Had a pickup ordered for Monday but had a flat tire. No one let me know about the flat tire had to use a van instead. Someone should of called and told me about the flat tire so I could of found a truckDavid B.
The cabin of the truck was not fully cleaned napkins and crumbs everywhere. Also the A/C did not function. In Arizona this is not acceptable the morning was bearable but when it cam time to return it in the afternoon the cabin was very uncomfortable.Victor L.

Truck parking and staging area for pickup and return is woefully inadequate. I have had CDL license for over forty years and I had to apply extra caution in maneuvering for return. Tight quarters will eventually lead to accidents and property damage in parking lot turn-around area.Mikel A.

the UHaul app is not good at all. I did the app for pick of truck. It took 20 mins to even get the code to the lock box for the key to the truck. I had to wait to get the approval to get the code which was like 10 mins. I probably would not use that app again.Doris R.

Used u-haul everytime I needed a truck. Which is alot. Never had an experience like this before. Now the first place I went to that was the location I was supposed to pick truck up. Well that was wrong. Directed to another location which when I arrived there wasn't a truck there for me. Was then very irritated. So I then received a text for another location to pick up a truck. This is the part where I go from irritated to very mad and confused. Because when opened the text with address on Google maps, it had taken me to a location which was not at all where I was supposed to be. Now at this point ready to just cancel my reservation for truck and go home. But that wasn't an option. Lets just say very dissatisfied and disappointed that I had to go through all the nonsense. Would like something to be done! Maybe a refund or something.Joseph P.

Can't say enough nice things about Jake. I live in the senior village behind the facility. I am not comfortable doing things on line. I've rented from the Signal Butte and Guadalupe location for years. I typically need to rent a moving truck 3 to 4 times a year. I have always dealt with Jake, the manager, and he has always lived up to expectations and has been professional every time.ryan E.
The person I dealt with needs to be reviewed. He was arrogant and condescending and made a point of letting me know he had "superior intelligence". Based on how I was treated and how he in my opinion purposely tried to make sure that no matter how I answered his question I would be paying the for the insurance either way, He either knew exactly what he was doing or had no idea. The guy at this location was not the friendliest. Plus I asked for a dolly, when we checked the truck before we left there was not one. I went back in to ask him about it and he said sarcastically, I can't rent you what I don't have and that he had taken it off my bill. He also said I was notified by email that it was removed, but I never got it. So then we went ahead and took the truck, but had to attempt to find a dolly. We called the uhaul customer service and a woman named Heidi was very helpful and did locate a location near us that had one available, so we did go and get that but it was inconvenient that it wasn't already with the uhaul. We did have a low tire as well, and roadside assistance came and took care of that. I called uhaul as I requested a 17ft but they said they upgraded me to a 20ft because they didn't have any 17ft available but that it was no extra charge for me. When I received my contract, I was charged for it, but when I called scheduling was nice enough to keep the word of their employee and revised my contract so I wasn't charged for it. I also extended our rental time without it being an issue.SHAWON B.
Better customer service. The staff was not friendly and changed the price of the rental truck half way through the paperwork. A fully cleaned rental truck without a putrid smell would be nice. The smell was nauseating. The vehicle had 3800 miles on it, were told it was new but the A/C didnt work. Lastly, no surprises in the contract. We were told one price and then charged a different price. A â€œcleaningâ€ charge when we only had the vehicle for four hours and after having to endure the smell. Ridiculous! I would not rent anything, not even a storage unit from this place. It needs to be shut down and made into a parking lot.Brian H.

