Jody HConsider painting lines in your truck parking area. When I returned my truck, there was a space just barely wide enough to back my truck in, leaving maybe 4 inches of space on the right side, and just enough on the left to get out of the cab. The problem is caused by ... inexperienced (I'll be kind) ... drivers uncomfortable with (kindness again) backing vehicles up (or just driving in general ... oops). Perhaps painted lines defining parking spots would help guide those uninitiated to the mysteries of driving. On a separate issue, I had no idea that the papers handed to me when I picked up the rental were just information sheets, and not the contract. I was not aware there was a U-Haul app that I was to use. Checking the truck back in proved to be quite a prolonged and trying process. Thankfully, your help centre was able to guide me through sending in a photograph of the odometer that I had taken for my own records before locking the unit and returning the keys. I suggest asking your customers if they have the app on their phones when they pick up their rentals. I was't aware of the app at all until after I had secured the truck and keys.

Leonard GI rented a 6x12 trailer from “Supreme Paint & Dent”, yesterday 2026-06-17. The U-Haul system was down, so the person entered the information manually, I declined the CDW, paid the total charges of $41.95. I brought the trailer back before closing, parked it and attempted to go in to the office, there was a sign that said “Be back in 20 minutes”. I proceeded to disconnect the trailer when a black car pulled up, a women exited the vehicle, I asked if I could get a drop off receipt, she said the person that does this has left for the day, it would be sent out in the morning. Big mistake. The next morning, I checked my email, seen the drop off receipt with an extra $15.75 charge, $10.00 CDW & a $5.00 plus the GST on this extra charge. I called “Supreme Paint & Dent”, a lady answered, I asked why the extra charges when I declined the CDW. She said that U-Haul automatically puts that charge on when the system starts back up, she proceeded to give me a 1-800 number to file a complaint. I asked if she knew this, why wasn’t I informed of this? If this was known why they don’t check when the system comes back up to make the changes? I said that she should call U-Haul since this is what is done automatically and removed the charges. She proceeds to tell me not tell her how to run her business, to quit swearing at her, never come back on her property, if I do, she will have me arrested. She then hung up. I never swore at her or was offensive. I called U-Haul, they have no policy of automatically charging CDW or Safe Trip if their system goes down then starts back up. I had the printed receipt that was given to me with the CDW not check off, thankfully I keep receipts. He husband called me later and proceeded to threaten me, I just hung up.

Neil ISaid no to personnel helpful only because I didn’t interact with anyone. They were not open when I dropped off. All seemed fine. Only comment would be yard is small and congested. Maneuvering a trailer in the drop area is very tight.

Steven VA quick cab cleaning and checking tire pressures before pickup would go a long way. It would also help to have staff available at the desk during posted business hours, or at least provide clear instructions if there will be a delay. As for the return process, if a customer can't park in the original spot because it's occupied, a little flexibility would be appreciated. I promise I wasn't trying to start a truck collection in a new location—I was just parking where there was room. Overall, a few small improvements to vehicle readiness, communication, and customer service would make the experience much smoother.

Muhammad SEven though I told them i only needed the car hauler for May 15th and would be dropping it off early May 16th. The invoice stated I would be dropping it off on the 17th. My address was wrong on the invoice even after giving the rep my license, i live in Spruce Grove not Leduc. The clearance light stopped working on the way to High Prairie. I will be waiting to see if I was billed properly and that my deposit is returned.
WADE HBilling wasn’t totally disclosed. Was not told there was a cost per mile I put in the fuel I used and was charged for fuel. I was told the unit was the same price as another unit I was looking for but unavailable, but again not made aware of additional costs to use it. Wont be renting again.

