The guy behind the counter was no help at all. I do not use my cell phone for email and I had expected to have a person available with computer access to help me at the pickup location. After a very frustrating half-hour trying to use the uhaul online process (I had already done the pre-checkin process at home - uploading pix of my license and providing all pertinent info), I finally resorted to calling 1800uhaul. After more frustration on the phone, I finally reached a real person (I forget her name, but she was amazing). It still took an additional half-hour or so, but the woman on the phone stayed with me and held my hand through the process. She (Denise?) is an great asset to your company and she was comforting, patient, and professional with me. She saved my day and my planned move. She deserves a promotion.

This is a dirty convenience store. The store clerk barely spoke English, He gave VERY minimal and unclear instructions on how to return the equipment. There was ZERO documentation that I had returned the vehicle, the condition, mileage or fuel level. NOTHING, NADA, ZERO. This made me extremely uncomfortable! Just ‘put over there(pointing)’ put key here(pointing to drop bx) and then he walked away……………
TIMOTHY ZIt’s just a simple drop off location. No dedicated U-Haul personnel in site. Served its purpose. Thank you!
KEITH OThe drop off box requires a code to unlock the padlock. You have to access the app which may not be available on the mobile phone. I had to call customer service and wait on hold for over 30 minutes nearly losing the battery on my phone before the problem was resolved. The locks were about 6 ft off the ground making it hard to see the lock to put the code in. I’m 5’5” and it was difficult. A different type of box would be very helpful. The cs rep who did help was very nice and knowledgeable and we were able to resolve the issue
Karin WSo i signed up for a 10' truck rental for 2 days from Stanwood Gass & Deli Uhaul (2 miles away). Later i get a voicemail that i cant have that truck (even though i see it sitting in that parking lot every day) and that i must go to the other Stanwood Uhaul in downtown stanwood (5 miles away)...fine. The day before im supposed to pick the truck up i get a text saying i now have to go to Mt Vernon (20 miles away) to pick up the truck. I call and they give me another number to call...i call and im told that they switched me to "save the truck for a one-way customer if they call"....WHAT?!! I said "so youre telling me i cant have the truck 2 miles away and that i have to drive 20 miles just in case you get a one-way call for the truck? ...are you kidding me??" Then he said "hang on let me see if i can get you that truck near you"....and he magically got the truck i asked for in the first place! ...wow. The last several times ive used uhaul its been ok...although they have switched locations on me twice and now im suspicious that was for the same selfish reason. Hey...how about helping the customers you already have instead of jerking them around "just in case" you get a one-way call??? Not tolerating this in the future...going to another rental company next time they try and switch locations on me.
