This rental place had only 1 trailer, no hitch, no hitch pin, no help, no receiver, no plug for lights, no paperwork, no contract, just terrible. The older gentleman couldn't handle any of this and seemed very confused. I had to go and buy all the parts to put it together. He had to call another guy on the phone to help me rent it, the older guy seemed very confused and not well.MARIE H.

Although the representative was a nice man, his office was dirty, dusty and disorganized. To be honest, I was shocked by how poorly it looked. I ordered 1 dozen furniture blankets and he had none. He did not know how to use the computer very well and his printer did not have a printer cartridge so he did not print out my contract. I ended talking with the main office to work through the problems of uploading my driver's license pictures. The representative did not know how to do this. In my opinion, this was "hicksville" at its best and really needs to corrected.John B.

I made a reservation for my local pick up in Fernley Nevada and then they told me I had to drive 15 miles to pick up a truck because they had it there and not in Fernley. Day of moving there was a truck In Fernley but they would not allow me to use it or compensate me in anyway. I was told that by U-Haul on the phone. They did give me an extra 60 milesLaura A.

although i returned my truck after hours an did not see anyone at this location. i did call next morning and spoke with the owner and he was extremely nice. i had had put keys in drop box without closing out the app check in. so i called next morning as soon as he opened turns out he had already checked it in for me and sent me my final receipt via email. i would definitely recommend this location in silver springs nv......restored a little bit of my faith in that uhal can be a good experience. thank youSherry M.

The truck we were supposed to get was not at the location in Fallon due to a non return so we had to contact UHaul but got our call dropped twice. Went to another UHaul location and was helped by a very nice couple and arranged to pickup a truck in Silver Springs. With a little more confusion we got the truck. John in Silver Springs was very nice and helpful but the change in plans made for confusion.Robert B.

John even though hes definitely a nice guy, doesn't know how to use the uhaul website. I understand due to his age and elders don't really get with the technology for this generation. This was the Worst Experience I have ever had dealing with another human being, The incompetence and lack of professionalism was the worst I have ever been exposed to. We were asked if we new how to use the computer and had to assist the person through u-hauls network. To top off the experience we were told we would have to hook up the car hauling trailer to the box van ourselves, which we did. We were diverted here at the last minute and it drastically changed our plans in a negative way. I am very disappointed and would like to be reimbursed for all of my expenses and currently seeking legal advicescott M.

At my location there wasnt any trucks in the size I needed so I had to go out of town to get the truck. I was told that it was cheaper to buy more miles up front and if I dont use them I wouldnt be charged for those miles. I ended up not using all the miles and they would not refund the un used miles. Make sure the trailer the customer is wanting is at the location the customer is sent to. I was sent to the wrong U-Haul location. The location I was sent to did not have the size trailer I needed and Silver Springs Auto Sales down the street did have the size I needed.Arvil H.

The front brakes were horrible and I don't think the Trailor brakes were actually working. Going down hills in the mountain I had to use the transmission most the time because the front brakes would get hot and not let me stop. That was highly dangerous and if someone who isn't experienced was driving the same I did they would of likely wrecked. That was not cool by any means and the trailor had a bent tounge.BENJAMIN N.

When I call the 800# and give U-haul information regarding what vehicle I need to rent and location and then passed to the next operator and give all the information again and receive a reservation #, it would be nice if that information was put into the computer system so that I simply go to the pickup location and get the equipment - not spend another 45 minutes at the pickup location waiting to sign the paperwork! The first and second credit cards didn't work ???? so after offering a third one and reinputting all the detail again I finally was able to leave. Equipment was not in my area, I had to drive 60 miles round trip to get it and didn't have my checkbook with me nor enough cash - had the pickup been in my area I could have gone home and gotten my checkbook or cash.marilyn N.
