Turns out that was my truck because the one I got was the one with food in it. I was in a hurry otherwise I would have asked to switch it out.

LEE FMade reservation to rent van for 2 hours @ $19.99 + $1.09/mile, waived SafeRide insurance as I was driving 1 mile down the road and back. Employee looked at me like I was an idiot when I said I didn’t want the insurance and said it was required, even though it was clearly optional when making the reservation. Have used this location at least twice in the past and unless I get the $15 back for the insurance I won’t be returning after this experience from rude employee.

PATRICK DThis is the second time this month I have used this U-Haul location for a move. Neither time has the location been able to supply me with the moving supplies I reserved. When I arrived at the front counter (as soon as the store opened) I was told that the supplies are first come first served (which does not appear anywhere on the website or app when booking). Both times I have had to move furniture without dollies or other equipment. If you are able to use a separate U-Haul location I recommend looking elsewhere.

George BI was really concerned because when I checked in I was not given the directions to do all these steps before leaving the lot. I was charged at the desk, asked about miles needed and then given the key and confirmed when I would return. When I got back is when I was told I needed to check the truck back in via the app but I had never checked the truck out. Plus, when I took the image of the odometer it said I had traveled over 58k miles, even though I only had it 2 hours. When they realized I didn't do the steps in the front end they just told me to drop the keys in the box. i just worry that I am going to be charged wrongly but they promised I wouldn't be.

GASTON MI have used UHaul numerous times over the last 15+ years and the staff at this location have by far been the best and most memorable for how friendly they are. They make you feel welcome and just not another customer.

All she said was “scan the code”. When the website did not work for me she got irritated and did not help. It is just not very hard to be polite.

ARMONDE Bat pickup, i was there for close to an hour and went through 4 trucks before i finally got one that was road-worthy. The first one was blocked in by another truck, the second was that truck blocking the other but had a problem with the parking brake not disengaging, and the third had a huge gash in the side of the tire - you could see the radials through the sidewall. Then the computers went down and I had to just wait. I finally ended up with the truck i should have had originally. The staff were friendly and accommodating, but they were challenged with multiple trucks not being properly serviced and ready to rent.
WENDY BThe truck I was given was behind another truck. Instead of immediately helping me they helped someone else and told me they would be out in a minute. After I had waiting 15 minutes outside I went back in and reminded her that I wasiting. The lady at the front desk was condescending. I will never rent from this location again based on the treatment I got from the person at the front desk.
RUSSELL BWhile I did my self check-out inspection, I noted that the vehicle was clean. However, here I note that it wasn't because it wasn't well maintained. The vehicle has a lot of wear and tear and a tire maintenance message showed on the dash. When I checked out the truck no one mention your extra fuel fee of $30 nor went over anything with me regarding rental except when I asked how $19.99 a day went up to $52.65. That's when the young lady noted the breakdown of charges. Nor did they even walk me to the vehicle, they just pointed outside and said it's in row D. I wonder around outside due to the fact that the letters on the pavement were mostly all faded away. I don't remember Uhaul charging for milage intown as I have used Uhaul for my past moves. When I returned the truck I was tired as fuck. Two gentleman greeting me friendly when I walked in and then asked if I completed the self check-in. I said no and that I was tired as fuck and wore out. They said give us a Google review and we can do it for you. They mentioned credit for any mileage not used but didn't say ANYTHING about gas charges when I said "and gas not filled". I gave the two gentleman a 5 star review just for doing the return inspection. However, no one at this location really did anything to warrant a positive review, especially not 5 stars. There was no real customer service here. I understand I didn't fill gas tank back to where it was, because I didn't use that much and I was also in time crunch to get the truck back on time. I understand paying your fuel cost but a fuel fee of $30 on top of that is really excessive and ridiculous. You can be assured I will not use Uhaul in the future! Very unhappy and disappointed with this service. It shouldn't have cost $111 for a 10 ft truck using 30 miles.

RAS-TALAWA TI reserved a 15 ft. truck, a dozen pads, and a dolly. When I arrived, there were no 15 ft. trucks or pads available. I was given a 26 ft. truck at the same price, but there was broken glass by the driver's side door and in the cargo area. The second 26 ft. truck was good. The wheels on the dolly were caked with dried mud. The personal at this location were kind and considerate.

