They need someone there that knows what they are doing when you rent and return them trucks. When we returned no one was there that knew what to do. We had to talk to someone on the phone and wait till someone came down there. They were the one that had I did not owe anything. But I still had to pay the 38 for the gas which I did.theysaid the 80.04 would not be took out of my account but you did it anyway I need my money refunded.roger C.

I was told u haul would give me extra time due to excessive weather issues. Truck got stuck in mud from tropical storm Nicole. Took a couple days to get out. But u haul charged me for all extra days. Disappointed in you. I have worked with you over the years many times, about 5 this year alone. So get the full extra days fee was a disappointment in your service.N Kathleen S.
I was needing the truck to move many balloons and only needed the 10' truck so I reserved a 10' truck they reported as available. The night before going was informed that it was not available and the 15' truck would have to be used. I was a little nervous using a bigger truck, but I managed it ok. Requested to drop off in the area I was bringing the balloons instead of driving that big truck back and uhaul fixed it for me so I could just drop it off there one way. Overall it wasn't to bad just wished I was able to have had the 10' truck.Cristina W.

Made me drive 21 miles in the wrong direction one way, while passing multiple uhaul sites! I am not your employee. If you need a particular truck to he somewhere, YOU can pay someone to drive it there! My time, gas money, and mileage were stolen from me.DOUGLAS J.

Was told fuel was full. Gas cap was dangling. Noticed fuel was at 5/8 and cargo area dirty and had a bad odor of trash. Called renter and was told to come back to exchange trucks. Couldn't do because of schedule. Was told she would call Uhaul and call me back. Called me back stating that the best Uhaul could do was to allow me to return the rental in Florida on empty, which I did but was told that there were no notes stating that I could and I was charged $140 for fuel and service charge. Called renter and she remembers telling me I could return it on empty and she was going to call Uhaul and get back to me. Still waiting. If not reimbursed I will dispute the charge on my credit cardDavid B.

My pickup location was changed to over 30miles away and never notified. The guy there said all we could do was call corporate. Even though the lot was full of trucks the size we rented. Very poor customer service when I had to drive 45mins away to pick up my truck.Dwayne W.

It would be better to have an office at every pick up and drop off locations so U-haul personnel can explain better everything renters need to do before picking up their trucks. That way, there wouldn't be any unexpected problems/charges that renters would incur.Gustave F.

This was and indeed the best u-hual location I've ever dealt with. The wonderful staff went far and beyond my expectations. Everyone was super nice and knowledgeable. The manager was on point with everything. The equipment was in great shape, no issues and clean inside. Everything with my rental went smoothly from A to Z. The convenience store is not clean. There's no official Uhaul sign or desk. The people were nice, efficient and again,... It's the management that should take initiative to oversee these things. Not the customer. !!! We have enough to be concerned with. The young lady needed help. I am almost 70 and we had to lift the trailer on the hitch. Our hands were not strong enough to tightly screw down the hitch. I stopped along my trip to tighten it more.BARBARAMARIE Q.
Apparently the auto transport was not attached properly, I only found out when I dropped off the equipment and staff at drop off location informed that I made the 800 mile trip alive â€œby the grace of God.â€Anna L.

We were processed for one truck, then they messed up and processed for a different truck. The employee gave me her personal cell phone number for me to call if we had any trouble but she did not answer my call or text. Her voicemail was full as well. When dropping off the truck we were charged over $200.00 when the girl told us it was going to be $97.00. We were so tired from moving that we just don't have it in us to call to get refunded. The truck struggled some to start due to possibly a poor battery. The truck had not been swept out after the prior rental. That was not a big deal cause it only had little toy bugs in it (dragon flies, spiders, etc). The biggest issues were the lady processed two different trucks and the end price was over double what we were told:( it was poor service, would never get a uhaul from that location again.Nicole N.

It was obvious no one checked the uhaul truck foe cleanliness or maintenance. The check engine light was on and the truck was smoked in. The last customer used the cubby under radio for an ashtray. The steering wheel was also off center.Cameron M.

Trailer was definitely a problem. Surge brake kept bucking and releasing. Trailer swayed side to side horribly empty and loaded. I'm a CDL class A driver so it wasnt me or my vehicle. But it got the job done for a fairly decent price. Just hope it hasnt damaged my suburbans' suspension or sway linkage. Both pick up and drop off location girls were top notch and very friendly and professional.Debra H.

The location is a actually a rural gas station with exactly one U-haul truck and a couple small trailers outside. There is no normal parking for the said truck, it's just hanging out there on a patch of grass, near some old cabin, so we had to hop over puddles and get our feet wet before we got into it. There is no sign whatsoever to indicate that this is a U-haul branch. To get stuff done we had to talk to the gas station clerk who in turn had to look for the U-haul clerk and once she found her, things were not quick either. It took us some time to persuade her to look up the reservation number, and once she did it, we had to start the process all over again. Also, this location didn't have an auto transport that we needed so we were forced to drive extra 70 miles (35 each way) to get it, and were billed for extra mileage (which we currently dispute). The clerk was very nice and friendly though and even found us a guy who helped us to tow our damaged car on top the auto transport.Margarita O.

The gentleman that helped me was awesome. However, he hadn't been properly trained & was thoroughly embarrassed. They were even confused they even rented on Sunday. The lady he called to help him that had taken the day off was more worried about getting her car cleaned out than assisting this poor man or me. They didn't have enough furniture pads, so I had to take even more time and go into Roanoke after all to get more. As frustrated as I was, I felt bad for the lady at the register & the gentleman that helped me because of their embarrassment & being lost at what to do.Barbara I.

Drop off was terrible. I was sent to a location that isn't accepting vehicles yet. Ending up wasting over two hours after getting a alternate location closer to my home. Nobody asked or let me know I could have picked a different drop off location when I first rented.David P.
