I am writing to express my frustration regarding a recent reservation I made for a two-wheel car dolly. I reserved the equipment two weeks in advance of my scheduled pickup date. However, I received a call only one before my pickup informing me that the dolly was unavailable at my selected location. I was told the nearest available unit was 45 miles away, or I could use a four-wheel car trailer instead for the same price. I would like to understand why the item was not available despite my advance reservation. This experience defeats the purpose of booking ahead of time. I look forward to your explanation. Regards,

Told my husband he needed to fill up the gas tank before returning it. I was the one who picked it up so he didn't know we started with just 3/8 of a tank. He called me as he was filling up. I assured him he did not need to fill up. 75 dollars later he was just over 1/2 a tank. I call the facility to check why he was told to fill up or be charged. They stated he misunderstood and was just supposed to put it back to 3/8. Not what was said to my husband. Will not be using this location again.

Well, the store wasnt open at 10am when I was supposed to pick up the trailer. Didn't even show up until about 1020. The hook up was fairly quick and easy, but once we got moving we noticed a little pull from the passenger side, once we stopped we noticed that the frame of the trailer was completely bent. Sucks that this is the only guy in town who has trailers for rent.

Location and equipment was great. Pricing is deceptive. "$19.95 for in town moves" came out to over $80 with only 15 miles driven. Fees, extra charges, mileage. Maybe make an inclusive price and even at $50/day flat I'd rent it. But the fine print charges is a huge turn off. I'll look for another rental service next time.

The car transporter had a large, long cut on the tire. It should have had a pre inspection before being rented out.

Customer service at location was poor. The female working was rude and always had her baby crying at work. Everything was bodering her and in a bad mood.

I had to clean the windows when I got it, but the back compartment was clean. I cleaned the windows again before I dropped it back off. I liked being able to do the lock box thing. The one mirror on the passenger side wasn’t adjusted right for me, but I couldn’t get it to move.

Awful service and customer support. Didn't honor online reservation price, charged me twice as much, messed up the rental contract, delayed me by nearly an hour and then despite the truck being on time, because it took the representative a few minutes to finish up with a customer and get to our truck, he tried to charge us an additional 7 days due to it being "a few minutes late", which was the time he spent handing other customers. I would recommend using any of the other available uhaul rental sites in Tehachapi. There are plenty and offer better service and friendlier reps. Avoid That Old Thing rental in Tehachapi at all costs.

Other than being charged $6.00 for going over mileage Because being new to the area, could not find the correct return place for the truck, everything is fine.

Assistants (one experienced and training second - new guy) were excellent. Trailer well maintained and ready for re-use to us. Hook up fast and probably took less than 10 minutes including test of lights (brake, left, right) functionality. I tapped brakes when departing facility and assured hydraulic brake functioned properly. Pleasing service and product.