The individual who helped me was very rude on both days I interacted with him (when I arrived to rent the truck and when I returned it). I asked him repeatedly why he felt the need to be rude to me and speak to me the way he was. He never answered. He also yelled at me to park the truck in a different direction which I could not have known, he proceeded to tell me that I would be charged $5.50 per gallon by uhaul to refuel truck when the contract clearly stated $3.75 per gallon. He acted inconvenienced with every aspect of helping me and the following customers who came in while I was there. I will NEVER return to this location. He was terrible. I need to add that there was another gentleman with a shaved head who partly helped me when I rented the truck and he was very professional and polite. However, on the off chance I would have to interact with his counterpart, I would not risk returning to that location. I did not deserve to be spoken down to, yelled at, chastised and sneered at. I was charged for rental insurance when I specifically declined the coverage - my personal auto insurance covers Uhaul rentals (I called to make sure of it). I asked the rep about this when we returned the truck and he brushed me off and said the insurance was added because most people don't really have personal coverage & just walked away from my husband and I. Henry was the worst person in the world for customer service. I had a time at 10:00am pick-up, but wasn't able to find a ride to get there until 11:00am. Because of that, I wanted to go inside to confirm I was still able to get the truck (I had originally signed up for mobile check-out) When I got there, Henry was on a break, so I waited outside for a ten minutes while the door was locked. When he came to unlock the door, I was standing just outside ready to come in, thinking he would open the door and greet me like a normal human. He just walked away, so I walked in and without looking at me, he just asked what I needed. After finding out who I was, he said â€œyep, you're an hour late. Your rental would have gone back in our system and blah blah...â€ he went on to say all these negative things about what would happen to my rental, when finally I was able to ask if I was still able to get the truck. He responded, â€œ yes, but next time you need to follow directions on the emailâ€ While getting me checked in, he asked if I was related to our Congressman Biggs, and I told him no (wondering what he wanted to say about him, but in reality, I am) He continued to say how much he hated a couple of his policies, and that he would be voting differently in November. I don't care who you Vote for, just be conscious of your audience and what place of business you are in while you talk politics. Finally, after many lectures of being late, getting signed in, etc. he finally got the keys for me. Right as I was leaving, he said this â€œThank you in advance for parking the truck the way it is now, folding the blankets up, and cleaning the truck out, otherwise you will be charged a $25 cleaning fee. This included if you do not leave the visor as it is now. Goodbye.â€ He just left to go back inside without ensuring I didn't have any other questions. Overall, worst customer experience I have had in years. I recognize that I was a mobile check out person, but no one was in the shop, he wasn't busy at all, so a simple gesture of helping out is not the end of the world. I didn't know what was going to happen since I was an hour late, and he did nothing to gain my confidence back the entire time. He never said a positive thing to me during the lecture he gave me. Not once did he look me in the eye, but instead just treated me as if I was wasting his time. I won't use this location again, and hope that Henry has a rude awakening to what service is in the real world.DEREK B.

The mobile pick up via phone took 30 minutes to get approved and our movers were waiting. Way longer than anticipatedCarlos M.
We arrived at 5:50am to start the process of electronic check in to get the key to the truck from the lock box for a 6:00am pick up. We got the code for box #4 (321) and it wouldn't work. We tinkered with it for almost 10 min before clicking on "I can't retrieve my key from the lock box" and calling 833-399-0504 as instructed to do so. We sat on hold for almost 15 minutes before being placed on another hold for another 15 minutes. After the woman on the couldn't help us we were AGAIN placed on hold. The phone call, while mostly on hold, lasted 38 min and 55 seconds. The only reason it ended was because an employee showed up (who was obviously initially disgruntled of having to be there) and was able to unlocked the box to get us the key. I am not sure what he was told as he opened the store to let us in and sounded surprised when we said we didn't need to come in, we just needed our key. After he unlocked the box he said he would provide a discount for our troubles. We said thanks, clearly annoyed but trying to be polite, and starting walking away. He laughed and said "hope you weren't waiting too long". We chose not to say anything. Shockingly, he did NOT apply a discount and we were charged the full price. I would highly suggest having a direct number for people on our situation to call verses having to reach general customer service then be transferred to the right department. We hired movers to help and the hour delay through everyone off schedule. Not a good experience at all especially when you're promised a discount without asking and not provided with one.Darlene M.

Did not agree with the gas charge! When the attendant took me to the vehicle, he noted the gas was a little over half a tank. My wife got into the vehicle and also confirmed the amount as I mentioned we would need to replenish. When we received the email bill. There was an additional charge claiming there was 3\4 of a tank instead of the less than 1\2 the tank. I replaced what I used and returned it with the same amount!Peter G.
