First off, the lady who helped me (can't remember her name) was absolutely amazing. Very friendly, very accommodating, and personable. Wonderful experience from her and she needs to be recognized for that. I'm thinking the van I choose (due to height limitations) was just returned and didn't fully go through your cleaning and checking process. When I got the keys and looked inside, it was extremely dirty, full of empty bottles and cans, and the back cargo area was fully of spilled liquid and salt/sand? I went in and the told the lady, and came out, apologized and swept the back and mopped which help a little bit, but after the cleaning solution dried it was still quite dirty. She mentioned it was just returned so perhaps my choice of that model wasn't the best idea but did allow me to move properly in the height restricted areas I needed.

I am very frustrated. I turned in my uhaul a day early and now they have charged me for another week or so... after 5 differetrn calls, I am concered they did not get this right. I will NEVER do remote check in and drop off again... very sad as my first expereice was great (as I have rented before from uhaul). frustrated!!!

The interior wasn't as clean as it could have been. It seems somebody had ate and left a fries in there. Also, it was a bit of a pain that they were sold out of furniture pads. If I had needed them it would've postponed my move. I would recommend to keep more moving equipment stocked since this seems to be a busy location.

Returning the vehicle was a hassle. There were 2 guys sitting at a desk inside without a single customer, but I had to go outside, scan a QR code, open the app, enter all my info, and then put the key in a drop box. In spite of checking in with them after that to make sure I was good, I got THREE calls the next day asking where the van was and if I had returned it. Process is broken. Human touch is needed.

I made a reservation for one location which was changed at the last minute to another location. When I reached the 2nd location, I was told I would need to got to a 3rd location to get the rest of the equipment! Ridiculous. Then charged storage fee for not returning to 2 different locations after uhaul changed the location.

Very expensive for rather poor quality vehicles. The per mile charge plus having to pay for gas is way to costly for what is recieved,l. I'll be renting from somewhere with nicer vehicles for less next time. Staff is nice though.

One. My move was ruined. I am handicapped. I told the location I needed a van not a truck. They rushed out before I could address it and not only did it prolong my move it cost me the help I needed and pushed my friends move out date which cost her more money. I will never rent from you all again.

We drove over 500 miles only to find out the U Haul computer system was down and we could not get a trailer at the location we reserved. While U Haul customer service eventually found a location with a trailer for us, it delayed our departure by 2.5 hrs. U Haul did give a discount, so that was nice. But ultimately, your company is quick to send me emails and messages I did not ask for. It just seems I could have gotten a message informing me of the problem before I went through all the run around in Atlanta. Be better!

Truck that was assigned had chips and napkins all over the floor and clumps of cigarette ashes all over the cup holder and dashboard. It was disgusting. I've never been assigned a rental that was so dirty. I had a reservation for 10 AM on Saturday morning. Why aren't the trucks cleaned prior to rental?

Keyona was extremely attentive and professional. She's always there to make my returning the equipment drama-free, especially when my phone isn't. Thanks again, Keyona :-) The young lady who I received the truck from was professional as well, but I didn't remember her name. Even the young men working at this location are phenomenal. To place the icing on the cake, this is a one-stop shoppe. I can rent a truck and space without leaving the building. Great business collaboration!

I was charged a $20 ‘after hours’ fee because I dropped the van off at 9:25am and the guy at the counter wouldn’t open the door and told me to put the keys in the outside box. That is absurd and I was not informed on this

The truck was newer and nice but we didnt open and look.in the rear. It had 25-30 blankets that were wet. We had to take them out to load our items then put them back in I don’t think the staff was doing their job and they weren’t very helpful.

There are key holders by the uhaul parking - signs indicating that the uhaul keys should be on a drop box would be helpful! This could lead to the keys being left in an inappropriate space . Otherwise , quick and easy. No complaints .

