Don't charge me for the damn key when the location doesn't have a drop box for the key. Plus, we couldn't get out cause the gate wouldn't open. Charging me an extra $53 for the key being â€œlostâ€ when I put it on the door of the damn place is just messed up.Dylan Z.
Location did not have my rental reservation truck available as contracted. I was redirected across town to another location. It added 2 hours to my planned timetable which rippled through my day. The office manager confirmed â€œthis happened all the time!â€ Your company does the customer a disservice by not notifying in advance that a pickup charge is required due to insufficient inventory. if i could give ZERO rating i would. The pickup i rented was not checked over by the employee and myself prior to taking it off the property. It was not checked over when I returned the truck. I WILL N OT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ISSUES. He said to come at 4pm, closing time, the truck could not be dropped off any place else and the sign jon the door stated: WILL RETURN AT 530PM. he said sometimes the clock gets messed up when shutting the door. MAHYBE JUST mahybe he should check that also. NEVER AGAIN AT THIS LOCATIONANGELA I.
Chris was extremely easy to work with. We called in advance to double check on their closing time and he was in the parking lot ready to accept us upon arrival. The location was very cute, clean and easy to find. Thank you ChrisScott D.

The contract said that the gas was at 1/4 full. I was upset with that because that meant that I would need to stop at a gas station 2 times. One time to put enough gas in to get to where I was going and back and a second time to replace what I used. That was very time consuming. The gas tank should always be full when you pick it up and you refill it to full at drop off. Very bad customer service there. However when I got into the truck it was not in fact 1/4 full but rather a hair over the red line. Very upsetting. Someone isn't doing their job. The truck itself was ready for the junk yard. The a/c on max was not enough to breath comfortably in. I had to open the windows in the Florida heat just to â€œcool offâ€ it was in the 90's out. Then when I got on the highway the speed limit was 70mph but the truck could barely handle 50 mph. The truck also made terrible loud squeaking sounds. Not sure what that was about. Maybe brakes, who knows. Horrible experience. I stunk and was soaking wet with sweat when I got home from that piece of crap rental.Joanne L.

Although the pickup and return location, and, the trailer itself, were all fine, the internet-based reservation system was horrible for a one-way rental. The pick up time was changed and I was only notified by text, with no way to reply/dispute. Furthermore, the drop off location was changed, again by text, with no way to reply/dispute, and, the original reserved location to drop off was full. I had to pass four additional U-Haul locations and drive 27 miles (one way) inconveniently, to get to a location that would accept my return. To add insult to injury, I was advised that I may have to pay an extra $80 (although I was returning on time) because the â€œSystemâ€ or reservationist 'forgot' to allow me two free rental days (which was the current special). The guy at the return location was courteous enough to recognize the error and correct it for me. In return, and as a courtesy for the inconvenience, I received a voucher for $25 for the next time I use U-Haul. I don't think there's going to be a next time. There are too many willing competitors to seek out in the future. Not a great experience.Jarett C.

The main manager was very incompetent and not informative at all. Pictures were never sent Via text message as per their policy before renting a U-Haul truck. Per the area manager, said that there were damages on the body of the truck. He also states that they only know this because prior damages there are taped access. We were informed that we owe $150 for insurance deductible. But it is very clear that they have not been fixing any prior damages and apparently they are not fixing current â€œ damagesâ€ â€” which is two tiny little scratches that's blamed After I return the vehicle. This is even after I already received the final sales invoice which stays there was no damage. And zero charge.Sean-Michael R.

Last minute rental, super nice and helpful people. I called another location nearby and their computers were giving them problems so they didn't even offer to help, but then I called this location and they helped me right away in spite of having computer issues. Can't beat it.MARK J.
