Very dangerous. The worker at the Saint Peter’s location in PEI was very helpful. Nothing bad to say about this young man. However the trailer I rented should have never been allowed on the road. It was one of the enclosed trailers. When we returned it, I saw the box move. I started looking at it and saw multiple bolts missing. The box was ready to fall off the frame. I told the worker to put this unit out of service and the reason why. He called his boss to tell him that there is a major issue and it should not be rented. His boss replied “I know, I was there earlier to see if I could fix it but we will need a mechanic”. How is this possible that the manager knew about this yet let the unit continue to be rented out. He put us and other road users at a significant risk.

1. Self-checkout issue: When booking this truck, I specifically selected the 24/7 self-checkout option, which allowed me to pick up the vehicle using my phone. However, after confirming my identity in the app, we were waiting to pick up the keys somewhere. But there are no containers for self-checkout. We stood at the car for almost two hours, from 6:24 pm to 8:15 pm, while we were passed from one operator to another without a solution to the problem. 2. There are no warning signs that this store is the U Haul key pick-up point. That's why we weren't in a hurry to get there and didn't go there right away to ask (since we were sure that we had a self checkout). Location closed early: Your location was supposed to be open until 7:00 PM, but when we arrived at 6:24 PM, the verification process was bad and it took time because we had to repeat it several times and wait for you to process calls to our friends. This was long and unexpected and disrupted our plans. How were we supposed to know that this is your service? Just because the truck is parked?

Polite,. Kind fellow in the store.. Easy going. I observed the patron in front of me renting a Uhaul truck and I was most impressed with his customer service skills with what seemed to be a first time customer. Highly recommend...

The employee did not come a do a walk around. Nor did he help hook it to the truck. To make sure hook up was done correctly. I know how to hook up trailers, but he should of did a walk around before and after.
