The only reason I'm giving this location a low rating is because Uhaul didn't coordinate with them at all. They were pleasant and did what they could. I received an email the night before my reservation saying "We have a Cargo Van reserved for you and guaranteed Saturday, 9/19/2020 at 11:30 AM. We are located at 5061 BEECH PL, TEMPLE HILLS,MD 20748 and our phone number is (240) 312-2885." - When I arrived at the location, they said that I needed to call to confirm and the truck that was there was already sent out for the day. Thankfully they had another truck we could use, but there was a lot of initial confusion. Also, I selected an initial location and was sent 10 miles south to pick this truck up. I had an extra 14 or 15 miles at the end of the trip which I don't think you should charge for. You sent me 10 miles south because you didn't have a truck available at the location that I initially suggested that was close to my apartment. After that experience, it's really unlikely that i'll use Uhaul again.Paul R.

It was originally supposed to get the UHaul from Capitol Hill. However, I was moved to Temple Hills, MD. I asked UHaul multiple times for a credit of some sort because I had to take an Uber to the Temple Hills location. No one would give me a credit and customer service could care less. The woman at Snapbox was great. I should have rented directly from her. UHaul itself seems like a mess. The trick was also loud and the alignment was off as it pulled to the left the entire 14 hour drive.Liza F.

The rental that I had was clean, however I had time bring the vehicle back much earlier than expected and try to find another way to move my things because the truck maintenance was unkept the transmission felt like it was about to go, I was afraid the truck was going to break down on me and I would be left on the side of the road. The truck wasn't safe at all.Asa W.

My drop off location was changed (via email) with no notifications or call) after I dropped it off and placed the key in the lock box. I had to call the rep to have her change my drop location back to Beech Road, sot hat I would not be charged. For that person she receives 5 stars. My overall experience was just ok. If the locations for pick up and drop off wasn't changed, without notification, maybe better rating.Deitra W.

The truck I was given was nasty on the inside of cab and the box of the truck!! I did not like the fact the truck was a V8 which used more gas and no loading ramp on the back of the truck!! I was not satisfied at all with this rental. If you can tell from my records i have been using y'all a lot lately! Moving my grandma from PA TO Maryland has been hard enough. Front desk agent was very professional and helpful. The vehicle I picked was decided according to the description of Apartment/studio. But by the time I got my full bed mattress on there it wasn't much left. So lesson learned on my part. But other then that thank youDeyonna P.
The lady who helped at this location was very nice, helpful and apologetic after having a very frustrating/angering experience with renting. I was given a confirmation weeks before moving for rental truck at a location less than 10 miles away but was forced to find a ride to this location over 40 miles away. I was informed the day before pickup that my original reservation was not going to be honored only After calling a second time to confirm. Thank goodness for Uber or I would never have been able to get to the pickup or make trip from DC to NC as planned. Would have given 5 stars but was sold a lock to secure the door that didn't fit and had to buy a second lock.Kimberly S.

The staff was not very helpful, I checked in online thinking the process would be expedited but I was asked for all the same information again, like I was making a new reservation. Once this process was complete the agent simply pointed at the rusty damaged trailer and said that's yours. There was no assistance with hooking it up or even making sure the lights work. Location was fine but overall pickup experience was terrible. Changed my pick up location at the last minute and delayed the pickup by 3 hours- completely ruined my moving schedule and had to make significant changes to other plans. Would NOT recommend trusting U-Haul to honor reservation and customer service was the least helpful service I have ever received - no understanding and no adjustments were made. Will never use U-Haul again because I cannot trust that my reservation will be honored.John T.

Make it user-friendly. I had to go up and down the hill in the middle of a very unfamiliar place. I had to follow my I-phone as if I was playing a game. I quickly felt sorry for anyone who does not have a smartphone and happen to leave their license in the car. I purposely called my order to avoid all those wait and due process. Highly disappointed in such ill-equipped service. This new thing is a recipe for disaster. I could have gone to a full-service place and get a better and safer and faster service. This was an uncalled for service. Yikes! What if the ice was still on the ground? I would have had to crawl on my hands back anf forth down that steep hill to verify the vehicle and back to retrieve a code......Exposing my lively hood was not funny...you are not ready for self-serviceMARIE L.

I made my reservation through the 1 800 number. The company needs to ensure they communicate the reservation, with the actual location your renting the vehicle from. When I got to that location, no trucks were available. I had to resort to a CARGO VAN, which forced me to make an additional trip, which I am still trying to get reimbursed for. Apparently he overbooked and I was given a vehicle which was on the lot that was for sale. It did not have a u-hall paint job, the doors were ready to fall off, the engine ticked like an bomb ready to explode, the brakes went all the way to the floor, there were safety belts but no latches, and he had the personality of a snail. No I would not recommend u-hall if this is the service you provide. I don't understand why I had to pay full U-hall price when it wasn't even a u-hall!CONNIE S.
