While moving we determined we needed a second big truck . I went in and rented the second truck. As I started to leave St George, I realized the truck was not full of Gas. I made it to Cedar City and filled up. The amount of gas I put in was 30 gallons. I feel you owe me the half tank of Gas I had to buy. Please make this right. I rented the truck under James Cahoon and picked it up Friday Evening just before 5pm.

A/C didn't work and not only did it not work but blew hot air on feet and face with control turned to cool and controls turned off! It was a very miserable experience riding with the window open when it's freezing outside to prevent from burning up in the cab!

We were blown away by the incredible rental price - other rental co's were charging 3 to 5 x as much! We initially reserved a 20' truck but realized we wouldn't need one that big, so Brent quickly procured a smaller truck for us. Prompt friendly service. Kudos to Brent!

Do a thorough inspection. The overdrive button fell off when I went to engage it. So no overdrive. Used more fuel that way. Had to put in two quarts of oil 3/4 way of our trip.

Uhaul should offer a customer that drove there alone to pick up a truck and trailer assistance loading their car onto the trailer so they can actually leave your store driving the truck with their vehicle safely loaded. I'm a 53 year old female that had never loaded a car on to a trailer and I wouldn't have minded paying for that, but it wasn't even an option, the guy was like okay, here you go, and kind of showed me what I needed to do but I felt like he had a sorry, I don't care if you've never done this before, you're on your own attitude. Lucky me, I was able to figure it out and get it home safely, but at one point there was a really loud noise and I didn't know what happened, turn out the hand truck or "dolly" that I rented wasn't even secured in the back of the truck, so when I hit the brakes the first time it had tipped over, my boyfriend told me all he had to do was put it in there upside down and that wouldn't have happened. Like I said, he had an I don't care attitude.

The guy at the counter was a jerk about me using the online check in. He complained the whole time that he was checking me out. The online check in worked great, until I had to deal with the guy at the counter.

Both agents were very helpful and professional! One gentleman hooked up the trailer for me (I'm a novice at this trailer-towing business). The only thing I wish we had done BEFORE I left was to check the brake lights and turn signals on the trailer. I could check the latter myself, but not the brake lights, and it concerned me a little that I might get rear-ended if the lights were not working. I didn't think of this until I had already left the store.

I asked three times to check out the truck and he said he will when he has time. Personally I think it was just too lazy to get out of his chair. It is people like him that will influence my next rental whether I'll go with u haul or someone else

The cost of renting the trailer to make the 550 mile trip from St. George, UT to Rexburg, ID was outrageous. I know the dealer has nothing to do with pricing, but the corporation needs to take a look at this when we could have gone to Oklahoma City for $60.00.

Would have been nice to have the flexibility to do the estimated "prepay" over the phone. You wouldn't accept my credit card over the phone, but had to do it in person. I also had reserved online and requested the insurance and nothing else, yet somehow I didn't get the insurance and I got a dolly and moving blankets. Thankfully the person serving is asked about the insurance so we were still able to get it and they took back the dolly and blankets, no problem. Otherwise all went well, thank you.

Upon arrival I was told to unhook the car and pull off the dolly. I asked if someone could get underneath and unhook the chains for me. With hesitation the gentleman said he would be out in a minute. By the time he arrived I had already started the job , he finally arrived to help. A couple hours later we returned the truck, the gentleman didn't even come out of his office, just asked if we put gas in it and leave the key on the counter.

After waiting 10 minutes for the person to help me (there were no other customers) he told me to park the truck in the lot and took the keys. No inspection of fuel level or condition of truck. Fortunately I swept out the truck, caused no damage, and filled the truck back to full as agreed. Did not represent UHaul as well as Front Range Self Storage.

The person at the location met me outside the building. I didn't even get inside. I told him that I was returning the trailer to this location. He said he didn't have room to take the trailer, even though I told him that this was the assigned drop off point. He told me to go up Sunset to another location to drop off the trailer. I asked him what happens if no one in St. George would accept the trailer. He told me to call the 800 number. I did take the trailer to Southern Utah Auto Tech and they took the trailer, even though they weren't the assigned drop off point. Southern Utah Auto Tech was very helpful.

I reserved a truck 3 weeks in advance. The day before my pickup date, a person called to inform me there are no trucks available. I had to work it out to pick up a truck 375 miles away and drive it back. Over $100 dollars in extra fuel was required to do this with no compensation from U-Haul. U-Haul even tried to charge me an extra $103 for the extra miles I put on the truck. Seriously!! I would not recommend U-Haul to anyone. I am sticking with Penske from now on.

Horrible customer service! Had to get two trucks when we needed a big truck and reserved the biggest truck. I also felt auto transport was not safe at all! The tail light on the left did not work also there was only one chain for front left no left sided chains. Could not believe the sh@t I had to go thru from having two friggin trucks!!!!

When we booked our truck we were told we qualified for a free month at a storage facility. We added that to our order so we could store our items as we continued to search for an apartment. No where in the ad or confirmation email I was sent did it say our first month wasn't free. We didn't find out until we went to move in. When we went to drop off our truck they didn't ask for any paperwork, id, etc. Didn't even ask our name or anything. I'll never use Uhaul again.
