You can start by cleaning your vehicles before renting them out to customers. I was charged $75 because the company failed to clean the van ahead of my rental, and therefore I was charged a cleaning fee for something which I was not involved with. I will not return to this location and will recommend friends & family avoid it as well.

I booked online and I was never told that if it was my first time booking I needed extra ID or another person as surety. Make this clear on your website at the time of booking so one don't get stuck at pickup location.

I wish the online truck share worked better. I have an unusual driver's licence --military expiration, old, with no bar codes. I couldn't pick up the vehicle because there was no online personal assistance. Luckily, an area manager drove by as I was leaving and helped me out.

The tank was 3/4 and not 7/8. I filled the tank according to what it was in the truck. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture before leaving the place, a lesson learned for the next time.

Your online app service is absolutely terrible. My ID was cracked a little bit in the top right corner, and the app said it could not verify... Because of a tiny crack... All the licence information was clearly visible. In reality, there was no problem with it. As I was trying to resolve the situation, the person on the chat line was ignoring me for several minutes and after 10-15 minutes, called me and told me I needed another driver, even when I told her that wasn't possible. I waited an additional 30 minutes at the location for the place to open. The woman behind the desk quickly got me ready to go when she arrived. She was great. Your app service was NOT.

The truck could have been cleaner in regard to COVID-19 practices. Also some information regarding traveling with a commercial vehicle in regards to parkways would be helpful.

Though there were SEVERAL technical difficulties, between digitally signing contracts, uploading license photos, and even the reservation as a whole, the staff was INCREDIBLE and helped us work through the issues in a low-stress environment.

I was scheduled to pick up a van at 8am. First the time was changed to 8:30 without any notification, in order to pickup the keys in the office, which opens at 10am! After calling U-Haul I was asked to check the key box and was given a code. Unfortunately no keys were there and I lost two precious hours despite a well plan ahead reservation.

There was a warning light that said you need to replace the tire pressure sensor. Also, I don't really like the new system where I have to check for damage ahead of time and then take photos and fill out forms online. That should be your job. The gas tanks should also always be filled to full so the customers don't end up wasting money at the gas station.

I requested and was charged $15 for furniture pads but did not receive them. I sent several text messages, which they provide to dispute charges, to request a refund and never got a response or refunded. Now I have to go through the trouble of contacting someone by phone in order to get a refund.

It was my first time renting a van. The office told me to refill the gas tank but it was hard to gadge when it was on a quarter tank. I foolishly fooled the gas tank to full and spent $60, when I asked for the difference they said it was clear in the contract. They should fill the tank and let the people fill the tank rather than guessing. I was disappointed for their lack of clarity.

The self-sign in app was not working properly but the on site staff was very nice and helpful. They took care of the reservation without hesitation. Please fix the app!! This is the second time it didn't work. It freezes up upon sign-in. Thank goodness for the lovely ladies who helped me!

The 10ft truck did not have a ramp. The side mirrors were so dirty that it would have been reckless to operate vehicle. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY: THE SIDE VIEW MIRRORS COULD NOT BE ADJUSTED. THEY KEPT SNAPPING BACK TO SAME POSITION. I will never drive another Uhaul vehicle with mirrors that don't adjust. It was uncomfortably dangerous. It's stressful enough to drive an unfamiliar large vehicle, but especially so when standard safety accessories are non working. A scary drive for me. The office staff were excellent and helpful. The maintenance staff needs consideration.

It was not an easy process. The customer service was horrendous. However, the manager could not have been more helpful to expedite the process. However the day of the move was horrendous. And the staff although helpful were not worthy of praise

Windshield wiper was horrible. Was actually dangerous in the rain. If I had seen an attendant when I dropped the truck off I would have let him know about it. Shame you charged me an extra 9 dollars for mileage. Gave you extra gas also. 9$ really?

The key drop box directs clients when returning vehicle after hours to go on line to a Uhaul web site to complete the return paperwork. Turns out that web site seems to be discontinued. Might want to look into that. The staff was great when we picked up the vehicle.

I though the location would be open when i arrived. Saturday is a popular moving day, very surprised they closed. I wasn't prepared to do it all on my phone because i was under the impression a human would be there to help me. The mobile situation was very difficult and took 45 minutes.

This was the second facility and not my original booking which was a total nightmare. The uhaul manager at Cortlandt was rude, hostile and represents a serious issue waiting to happen.

The location was unmanned. The problem was the app! The Uhaul app would not complete my registration, even after chatting online with a help specialist. After five tries and resetting my password, I could log in, but when I was using the Return process in the app, which requires location mapping and uploading several photos, the app crashed three times over, which was a frustrating waste of time!!!

It was a little confusing to actually find the truck. It was off in an area not around all of the other UHauls. I was not giving the proper tools I paid for. I didn't realize until after I got to my destination since this was a mobile pick up. It made my move way more difficult than I had intended.

Did not get the vehicle size I requested, but the lady attending my booking was gracious and went out of her way to help me in the given scenario, which helped in meeting my schedule with the moving help I had booked.
