The owners did not know how to operate the system/website very well, may have been more the website's fault than theirs. I myself had many issues with the uhaul website. I had to come behind the counter and help them with it.Sean B.

My booking was with Uhaul of Regina. When I arrived there, they didn't have a truck, and I was redirected to Spunkys. Spunkys did not understand how to rent me a truck, they required me to enter my credit card information on their personal computer, and then they entered the dates of my rental incorrectly, causing me to be overcharged at my destination. They should not be renting out uhaul trucks.Brett H.
Awful communication with the employees. Couldn't speak English and obvious that they had never rented a uhaul/had no idea what they were doing. Took over an hour at location even with existing reservation and I paid ahead of timeCaitlin P.
I am not sure about the reason, but when I got the truck the UHaul system only gave four return sites for the truck I rented. This meant I had to travel a long distance to return the truck when then were several UHaul locations that were closer.Rodney H.

The UHaul was covered in bugs on the exterior and there was wrappers in the drink holders in the interior. The gentleman that runs this particular depot could use some training on the UHaul checkout and check in software as it took easily 2-3 times longer than my usual experiences to check out and check back in the truck. I spent nearly an hour getting the truck and over 20 minutes to drop it off.CHRISTOPHER T.

We booked a U-Haul plus two dollies over two weeks in advance to moving. The day before the move-in date we received a call which stated we would have to pick up our truck from a new location (Spunky's), but still had to pick up our dollies at Park Street. Annoying, but not a big deal. She told me to go to park street before our pickup time for the truck at 4. So we get to park street around 3:30 to get the dollies, and they are all out. The lady at the counter was extremely helpful and called around for us to see which locations had the ones we wanted. Nobody had them, but a carwash had two dollies that were different sizes than we had requested. So we went to that location to pick them up, and were told we would not be charged for them. Then we rushed to Spunky's, our third location, to get the truck. The person working at Spunky's was new (not his fault), and did not know how to register us to get the truck. I informed him we already checked in online, (the lady who called me the previous day about our location change informed me that if I checked in online it would be super quick and we could just show up and receive the truck.) However, the employee was not sure what to do and was also the only one working in the store. We stood around for 40 minutes until the owner finally came down to help us, who realized we had checked in online and then gave us the truck. We returned it the next day, were told the total was 89$, and upon checking my credit card today we were actually charged 140$. Lots of hassle and very disorganized, will not book again.Cristian M.

They didn't know what was going on sent me somewhere else then after going to another location found out that this was the right location in the first place so Spunky's set me back by a day for moving and I lost my movers so had to find people to help because of Spunky's mistake! Not impressed at all with the lack of communication from this place and uhaul at all!Matthew M.
It took a very long time to complete the transaction as the rep stopped frequently to assist other customers. The return procedure was not explained to me which wasted time upon my return. Recommendation: After hours verification process should be explained to all clients.DIANA S.

People in the front had very little knowledge on how to retrieve information on the computer Had to call in another employee so had another 30 min wait to get our truckleon B.
The truck was terrible it was so dirty there was receipts from pst customers and had not been cleaned in a long time , windows were covered in bug guts which made it very difficult to see out the windows. The lock on the gate is compromised, you cannot lock it securely. The dealers gave very little information about the rental and process. The process took a long time because the dealer was going between serving myself and other costumer s in the convenient store while taking on the phone. The lack of mechanical maintenance on the truck made me fell very unsure about my safety while driving the trunk. This is not the type service I would expect from U haul. I have used your company in the past from other locations and was pleased with the services. This location is completely subpar for your company.jennifer C.
It took me more than one hour to pick up the truck, even though I had checked in online the day before. The people in front of the computer couldn't do what was needed to give me the keys until the called some support on the phone that the opened the rental contract and then send it to the store to have it printed for me. When returning the truck in the afternoon, even though I was returning with the same amount of fuel that was when I got it in the morning, they wanted to charge me 9.8 litres of gas. Wow, I used to truck for 26Km and they were wanting to charge me 9.8 litres. Or this truck had the worst mpg ever or they were thinking that I am dumb. I don't recommend.Marcus C.

I filled my tank to 3/8's of a tank and was only given credit for filling up to 1/4. I realize this is nit picking a little bit but it seems odd and unnecessary that I would have to pay extra for gas that I am not using.Tim M.

