Windshield was cracked. It was a convenience store 25 miles from my original pick up location.The cashier had no clue as to what was going on. Said an I quoteâ€ I ain't never heard of nobody renting an paying online â€œ;Then proceeded to call the store owner to check us out over the phone. Never laid eyes on him. And it all took 45 min to an hour. We got on the road late with this delay in pick up location an actually checking out at the store.I will NEVER RENT HERE EVER BY CHOICE!Tereasa C.

I had to drive to Tifton from Valdosta to get a truck because the one that I had reserved wasn't returned on time. The truck I reserved was a 26' and ended up having to get a 20' because it was the only one available in the area. When I went to pick up the truck I had to talk to a guy on the phone to set it all up. The guy that was there never did an inspection on it before I left. It was dirty in the cab and in the back. There was trash still in the back that I had to remove. After it was returned I was charged $60 for fuel. The tank was only at a half a tank and that is where I put it before returning. I will never use uhaul again and don't recommend anyone else to use them either.Tara W.
A single young lady might be scared to stop here. People where friendly but there was a guy smoking drugs in the woods behind the store and a guy walked up to me trying to sell antiques so he said. Rough area it didn't bother me at all but I could see problems for other peopleEdward L.

The man at the return location was very helpful in trying to figure out why the mileage was off on the truck. I had to call 1-800-GO-U-HAUL and they saw the error in the computer. In the future I will take pics of the before and after mileage and not just go with what is on the paperwork. This was the only problem I had. The Uhaul was in great condition, everyone was very pleasant and professional.Stacy T.

I was told online my fee would be $250 bc I got a 20% off on the rental. When I got there I had to wait while the man called someone on his cell phone. Then I got the total without the 20% off. He said he couldn't change pricing.Rebecca S.
The trailer had issues and should have been fixed prior to renting it out. Wasted my time to go out there they processed my payment as if everything was being done accordingly, only to ran into more problems that required the GM to stepped in.Jude D.
I was chased away by a group of homeless people that tried to take my food at the location I picked up the truck, then sent to another location with zero employees on site to get a trailer. I was charged just a little less than $450 for this experience.MICHAEL B.
The vehicle had not been cleaned and reaped of marijuana. The location you report to does not have a U-Haul representative. You have to call and speak to someone else when renting. Also, the location sells fried chicken and I left smelling like a restaurant. I will never revisit this location to rent anything.Lamar B.

They were serving fried chicken in a long line. It was hot in the pick up location and had on his phone to with the store person in Albany Ga. It was horrible. No social distancing. I was the only one doing the appropriate distancing with a mask. It was horrible at the pick up location in Tifton GA. The drop off end was great. Professional clean and efficient. I had asked for Mr. Joe Walkers location in Tifton. I even had to go back to the chicken place to get the blankets that they left off. I would never recommend Uhaul to anyone in Tifton GA. Again Marietta drop off was great. I expect some sort of discount for what I had to experience in Tifton Ga. Absolutely horrible!!!ed W.

Attendant didnt speak english. I had to talk to someone on phone on speaker phone of the attendants phone- Not sure what I would have done if i have not paid and taken care of everything online ahead of time. By doing so, I also was unable to use a $40 certificate I had. The truck inside was dirty. Drink spilled on console. Outside was dirty. I brought the truck home and had to clean out and disinfect the inside.Paul M.

This is a convenience store. The cashier has to call someone to check you in. Sometimes no one answers and you have to wait. In my case, the store was very busy and there was a long line with people buying thing from the store and the cashier was overwhelmed with his own customers. Nobody on site that could handle the rental. The attendant at the store had to call someone to handle the reservation. Wanted my credit card info over the phone. When I asked why (because I had already entered my info online,) he hung up. When the store clerk called him back, the man on the phone said he was busy and wouldn't be available for another two hours and that I did not want to pay for the truck. Very shady operation. Not helpful at all. I will say the attendant at the store was as helpful as he could be. He just wasn't allowed to do anything by the owner.Donald R.
my reason for saying i wouldnt recommend this location is because itat a was convenience store and i had to wait until they finish serving the customers that were in the store, the owner could have been more attentive- didnt acknowledge me so in that aspect of it all , thats why i say no i would not recommend my friend.JOHN C.
Make sure the employee is there to check the equipment. Make sure the equipment is not broken and customers don't have to wait for 2 hours in another state on the side of the road to get this fixed. Road side assistance could've just told us where another location was so we didn't have to travel without safety chains and a tire strap.Michael F.

The location is managed in a gas station and the actual rental is taken care of over the phone with no physical intermediary (other than the guy at the gas station counter who speaks to his colleague over the phone in his own language). Things do work though and you can rent your truck without any problems, but I'd have finalized my rental and credit card payment with a physical person instead of over the phone if I had the chance.Dario D.

At pickup the people in the store did not actually deal with the uhaul. I was put on the phone to someone else who unfortunately, due to their accent I could barely understand anything he said. We made it through the rental to where he gave the total. It was much higher than the reservation amount And I had him recheck it. Not sure whe rd e he messed up but he came back with a closer amount. I was told the truck had just under 1/4 tank of gas & I'd receive a $10 credit.I asked if the person running the store was going to do a walk around with me or send me an email for the condition of the truck. He just shrugged as he didnt understand me. I only received a receipt email. No options for the truck. When I got in the truck it was on "E" Empty. I went back in and told the clerk. He didnt say anything just called the person on the phone. they yelled a minute and told me that the destination dealer would give me a credit. I said it is on empty are they going to get gas for it they said they do not have any and for me to try to make it to a store down the road. well reluctantly I did. I got less than a mile and ran out. A lawncare service truck stopped and took me to get gas charged me to do so and it took alot more than 10 to put it on 1/4. Horrible Horrible experience I didnt get the amount back I should have been due to not having a receipt for the gas can or gas I put in it to get to the store but the destination dealer was awesome in helping.BRIAN W.

This place is not organized at all. They don't have a system setup for pickup or drop off. Everything is done over the phone. There's no privacy when talking on the phone and you got to watch what you say because of the other customers shopping in the store. No one came outside to help me hook up the tow dolly or to make sure that it was hooked up correctly.Steverson J.
The person at the store wasn't really familiar with the equipment or processes. He just put me on the phone with someone to process the rental request. I had to repeat my phone numbers and DL number 3 different times before the person on the phone could get the order through.glen S.