When I booked my U-Haul I was advised that a 10 x 10 would be sufficient for a 1 bedroom apartment without any white goods. When I picked up the U-Haul I asked again if this was the appropriate size. I was told yes. IT WASNT. We had to make two trips to the storage unit adding extra hours along with moving costs. This is not acceptable and your staff should be appropriately trained.

Cons: Very difficult parking situation stressful to say the least, and very confusing on drop off and pick up methods . Recommend informing customers that they may have two different locations for equipment and truck and prepare them for it! Inform them how it's separate businesses that is used just for location that just checks u in and out, if that or just drop key off method & that U-haul is not onsite! Had to call multiple times to understand the process. Even though the price was great just the customer service/process alone will have you pay extra to use another company. Also the price that was booked that says "due at pick up" was incorrect the price actually is higher. So very frustrating to think you have booked somethin for a certain price that it states and then end up paying more than expected. $35 extra just fees that is not told up front, so maybe inform customers as well you will likely pay more at the time when you actually pick up. Just for "fees" not taxes etc the normal stuff. Pros: Customer service was helpful, when I called many times & was very fast and easy to get a hold of a representative so that was nice. & again pricing was the best by far for what we utilized!

I was told by the on site employee that the $15 safe move insurance purchase was mandatory to rent at this location, however the operator that I spoke to later said that it was not. Also the on site employee insisted that I use the app to check in the returned vehicle instead of him checking me in on site.

You improved already by hiring excellent front desk people. They were helpful and courteous! Means a lot and is appreciated. Your previous front desk reps had attitudes, didn’t help much and frankly a turnoff from a service perspective.

Personnel at this facility were very professional and helpful. Truck was in good condition, however the lack of a backup camera on such a large vehicle without a rear-view mirror in 2025 seems unconscionable and foolish - both for the convenience of customers and for protection of the truck from accidents when backing up. Backing up, especially into a trafficked roadway, always required 1 or ideally 2 individuals to get out and assist with the process, due to lack of a camera and sensors as included in basically all modern vehicles in 2025.

I rented a truck and I pulled up my car to it unloaded my car into the truck got ready to leave the location and the back door of the truck wouldn’t close it was literally broken so I spent 45 minutes loading a truck but then a person came out and said oh no you need a new truck and then didn’t help her offer any assistance so I had to spend an hour and a half then putting the stuff that I just unloaded into the other truck into the new truck so they said I could get a discount which obviously I didn’t get and today when I was returning the truck they were extremely rude my phone died and they didn’t offer a charging cord what you guys should have at each office and so I had to drive 30 minutes one way and then come back there to return the truck again the service was awful and the equipment was in bad condition clearly that truck shouldn’t be rentable if the back door doesn’t work

The truck was dirty by my standards, but perfectly acceptable to the location. I immediately called to report a bent windshield wiper, explaining that it threatened to scratch the windshield, but UHaul told me to use the truck as-is for my 1500 mile trip and they would check it out later. If that had been my personal vehicle, I would have replaced the wiper before starting on such a trip.

Very rude and short with customers. I didn’t want to check myself out. I was told I was getting a $24 credit back due to the low fuel I received when picking up. He said they don’t have trash cans for customers to use and we have to take with us. I will never go to that location again.

When I went to pick up my first trailer that I reserved over a month ago, I was told they didn’t have a truck for me and basically to figure it out and nothing they could do about it. No discounts, no support, nothing. I was fortunate that after 2 hours of trying to find a backup option that this store had options but incredibly disappointed we lost 2 hours of moving time as a result.

Get your equipment inventory sorted out. Crazy that we are able to preorder blankets, trolleys, etc. on the website, only to find out there are not any available. This is highly inconvenient and throws wrench in planning and logistics.

The app is super disappointing you should give a heads up about all the things that will be needed to finish the transaction there is a list of about 50 things that you need to know in advance when you think it's going to be an easy return it is not. Also please get your team some air conditioning in the office it was unfair them and customers to have to wait and work in the heat.