DAVID GWhile the staff was friendly enough I wasn't aware that this was not a actual U-haul location and they seemed unwilling to help they didn't have the things I had reserved like the pads and the Dolly so I had to go to another location to find those And the truck had not been swept out properly

BRIDGETT FThis location was the most disorganized i’ve ever experienced. I ran into several issues during my rental. To start. I was scheduled to pick up the truck at 10, but when I arrived, I was told I needed to wait until noon to get the truck. This had major implications on the movers that I hired, and I ended up wasting two hours of their time because we did not have a truck. Second when I went back at noon to pick up the truck. I was told that the reservation had been canceled and switched to a new location. I had to go back and reinstate the reservation so that I was able to pick up the truck. finally, I received a call yesterday saying that my truck had not been returned and there was a chance that I would be charged for all of the days. Thankfully, I wasn’t charged, but yet again the fact that they did not have record of me returning the truck shows incredible disorganization. I will never use this location again and will very unlikely use U-Haul again.

Beverly LThe equipment I requested online was not available and I wasn’t notified until I came to pick it up. Causing me to delay my move by 2-3 hours so I could find additional equipment. I ended up paying more than anticipated and filled the gas tank up more than was required. Wouldn’t rent from this location again.
ARIEL BBoth trucks that were assigned to me did not start. The second truck required UHaul roadside assistance. The help came quickly and got me up and running, but it made the overall experience longer and more arduous than it needed to be. The staff was great, but the trucks sucked.

MAKYRA FI made a reservation for a uhaul truck with a Dolly. I got there and there were no dollies. Obviously, I needed one since I was moving large appliances. I had to drive to b another location (further from my destination) to get a dollie, and then was told I may have to return it separately. Very frustrating given that I was short on time and you charge by the mile considering how your lack of inventory is what caused me to drive the most miles outside my b intended route. Moral of the story- make sure your inventory is up to date with your reservation system so you aren't inconvencing people on the spot.
TURHAN BDespite the hard-working counter agents, the check-in process was entirely too long, with over an hour of standing in line. The cargo van was filthy, inside and out , with no washer fluid to clean the windshield, and the backup camera was broken and hanging off the back of the van. I had to tape it up to keep out of the way.
THOMAS AThere was a slight hiccup with the furniture pads but the kind lady at the desk did all that she could to make it right and was very helpful in resolving the issue. Checking out and checking back in was a very smooth and fast process. I would definitely rent from this location again. Thanks!

WILLIAM WThe person renting the truck to me was extremely helpful and friendly. The mileage out was incorrect and I wasn't able to use the app to record the correct mileage. I didn't realize that I didn't use the app correctly and the mileage out I thought I recorded didn't save.
CELIA TXavier made our experience with this location go so smooth and easy. Fast in and out helped with any questions I had since this was my first time ever using U-Haul. It was self service location but he there every step of the rental. Highly recommend this location because of him and the huge selection. Will definitely be coming back and recommend to others.

KE'ONNA KIt was raining very lightly when I pulled the truck in and parked it where it would be easy for the U-Haul employees to put it where they wanted it. I went inside to return the key. I was told to keep the key as I would be the one to put it where they wanted it. I thought this was a little strange but I did it. I was told by the U-Haul employees that I was not done. I had to scan something and download it into my phone. I was then told to go back outside and follow the instructions in the app. I was also told to turn on my location services so the app could register where I was even though I was standing in a U-Haul facility. I had to start the truck again and take a picture of the info the dash was providing. Then take pictures of the rest of the cab. Then the cargo area of the truck. Then all around the outside of the truck. I felt like I needed to be on the U-Haul payroll. Penske did not make me do any of this. I know where I will be going the next time I need a truck.
ALAN JAmazing. The young lady that helped me was great, parient, and personable. She explained everything to me and even was patient when I got upset about the undisclosed fees assessed (taxes and ect...). She made my day so so much better.
SEMONA SI continue to be charged daily for the vehicle that I returned. Phone number does not work for me to talk to anyone to resolve the issue. I was also charged 3x extra for moving pads and extra for gas that in already refilled the tank with.
HEATHER SPlease have all items reserved by a customer. You should not tell customers that items reserved when reservations were made are unavailable because they were taken by earlier customers. You should start the day by removing all reserved items - and if they are not available at the location, either you get one from another location or give the customer a heads up so that their plans are not disorganized. I had to pay extra hours to the movers because the furniture dolly i requested and booked wasn't provided at pick up.
OSAMUDIAMHEN EYou fucking assholes sent me a bill stating that I had a U-Haul for an entire week when I only had it for a day. You tried to charge me an extra $500. 0/10 would never recommend.

India SAll items were directed to "in app" only, although there was an associate there. Would not process return. However, when another more familiar renter came in, the agent manually processed the return while I still stood there trying to use the app for return.
LEN RTruck cabin was filled with trash/food crumbs we had to throw out, check in process was annoying & it would have been helpful to know the process ahead of time (such as needing another person willing to answer the phone)
