we needed was three hours away. When asked if they could get it closer we were met with a firm no. They didn't even comp us the gas it took to drive their gas guzzling truck 3 hours back to where we actually needed it. Huge disservice and will be using Penske next time even if costs more. Shutters towing was great, with nice staff and empathetic, but uhaul can pound sand as far as I'm concerned.Angie H.

We do NOT have any idea how uhaul could ever improve on these two Dealers..... Both Shutters Towing made the pick up so extremely easy and Sparky's Repair was exceptional as well!!!! I reserved a truck online and had the location changed twice in two days including the day I was scheduled to pick up the truck. I had to drive an extra 90 miles as well as make other changes to my moving arrangements. In addition, the original pickup site in Morris MN is unacceptable. They are not open any posted hours, have no answering machine and when you go there in person the doors are locked and the cell phone isn't answered and voicemail is full. The person running this site is also unable to answer basic questions or trouble shoot situations.Rhoda S.

Let them know with â€œwordsâ€ when they pick up what time the truck must be returned by to avoid being charged an extra day. What a rip-off. I'm sure it was on the emailed contract but you need to make it more obvious. With all the texts and emails, why don't you make it clear upfront? Really pissed me off having to pay another day then you probably made someone else pay to rent it while I was still paying for itmarta M.

This location was more then helpful, the complaint I have is with the initial contact I made with U-Haul they quoted me a price and told me I could pick the trailer up in another location for the same price and it wasn't so, which I still don't understand, the price was adjusted but The principal is in question. There word and my expectations should match, shouldn't be able to change the price when I get there. This establishment tried to work it out with me but it should have been honored as quoted!!sandra F.
The U-haul website sent me to the wrong address, but the location and people themselves were wonderful. The guy here was super helpful and very nice! Great customer care! My only improvement would be the u-haul website: using the right address (because there are more than one Alexandria, MN pickup locations!!). It would also be nice if the option and price to rent more days was clearly visible on the uhaul website!Marie O.

Charge me $5 to remove 3 empty water bottles that were locked in the truck while I was helping one of YOUR customers un-hook a trailer. Felt the gas was at 3/8, was charged gas and mileage caused by your inability to have a truck where I booked it and had to drop off at a location that again I didn't book, adding more milage and gas, sent a note to your customer service and was told charges will not be changed, very disappointed in uHaul, I have used your company a lot, but no more!David M.
