Location was very unwelcoming and instead of being asked how I could be assisted, what I got was “What do you need boy”, let’s just say I’m a 61 year old man being addressed that way by one of the employees. Never have I ever been addressed that way. Smoky’s is a vape, tobacco and tobacco paraphernalia shop in a part of Milwaukee that can be uninviting if you’re not the right person. I was respectful, took care of my business and got the hell out of that area. As a retired Army veteran it took everything for me to hold back what I want to say. But total disrespect. I don’t care what color you are or where you come from, but if you don’t like me because of the color of my skin, so be it, but if this is what U-Haul wants for their customer service, shame on you. My overall experience sucked to say the least and when my son graduated from UWM in two years, I will not be using U-Haul. One last thing, the owner of the store took care of me after I requested a receipt once I got the truck checked in, I wasn’t leaving it at that location without one.

TEMPRIECE GThat location needs to fill their gas tanks. This is the second time I’ve (reluctantly) been directed to that location and both times I have received my tank empty. Also training that employee to be direct when asked questions regarding your switch from renting “20 ft trailers” to “20 ft trucks”. He evaded my question and forced the sale when I found out it was no longer a 20 foot trailer, but a 20’ truck with no gas in it ◡̈

ROBERT TI was charged a fuel fee plus extra for fuel when I brought the truck back with approximately the same fuel that it had when I took the truck. I only went 3 miles. I believe that's why they don't accept cash so they could charge people extra for no reason.

Lavina JThe trucks Gas gauge was broken so when I got it and went to fill it up it cost my like $30, then I filled it up again 2 other times before dropping it off (stayed under the miles I payed for) but they want to charge me and extra $57. The back was filthy leaves and dirt and dust everywhere. The front was even worse bad smell, dirt and other crap in the cup holder, papers and other garbage laying around took me and extra 30 min. To throw away.
