This was the second location U-Haul sent me to. The scheduled location did not have a truck! I have a letter that states there is a truck here for me and it is GUARANTEED for the time and date! What a joke! We drove approximately 30 miles out of our way to another location. U-Haul reservation system is no good! The only thanks I would say goes to John Martin at Danville that helped to locate another truck and location. I don't believe I will ever use U-Haul again!JAMES W.

This is a convenience store with one man trying to take care of customers buying gas, lottery tickets, cigarettes etc and making all of the Uhaul customers wait until he had a chance to go outside and check the vehicles in. His English is so bad that most of the customers I observed, couldn't understand him. He is trying to make money with to many things at this location.Diana H.

Worst customer service ever couldn't complete the closing of the contract for 18 hours after I dropped it off because employee said he didn't know how to close out contract then charged me$100 more after 18 hours of return of truck and spent a total of 2 hours there between pickup and drop off because was to to step to the side so they could deal with customers I will never use uhaul again and I am disputing the charges with my credit card companyMARKANTHONY S.

This location is also a gas station/convenience store. There is only 1 person working. He is doing check out, lottery tickets, etc. The entire pick up and drop off was chaotic. Long waits. I would not recommend this location at all.Brian W.

It was a small, gas station that did not have ample room at all for the truck to get in and out of. The employees were too busy running their gas station business to really help us much, never properly explaining how to operate the external functions of the truck or anything at all. Auto transport seemed severely neglected, we popped a tire due to dry rot.Jessica J.
One of the clerks at Smokers Choice tried to overcharge me twice, which both times I was not falling for his plans to gain extra profit off of me. The U-Haul truck had some debris in it, but I cleaned it out just so that I would not get charged for it. Due to issues that I've had with an U-Haul â€œmanagerâ€ by the name of Kendra and the Smokers Choice's company, I have decided to no longer give my money to anything affiliated with U-Haul not Smokers Choice.JOSALYNCHAVONNE W.

You should advise renters that they have to load the car themselves onto auto hauler. Risky for senior citizens! Not happy. I called customer service that day and was told someone would contact me to discuss concerns. Still waiting!christopher A.

I had made a reservation at 3:30 to pick up my truck at 5 with a customer server representative at U-Haul after being on the phone for 2 hours then when I get there the reservation that the lady supposedly made me over the phone wasn't even in the computer so then the gentleman had to make a whole new reservation for me and give me a 26-foot truck instead of a 20-foot truck like I originally had requested also it was supposed to be free of charge because of what happened on Wednesday and I still ended up having to pay $119.36 out of pocket I will be calling customer service tomorrow to get this fixedAUSTINWILLIAM P.

This specific gas station that rents out uhauls fails to thoroughly check the uhauls when returned. When I got my uhaul the gas was not completely full although on my copy of paperwork it started it was full. I didn't notice this issue until I left the parking lot. I mean when I rent something I would like to trust that it has been inspected from previous uses. It's not my job to make sure everything is how it's suppose to be before renting ; that is their job. So I took a photo of the mileage and the gas. The mileage was 3 miles off from where it was when I picked it up because I drove 3 miles before noticing. Well after I brought it back today I'm told I have to fill it all the way up and it's my fault that I didn't check the gas before I left the parking lot. After showing him the proof and him still disagreeing with me, I finally gave up because I realized they have my credit card information and can charge me whatever anyways. Also for the fact that he threatened to charge my card a fine for not filling it all the way up. So I filled the uhaul completely up and made sure he inspected correctly for the next person. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. But if you do decide to go here don't let them get over on you like they did me. Check EVERYTHING before pulling out that parking lot!Diana G.
