I showed up and there was no physical location, the truck was parked in a parking lot of a gas station. I walked in and the lady handed me a phone number on a piece of receipt paper. I called the number the guy told me to ask the lady for the key. There was no walk around the truck to inspect for damages none of the processes that I later found out should have went through happened. The inside of the truck had garbage and was dirty as hell. Overall the pick up location for the truck is one of the most unprofessional experiences I have seen when dealing with U-Haul. However, the lady that ran the drop off location was very pleasant and very professional.Jason B.
This location was terrible! The worst U-Haul experience I've ever had in my life. There are no U-Haul signs or instructions anywhere, telling you where to go or who to talk to. I waited and walked around outside for 20min hoping someone would notice I was there by the trailers. I had already called in a made an appointment thru U-Haul customer service, and was told someone would meet me there. After waiting 20min I re-entered the convenience store and had to wait in line for another 15min to speak with the cashier. He wrote down a phone number and said I had to call it to be helped. I spoke with a man that wasn't even at the property. He had none of the information that I had previously given to 3 different customer service agents not an hour earlier. I did not like giving out my card information yet again. I had to repeat it and other information several times, as the man's phone signal must have been terrible. He told me his associate would come out to help me. I waited another 20 min , but no one walked up to me. I called the number again, and told him that no one has assisted me. After another 5 min a man in a dirty shirt, shorts, and no shoes walked up to me. This was the man's "associate". The associate was extremely unprofessional and had a bad odor. He was unable to locate the trailer that I had reserved and turns out the equipment wasn't even on the property. I had to wait longer until he could call his boss and have it corrected. The associate wanted me to pull around through another person's property between two trees so he could get the tow dolly onto my truck. I refused as I didn't feel comfortable driving around and thru another property. He then decided to go with another tow dolly behind an abandoned vehicle. But I had to wait for him to move things out of the way. I moved the truck into place and the associate was about to walk away. I told him I needed help, that I didn't know what I was doing to begin with. Which is why I had made an appointment for the tow dolly to begin with. I have a terrible back and zero experience with this. The associate grumbled and made several impolite words under his breath. He went extremely slow and constantly stared at the equipment and myself, as if waiting for me to instruct him. I ended up having to look up a tutorial to assist, and when I asked him if he even knew what he was doing, he admitted he had no idea. He had not even secured the tow dolly correctly and it had to be all corrected by me. I asked if he could please help with loading the vehicle, again I didn't know what I was doing, and he said he had to go. Luckily, I was able to finally get my car onto the dolly, but not before scratching up my hands. This was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had, and worries me about the locations that you allow to carry your name and equipment. The man on the phone that I had been instructed to call, finally called me back, but his signal was so horrible I couldn't understand his voicemail. I ended having to drive to another actual U-Haul location in TN in order to have someone help me fix the issues that the man in Pembroke, GA could not. I am highly unsatisfied with the way I was treated there and the experience I received. I don't normally ask for a discount on services, but in this case I hope you'll be able to do something and please look into that location 186 N Main St, Pembroke, GA 31321 to make sure no one else goes through this.Michael H.

First off we made arrangements a week ahead for a mid day pick up in Savannah as I drove 7 hours from NC to pick up the trailer for transport of a vehicle . Then on Friday the day before the pick up the location changed and a 6 pm pick up was given which is not what we were asking for . Then upon arrival the Uhaul trailer was not there we then after driving 7 hours had to drive to Pembrook to get trailer which was an additional 40 miles. No one even bother to call and let us know it was a circus. I thank you for the 50 dollar refund however you should have made a full refund if you as a giant company cannot honor your reservation or at least call and keep your client informed you should not do hard look at what is going on with in your company. And by the way the second location for pick up what a rude group of people. .Jacques V.
