yesena makartzykFirst time this happened, so was probably just an over sight. But, when I got the 15ft truck, the right side view mirror was broken and not able to be adjusted correctly - I noticed this and called Chris to let him know and he suggested that I called the helpline to try to get it fixed. However, by that time, I was already at the storage unit loading up things, and I was ready to go and trying to adjust the mirror. And it was already getting late so I couldn’t spare the time. I feel it should’ve been inspected before I got it. So, that’s all. Otherwise, Kris and Teri are really wonderful to work with and I enjoy coming to this location because of the friendly employees. As well, the truck was not available at the time I reserved it (did not open until 9:30) and they had only 1 dolly out of the 4 I reserved - caused my move to be significantly negatively impacted. And the place was stinky. But the agent was nice and I was able to extend the time with the truck easily. Love the app - made the process smoother.

Milan CheylovHave the truck available that I had scheduled. I had movers waiting for me and charging me waiting time. Uhaul never informed me that the truck I had rented was not returned. How can I have a reservation booked a week in advance and then not have it available the morning I’m picking up? Terrible.
STEVEN SHARKEYHand Truck that I put a deposit on and was assured to be at location was not. You need better communication between U-Haul and the actual rental location. Also, no automated pickup via phone was available. Clerk on duty Sunday the 29th was surly and unhelpful.

Behzad NeydavoudWhen I arrived for my reservation, the truck and the keys were not there at 9 AM. I come to find out later that someone had broken in the truck I was supposed to rent. It was Sunday so I had to wait till 11:30 till en employee arrived. She was gracious and kind and offered me another truck but I was already 3 1/2 hours behind and I missed out on a $300 job. Other than that everything went well. I expect a full refund. Thank you. Robert Eades

Elizabeth EspinozaI rented a truck from Woodland Hills and voiced my concerns with the attendant who didn’t seem to really care about the situation. He stated that he tried to clean the truck beforehand and said that he noted the contract that it was gross. I went to go pick up my employee who refused to go inside the truck. It was dirty and smelled like marijuana and cigarettes. The bed of the truck was disgusting, and the truck had less than 1/8 tank of fuel. What a horrible experience. I immediately returned the truck. Further, the truck is missing front license plate which is required by law. I just hope I am not being charged for this and no one else must go through this. The employee working there didn’t seem to care.
Roy ShauliI highly not recommend this place, the old guy that attends the place is really offensive and he was rude and giving me bad attitude when I arrive to the location to pick up the truck he didn’t want to help me and when he finally help me he was doing everything with bad attitude and throwing at me my license and my card on the desk in a bad way, at the end he give me a wrong key and when I ask he didn’t believe me once he noticed that I was tell him the truth he move all other trucks because the one he give me was all way in the back, now once I come back I was returning the truck there was no people in the office or the whole building, another customer was waiting for more than one hour before me and no one showed, so checking on my reservation I find out that you can return the truck through the web site just with some information and some pictures, I follow all the process and the web site give me the information for the final receipt at the end no one appears to receive the truck so I decided to throw the keys of the truck inside of the office using the front window that was open and yes there was no one person to receive the truck or the keys, the old guy just left the place open and didn’t care about the customers or the office, they should fire that guy is the worst customer service that I ever have.
Cristian RosalesNone of the equipment I reserved was in the truck - appliance dolly, furniture dolly and 24 blankets. Two cars were parked in front of my truck blocking me from getting out after my mobile check in and harassed me when I asked them to move. The gas tank was almost empty. The website took for ever to check me in which made the guys harassing me mad. The parking lot where you pick up the truck felt unsafe and was poorly lit. Be careful here.

Sheila TrueVery disappointed in the van. Half way on the road it started over heating, smoke coming through the vents and some kind of oil leaking. Called the office and reported while on the road and he told he reported this already…if you guys knew this why put the van out there? It was very scary driving back. Dashboard telling me to turn off the engine because it was overheating. I have pictures of these. But guess what still had to pay. Make that make sense smh

Manoj AryalI requested a truck with a pack of blankets and appliance dolly. The agent said he had only the truck, referred me to a nearby StorCal Self Storage site who also did not have the blankets, but had the dolly. When we went to put the dolly in the truck we found it already had an appliance dolly and pack of blankets. Someone had already properly staged the truck for me, but the agent was not aware. I returned the truck the evening of the day I took it out, using the key return slot, yet it was logged in as returned 36 hours later. Thus, I was billed for two days rental and extra trip insurance. This was reversed after I brought it to the attention of the local agent.
