I originally had scheduled to pick up the 26 foot truck in Collinsville which is across the street from pick up location, when I arrived there were no trucks at all on the lot, I got no heads up from U-Haul. that they did not have a truck for me. Thankfully the smokers choice location had a 20 foot truck available, unfortunately we were not able to fit everything in since we really needed a 26 foot truck but it was close enough that we can get the rest with two cars. We did get a reduced rate on mileage, but we only put a total of 30 miles so it really wasn’t a big discount. So again, very happy that the smokers choice location at least had a truck we could use

Dwayne MThis location is a convenience store, only 1 person working, she was friendly and helpful but was also helping customers check out, so the rental process took longer than needed.
Kelly CI was called at 7:00am and told I had to be there by 7:30am or no one would be there to process the rental even though I had an appointment for 9:30am. Better than just not being there at 9:30, but aggravating. The guy in front of me at the pickup counter was being told he had to be back by 8:00am with the proper hitch to pick up a trailer when I got there. So I wasn’t the only one impacted. Store manager said he had requested all rentals be denied that day but Uhaul took the reservations anyway. I reserved the trailer for 24hrs. The app requested a pickup location but said drop off location was optional. When I got to the store, the manager said I had to return it to his store in 24hrs. I was headed to Wilmington NC. I wasn’t going to bring it back to his store. He canceled the reservation and started a new one to Wilmington. The price was more than double.