Richard SI made a reservation for a U-Haul Truck a couple of months in advance of move to ensure that it would be available for the date and time that I needed it. The day prior to pick up, I was advised that the pick up time was changed by U-Haul to be 5 hours later than what I reserved. As we already had an elevator time reserved for our move out, this was not acceptable. There were no U-Haul trucks available in the same city, so we needed to drive to a different city to pick up a U-Haul truck. Further, I had reserved a furniture dolly and furniture pads. Neither of these were available at the location. Instead, they recommended I go to the main U-Haul location back in my original city to pick up these items. Upon arriving at the main branch, I was advised that they never have furniture dollies and that they did not have furniture pads either. The front counter staff advised that they would remove the charges for the furniture dolly but that they could not remove charges for the pads (even though I was not supplied with these). Upon returning the vehicle the following day (at a different U-Haul location in our final destination), I was advised that the charges for the furniture dolly had not, in fact, been removed. They were at least able to remedy this and they additionally removed the charges for the furniture pads. Overall the experience was most frustrating. I will never again rent from U-Haul as they are unreliable and poorly equipped.
Jacqueline MI did not had any problem renting a Uhaul at this place, this was the second time and it's very easy and simple to deal with the helpful staff. Fair rate as well. I would definitely come back to this branch if ever I would be needing a Uhaul truck again in the future.
Plaridel RThe location and the dealer were above average. They were easy to deal with and helped me to obtian the right size truck. The equipment was terrible. It was dirty, the check engine light was on, the windshield wipers didn't work properly and a headlight was burnt out. The truck was in terrible condition.
Jamie KWhen I picked up the vehicle I was told that the fuel level was at 7/8. Because I was driving to Calgary from Leduc I immediately filled up the tank in preparation for the 300 km trip. I was surprised that the amount of fuel to fill the tank was 31.1 litres of fuel for a cost of $46.59. That would mean that the complete fill up would be 8 X $46.59 = $372.72. There's something wrong with the original 7/8 estimate. Can I be reimbursed the initial fill up for $46.59? Thank you. J

Dwight BUnfortunately truck had to be boosted when we picked it up then each time we shut it off we would have to boost vehicle. I did advise location of issue with truck and he was very pleasant and appreciated the information for this issue. I would still recommend location as the contact person was still very pleasant and the vehicle was clean it was the boosting issue.

Kevin GI called to have my drop off location changed to the Southfork location, was told that it had been changed, and when I arrived the man who worked there said he had no information about it. He refused to get in contact with anyone to confirm the change too so I dropped off at the 45 st location instead. The guy at the southfork location was absolutely useless and rude.

Veronique PThis location is one of the best uHaul locations I have ever dealt with. The equipment is always well maintained, clean and ready to go. There is always someone at the front desk ready to support you and the transaction is always quick. They close at 4:30pm so plan accordingly, I have needed trailers after this time and have had to go to other uHaul locations.
Michael NWhen we walked into drop the truck off there was no one the store area. When I called to find out if they were open. The lady was very rude and condescending on the phone and when we went in the store she was just as rude and condescending. Later on on a phone call she was more helpful but her first impression was not good.

Justin FI picked the van up on Sunday morning, so there was no contact with the staff at the location, apart from a confirmation phone call on Friday. If there was someone there on Sunday, I would have refused to accept the van because the cargo area was filthy with drywall dust and debris. I needed to lay down moving blankets to protect my mother's furniture from the white dust. The automatic system using the APP to pick up/drop off equipment after hours has a fault. I indicated that - No, the equipment was not clean enough for another family to use and I was automatically charged a clean up fee for a mess that was not mine. If the charge is not reversed, I will be complaining.
Matthew MEverything was ready and the staff even had the truck started and warming up (as it was very cold out on the morning of the rental). Very knowledgeable, helpful and professional - great overall experience and would highly recommend.

Calvin PThis location provided excellent service and the staff member was outstanding. 5/5. However, I originally booked with west Edmonton. Once I arrived the only trailer they had had no electronics. The cable was ripped off. They said they rented my working trailer 15 minutes prior, despite the reservation. This added 2 hours to my moving day of driving to Leduc and back. I’d like to submit a 1 star review for UHaul Winterburn for not respecting my reservation.
