Nancy BOther than returning tttruck w same amount of gas3/8 and not 1/2 full i got charge 20 bucks and so will the next customer believing the same , return truck w same amount ,I have photo of miles and tank at 3/8 .so some one should use $20 and put the right amount of gas but they don't hope's the next renter will do same gas scammed out of 20 bucks.

I tried asking questions and I would get cut off and told I need to follow a link every time I tried asking a question. She never helped answer any of my questions. The truck was very dirty inside and out at the time of check out.

ascencion mIt always seems like they only have apartment movers. Maybe get them some bigger trucks.

JOSEPH DThe truck I rented was not available, had to take a smaller truck because that’s all that was available. They kept telling me my reservation was unfortunately not ready at 9:30am so I waited till 10am when they opened. Then told me the truck I ordered wasn’t ready till 11:30. Ridiculous I made them give me an available smaller truck, people don’t have time to wait around when they make a RESERVATION!!!

Billy JI have been using Uhaul for a long time. My experience with this location was by far the worse experience. Not only was this location horrible, but so was customer service dealing with drop of location.

MARIBEL Athere was no gas in the truck, so they assigned another truck. that one only had less than a 1/4 of a tank. they did not do the overall check of the truck. i gave them $100 deposit and they charged me wrong now they are trying to charge me another 12 dollars added to keeping my 100 dollars. they give uhaul a bad name

michael eFirst off, there was only a 1/8 of gas in the tank. The u haul I rented was leaking gas so I didn't even get to finish moving had to park it immediately so it could be towed and they still charged me. This was a complete inconvenience and hazard for me my passenger and others that were on the road. I'm demanding a reimbursement for the gas I put in and the lack of maintenance on the u-haul that left me loading my car. I would like a complete refund for the waste of time and money.
Jacob CThe rental we were given had absolutely no gas the light was ON and the gage was well below the E. I took a photo for records due to the fact the representative didn’t explain the verification process at all. And I didn’t understand how to update a new photo till I got to the next question. I put $30 worth of gas in the rental to drive a distance of 18 mile each way for what I needed. The gas light never turned off and it remained in E. The only way I know I wouldn’t run out of gas was by how many gallons $30 gave me and calculating the miles per gallon on the rental. When I return it the same representative had another women go inspect the vehicle and come back to tell me I had to put more gas in it. I showed her the photo I took prior to leaving the premises and she made a phone call to someone else explaining the situation. Then she told me my total for the miles I used, never explained that who ever she spoke too approved my photo as proof of how much gas was in it when I got it. I had to ask to make sure I wasn’t charged any fees for that. Overall I feel like if the original rep would of explain the verification better this could of been prevented. This was my first time using uhaul and I was unclear how the process worked. If I had not had that photo as proof I would of had to put gas to the last record on the rental which was well over half of a tank. At the prices gas is now that would of been more than the entire rental Cost I paid. That was bad experience for me. And makes me wary of renting ever again for here

Luis SReservation was for 8AM via truckshare 24/7 pickup so I scheduled movers for 8AM considering my house was 5 minutes or less to the pick up location. I went to pick up the truck a little early at around 7:45 and was told they don’t give out keys til 10am so now I drive back home while on hold to speak to customer service to get my uhaul as soon as possible as movers are paid by the hour not by when they start. I was transferred three different times to be told my rental wasn’t staged for pick and that was the problem so I could get it at 10 AM or they could find another one nearby hopefully so I chose that option but since none were available they had the area manager reach out to see if they could get me my keys asap. I was told to go back to the uhaul pick up location and they would let me have my keys. So I go back and am once again told by the woman working quote “Didn’t I tell you we don’t give out keys til 10am?” To which I replied I was told to come back and the problem was fixed so I could get my keys. She proceeded to lie to me telling me the woman whom has access to the keys doesn’t show up til after 10am so she couldn’t help me. At this point I was quite upset as it was almost 9AM so I stood there on hold for customer service because I wasn’t gonna leave to be told to once again return. As the woman sees me on the phone she pulls out a box with all the keys and asks me for my name which I give her and she now states she can give me the keys but I’m not in the system as pickup ready and once again the woman whom can input all my card info and everything doesn’t come until after 10AM. So I remain on the phone until I reach someone whom reached out to the area manager whom then calls the location to speak to the woman there. In Spanish as if I didn’t understand she proceeds to tell him I’m being rude and she can’t give me the keys because I won’t give her my information so I speak with the area manager whom proceeds to ask me why I won’t give her my information to which I confusingly responded I have no problem giving her whatever info will get me my uhaul. I tell him she told me she didn’t have the keys or computer access. He then briefly speaks to her on the phone before she hangs up and proceeds to not only give me my keys(which she told me she didn’t have access to) then put my info in the system (she also lied about not having access.) By the time I drove off with my Uhaul it was a little past nine and I had just paid movers for an hour of waiting around. The location is El Sombrero in Colton ca and apparently this is a recurring issue at this location.
Brandon QIt was wonderful of the attendant to recommend to rent out the U-haul for the 24 hours or I could have been charged for an additional day if not returned on time.

Given the fact that it was our last move since 2012 and that time Dad was alive and in charge of everything, including being the Driver, Mom and I were quite anxious and nervous, especially me... being the Driver... it was a wonderful experience and day. The folks at this particular UHaul place made the whole experience memorable and enjoyable. Thank you ALL so very much! God bless...
