Make it known the personal car can not be parked inside the gate. I was very disappointed and concerned because I had to park over night unsecured.Kimberly O.
Stopped by local Uhaul location to make a reservation. We were told, we can't make a reservation for you, you've got to go online to do that yourself. We went home, got online and reserved the van we needed. From start to finish, the rate for one day for the van was $19.95. During the reservation process it asked for our estimated miles. We estimated 350 miles. Nothing ever changed with the process. At the end of making the reservation, daily rate was 19.95, 100 miles were included with the rate, all other miles would be .29/mile and the estimated total was $102. We get to the Uhaul location the day of pick-up. We're told, your rate is $79.95 and there are no miles included with that rate. You'll be paying .29/mile for every mile you put on the van. We said, but we have a reservation and the only rate we ever saw was 19.95. We were told, the vans are 19.95 per day if only going 50-100. Once you estimate more miles than that, the rate changes from 19.95 to 79.95. We never saw any rate at any time anywhere on the Uhaul page for 79.95. Our total for a one day van rental ended up costing us $168. Obviously we will never again use Uhaul.Nancy W.

I can't really say whether I'd recommend it to a friend or not. The people working there were only adaquate, nothing special. The truck was hairy and dirty. I did not want to touch anything there-in. The truck worked ok, and looked ok, from the outside, but in the passenger section of it, it was not comfortable and truly yukky what with the hair blowing around and the dash feeling gritty. It was close to our storage unit, and that was a good thing, for us. But maybe not for everyone, as it was off the "beaten track".Franklin F.

Make access easier when trying to enter in own vehicle. Otherwise service was great, & the cargo van rented was new & clean & ready to go. Friendly service & flexible with days needed the van.ronald P.

The guy I rented a pickup from told me after I had already signed paperwork that he was closing at 3:30 pm so the truck needed be back before then. I told him I had reserved the truck until 5:30 so he told me to just take it to another u-haul location. I dropped the truck off at 3:45 pm at a different location and they said there would be a $245 "wrong location" charge. I don't appreciate the bait and switch. Don't reserve a vehicle if you can't maintain the staff to check it back in.Tyler J.
The first location that was reserved was the Storage Company in Eugene OR. I scheduled this reservation several hours in advance and received no notification until I was in the store that they were not able to complete this request because they "were not up and running yet", despite them being listed as a functioning U-haul location and claiming to have the vehicle on site. I had to reschedule a business appointment and cancel another appointment. I would have appreciated notice from either U-haul or the franchise location that they would be unable to fulfill my request as there was plenty of time to notify my prior to me wasting my time at the wrong location. I hope that this is not the level of service that I should expect during my big move later next year and I am considering taking my business to another rental agency or professional moving company.Patrick S.

I was charged for products they didn't have. I asked them not to but they still did. They didn't know how to change the order. The location didn't have ANY of the supplies. The millage went off the trip A odometer (I should have checked that one). I had to go to another location and the staff was helpful.Terry R.
