I had very bad experienced when I rental vehicle from this location this morning. The owner was very rude and refused car inspection with me, said it all in system. Also when I return the vehicle they refused car inspection with me as well. I did remember that I selected without insurance when I made reservation online but the owner said I did selected and I have to pay for it. I feel the owner hated this business as his only focus on his computer repair instead. I will not come to this location anymore and will tell all my friends don't go this one, it was totally terrible experience with this owner today.

The one hiccup was that a Dollie was booked pn line without any indication that it was not available at this location. The issue was the online booking and no fault of the store. Store service was excellent!!!!

Staff were not helpful and rude. Did not clearly explain process. Made it feel like we were creating a big inconvenience for them. Would not recommend this location and I have had many positive experiences with uhaul before.

At the time of vehicle pick-up, I was met with an overly aggressive representative/employee from The Computer Clinic who was abrasive, rude, and provided false information on insurance coverage. Customer service training is required for this person who lacked basic patience. At one point during the pick-up I wondered how he could be the "face" for U-Haul? He intentionally gave me a van that I noted had issues and visible damage. Very disappointed in his behaviour! Besides that, overall experience of using U-Haul was good.

Closing time is to early- and it is not reflecting the time that Customers Services have told me. I have requested a dolly and they don’t have any. I did signed a waiver for the insurance and it was not taking off from the invoice.

I needed the Van to pick up some furniture on a Saturday morning. I have used this location several times for a quick pick up of items I cant get in my car. In and out, no hassle and cheaper than renting a truck for the whole day when I only need something for a couple of hours.

Clean your vans so I can see if there’s any damage. Rear left tire was low according to computer, but the man said that computer wasn’t working properly.... After driving 200 meters I brake and air bag signs saying needs to be service... The guy is very rude , no customer service skills whatsoever. No winter tires , so until I put some wheight on it I was spinning all over. Told the guy about all this and said yaya ya I know, never look me in the eye... Make your own conclusions . I rented there again because there was no vans available in town because of Canada post strike. I don’t expect any apologies from U haul whatsoever , but u should be aware .

I never received a final invoice for the vehicle that I rented. I think I was charged a cleaning fee although the back was cleaned out and the back was frozen because of weather here. I even took out garbage from the previous renter. I have renter many vehicles and I'm not impressed with this organization.

A smile would be nice to start with. I was told to buy extra guaranties, since my Visa wouldn’t cover commercial according to him. I said my commercial insurance said they will cover the rental, but then again I was told U-Haul doesn’t accept external insurances.

Tried to call several times - nobody answered the phone. Assessed for 2 days extra rental but actually only 8 hours late. Assessed a cleaning fee for no reason.

Very rude service. Van provided had very noisy gear shift. The glove box had not been cleaned for months. Multiple old rental documents were inside. Will not provide a receipt / invoice on returning the vehicle. To get a receipt you need to contact UHaul customer service. 40 minute wait on the 800 # .The invoice finally supplied was jpg. Yes, don't expect a printout or PDF and will not indicate a cost breakup. In summary a $19.99 advertised price ballooned to $79 for a two hour rental. No explanation. Don't go to this outlet.

The only problem was the Arizona plates/US-style. All of the height signage in Alberta Canada is in meters. The only height warning in the cab was 11 feet zero inches maximum. If it's being driven in Canada there has to be a meter height sticker. I was worried the whole drive.

This location closes at noon on Saturday, is not open on Sundays and has no drop box for keys. When asked, I was told that I could drop the van off and leave the key under the seat, but that wasn't recommended as it was a higher theft area. I understood that I should then bring the van back on Monday. When I brought it back (with only 14km used), I was told that I should have brought the van back on Saturday and kept the key. This was NOT made clear to me at the time of rental. I have now been charged three days rental. I do not recommend this location at all. They are a poorly run operation with very poor communication.

The tire was slipping eveey time when every other vehicle were moving nice amd good. I had a terrible time to use a pull out service twice and shovel the snow for half an hour every time and worned out my car's winter mat . We were tired more by making the vehicle run than transferring and moving all our stuffs. It was like a bad dream and a bad day to me amd my family. It was my 3rd time to drive Uhaul and was the worst experience.

I told the manager that his trucks need winter tires, he said once loaded there is no slipping. I took 40 minutes and 3 people just to get away from the curb. Finally the help of a jeep with a tow rope got me going. I stopped 3 feet past the door where my load was at. I was forced to circle the block and come in again to load up since the wheels slipped downhill (1% grade). I had trouble staying in lanes where it was snowy at 60 kph. With a load the wheels just spin more as you sink. I drove truck and schoolbus 20 years and had no problems in winter except with Uhaul vans and trucks. This is try #2 in 10 years and I think it is bye bye. Your licence says Arizona. I rest my case.

Tires were atrocious for Alberta conditions I would have been better off in a drag car. I put more miles on the truck trying to get it unstuck in a inch of snow then I did driving it. I will use a different rental company in the future if this is the kind of non road worthy vehicle u haul has

I was very upset with how I was treated by the owner (Jim). I booked a 26’ truck and after I started the truck and checked everything else inside with him, I stepped out if the vehicle and the door automoatically locked and Jim accused ne of locking it, when I didn’t touch the door at all, except when I unlocked it from outside. He was clearly closer to the door then I was and my fiancé was standing right behind him, so she’s clearly saw that I didn’t touch the door either. Anyway they didn’t have a spare key so I had to rent a 17’ truck, which took a lot longer to move then planned for and I had to pay the helpers more money to help also.

Cab was dirty, oil change light on, heavy smell of cigarette smoke was difficult to endure. There should be no smoking allowed in the cabs. I drove 600 km and had difficulty with my asthma because of the cigarette smoke on everything!

From the time that I booked online and made a reservation, and then called Customer service, to picking up the uhaul: my reservation time changed, the size of truck changed and the credit card informAtion that I booked with "got lost". When I spoke to A coworker who also moved this past weekend and also used uhaul, she said the exact same thing happened to her. Please fix this so other people don't have to go through this in an already stressful moving situation.

your representative is giving a bad name to your brand, i think i am not the 1st one to tell you this and will not be the last one. I went to the place 9am on my watch and the guy at the door very rudely told me he is close and come back in 10 mins like i was there begging for food at his doorsteps, so i just stayed outside waiting for the shop to open and the guy did not call me that he was already open and i was seating outside until i noticed that the open sign was on. Before I left the guy told me to call him on Monday to check-in the truck with him and so I just called and he kept asking me why did i called him and I said you told me to call you today and he asked me again why i called him. only reason i will consider getting vehicle from this site again is convinience, this is the only shop you can get a uhaul in shawnessy, millrise, midnapore, sundance, silverado, evergreen etc area in Calgary, sw. Maybe that is what people's business is worth in our area.

I gave the keys back to the personnel at that location. You really should inspect the truck with the renter upon arrival. I don't think it is far that it is done after you leave the place I left it in good standing but don't trust your method of inspecting when I am gone. You guys could say something is damaged and I would not be there to see it or dispute it for my self. Bad way to do business.