I had an unbelievable uhaul journey... Started at snow hut in Moose Jaw where they asked for a $60. deposit even though I was to pick up the trailer 2 days from then in Regina from uhaul. I stood at that counter for an hour because that $60 was supposed to be taken there and not in Moose Jaw. So they had to cancel it and couldn't return my $60 they had to send it in the mail (which I still have not recieved and was the last of my money so I had to leave the last load of my families belongings since I didn't have the gas money to go back and get it which made the landlord keep the deposit because he had to pay someone else to haul it to the DUMP!) when they redid my application I had to give them $60 which put me out $120. in total! And then they sent me to Spunkys Confectionaries to pick it up I don't get why they couldn't just give me the trailer they were going to at the first place. My family has lost so much with this move and I will be going elsewhere next time!Krista K.
I'd received a call (from the Park Street dealer) earlier that day telling me I would receive a credit if I could return the truck that day (was due the following day). When I told this dealer, he called the other dealer; after a short conversation he turned the phone over to me. I spoke with Greg --who identified himself as the 'area manager for U-Haul'. He assured me I would receive the promised credit, gave me his phone number if follow-up should become necessary. 2 days later I received an e-mail from U-Haul notifying me of an additional $60 charge for 'late return' !! Apparently this dealer didn't register the return in the U-Haul system until 2 days later! I called Greg --he assured me the charge would be reversed; and that he was working on delivery of the promised early-return credit. A couple days later I confirmed that both credits were on my credit card account. Greg's customer service was exceptional . . He answered his phone every time I called. He provided honest explanations --no excuses. And he delivered on his commitments.ARNOLD S.

The people were not ready for the customer. They had a lot of problems. I was shocked how poor the quality of service was. I would use U-Haul again but hope don't ever have to use that location again and go through same experience.Shibatosh D.

The service was terrible. If I was U-Haul I would be embarrassed to have him as a operator. When the Regional Office advised me that my order was split and I had to use this location, I knew it was bad news. The operator suggested that I fill in the information before going to speed up the process. It took me 45 minutes to get the truck the Owner and his son could not operate the computer. Lucky for me a Supervisor out of WPG for U-Haul just happened to stop by to see how they were doing. In less than 5 minutes he had us on our way. I have no way to re-coup my lost time...very frustrating. You seriously need to review this operation.Ron P.

I did not receive the dolly that I requested and paid for nor did I receive all the furniture blankets that I requested. There were 4 blankets in the back of the van that were wet and stinky. We had to drive to another location to see if they had any blankets (which they did) but was a real time waster.Donna E.

It was probably not the fault of the employees at the location. But my check-in lasted more than 20 minutes, and this after I had done the online check-in "to speed up the check-in process and not exchange personal information at location". The employees had to input my driver's license and credit card again, and had to spend long minutes trying to get hold of someone from UHaul to solve some issue with my reservation.Martin A.
This is a sideline for this operation and they must (understandably) tend to other customers as they complete the paperwork. They tried very hard to make this work but it was a clunky transaction.Brian S.

I will never ever remt from uhaul ever again. 2 hours to get the truck. Trying to over charge me by a long shot. Double charging me, after I return the truck. I booked a 20ft, the person I talked to, booked me the 26ft, which was not available to rent out. I ended up with a 15ft, which took 3 trips to move all my stuff. Then I end up being billed twice for one move. I am very usatisfied with the way I was dealt with and charged.Tracy S.

I dropped the trailer off after hours. I called he following morning o confirm everything was okay with the drop off the girl said yes. I dropped he traile roff on Thursday then received a text on Saturday saying my trailer needed to be dropped off at a different location. Then I revived a voicemail saying my trailer was late and I needed to call immediately. I call the 1800 number saying I dropped off he trailer 2 days ago she's said she would call the other location and let hem know. I then received another call saying my trailer was being considered late as it was dropped off at the wrong location. My paper work stated I was to drop it off at the university park location so that is what I did if the trailer needs to be moved that should be on uhaul to move and not be made my problem.JASMINE R.

When I drop off Uhaul I was informed that there was a dent in the back right hand side. I DID NOT DO THIS DAMAGE The person in North Battleford said , you bought the insurance so don't worry. I said no way , first of all the lady from Regina did not do a walk around with me on the vechile , ( how could she anyway , she could not leave her store to do that ) as far as I'm concerned I want the insurance money back , How many other people have been blamed for damage because they have insurance .Christine H.

We had booked a trailer about six weeks before. The day before our pick up we recrived a call (from what we could tell was a call centre) telling us the size trailer we ordered was not availabe and that we could not get the substitute trailer until 8pm. We explained we needed the trailer for 8am not 8pm. The woman on the other end said there was nothing she could do for us. Needless to say we were quite upset. We called the UHaul location we had booked through (not the location we picked the trailer up from) and spoke with a gentleman who did handle our concerns much better. He kept us on the line while he made the necessary arrangements for us to get a trailer for the next morning. Although the pick up was 930am instead of 8am at least we got a morning pickup. 8pm as the 1st person we had spoke with would have been totally unacceptable.ralph C.

Very disappointed and not happy with the U haul company and U haul roadside assistance . Has nothing to do with the people where the trailer was picked up. Unit had a wheel brg. go on it and my son was late getting to his destination because of it. The company was very unprofessional and will probably never use them again. The first two reservations were unsuccessful. Third time's the charm. The U-Haul franchise on Park St., Regina is a disgrace to themselves and an embarrassment to U-Haul Inc. The www.uhaul.com customer do-it-yourself online reservation system is worse than useless because it misleads your customers.TOM M.
