The man in charge of this location was polite, helpful, and competent. I would give him five stars. However, his 'office' is in a dark, dusty, scary, deserted-looking building with all kinds of abandoned equipment sitting around. Not very inviting. But the main problem was that **this is not where I had paid to pick up my truck.** It was only by sheer luck that I was able to get it here. UHaul texted me only 18 hours before my RESERVED, PREPAID pickup time and told me coolly that my rental truck wasn't available. No apology, no reason given, no offer of a refund, just the statement that I could pick it up 80 MILES AWAY from where I had planned to get it. By a freak accident of luck I was able to do this, not that U-Haul knew or cared whether that would be in the realm of possibility for me on the eve of my move. So hey, if you like adding a 160-mile unexpected detour to your moving day, then by all means use U-Haul.Hope C.

I parked the truck and tow dolly then left the keys in the drop box. The gentleman, so sorry I didn't write down his name, that called me the next day sent me the receipt he'd promised in a timely manner. Once again, your professionalism and competence were a breath of fresh air! Thank you for a seamless drop off. Well you can tell the guy here in Jonesboro i would like my money back for the over charged fee for not using a credit card and paying cash . I took the truck back today and no one was there , plus i called the number at the store and he told me he would call me back when he got there so he could reimburse my one hundred dollars . So a hour or so goes by and i call him back to see what the deal was and no answer , or call back . Can you please get in contact with him . Im not happy at all .... thanks for the truckBrandyn K.

After leaving, this place charged my card for 9 blankets and for additional gasoline. There were 6 of us who made sure the blankets were folded, counted, and placed on the truck plus we took pictures of the gas needle to ensure we were accurate with the return.Amanda A.

We reserved for a pickup in Ruston, LA. The day before we find out we had to pick up in Jonesboro. This made a take a different route and added 24 miles onto our trip. While the location in Jonesboro was fine, I'm not pleased that U-Haul did this. If you can't accommodate me in one city, don't take my reservation. I will likely use a different moving company next time because of this.BRIAN A.

My original reservation was with a location in Ruston, LA, where I live. When I arrived to pick up my equipment, i learned that the site (the one on Tennessee Avenue) was no longer a dealer. This was the first that I had heard of this fact. I went to another dealer in Ruston (the one on Cooktown Road) to see if they had a 6x12 trailer, which they did not. However, I told the manager my story, and he made a call and discovered that my reservation had been moved to the Jonesboro location. (He also learned that the Tennessee Avenue location had been removed as a UHaul agent not by the dealer's choice.) In the end, I got the equipment and accessories that I had reserved, but the additional time required for me get the equipment delayed me about 2.5 hours, causing me to reschedule my departure with the equipment about 15 hours until the next morning. I wouldn't call my experience a nightmare, but it was most inconvenient and annoying.NORM P.
