Starting with a full gas tank and then having us, the customer, return the vehicle with a full tank would be easier then guessing how much gas it takes to get back to the level it was at when first rented.Jack Z.

They asked me too have the truck back before noon because they had somebody else that wanted it and also because they close at noon. Pulled up at 11:58 and they were closed and nobody around. I also took a pick of the gas guage before and after the rental to show that it had more gas that when I started but the next day they charged me $20 for the gas and $30 as a service charge to fill it. I immediately emailed U-Haul and they issued me a refund for both. Also very unfriendly. I have always used the Blackfoot location and will be going back there next time.Sandy B.

The owner was so rude and abrupt. It was shocking abd upsetting to converse with him. I honestly cannot believe that he is a business owner and daily deals with the general public. I am an average, reasonable person and he talked to me in a demeaning and rude way in front of my 2 kids. They were disgusted by him. He should not own a business in my opinion. I would never, ever recommend this uhaul location to anyone, quite the opposite!!rochelle H.

Windshield had a large crack, and many rock chips. Location does not offer phone check out, even though I picked it and an email was sent confirming it. That meant delaying my project till the location opened. Then when I arrived at location I was told U-HAUL was down system wide. This resulted in another 2 hours delay. Also cost me an extra day rental.Jon P.

The inside of the vehicle was very unclean. The truck showed e-brake fault message twice (the office was closed when I returned the truck at 3pm, so couldn't tell the reps). The service was prompt and courteous.Mark B.

This location is not the problem it is your customer service over the phone. Nobody mentioned the extra cost of insurance! Secondly starting out with less than 1/4 tank is not great. I would rather not have to find a gas station right after leaving the Uhaul pick up place.crystal josh F.

This location was very disappointing compared to other UHaul locations. The employees failed to comply with the local face mask bylaw and it was too small to accommodate the two customers and two employees. The vehicle had a change engine oil notification the entire time. The back of the van had not be cleaned (i found pieces of broken glass).Chris M.

The guy running a store probably had a bad morning and was noticeably annoyed, he couldn't find my reservation and repeatedly asked if it's under different name. 30 seconds later he found my reservation under same name as I originally told him. Printed invoice also had and insurance billed in even I tho I declined it during reservation I didn't complain about that just not to make an awkward situation even worse. If I wouldn't be so short on time I honestly would walk away and go to enterprise across the road. Equipment wise everything was good. Just a given location and person running it.Artur G.

First, your prices are out of line and way too expensive. Secondly, the van was not clean, there was no washer fluid, there was no snow brush / scarper in the vehicle. I had to clean off the windows with my credit card. Thirdly, what in the heck is an environmental fee? Something else to drive up your already exorbitant pricing. U-Haul will definitely be my last choice for vehicle rental in the future.Russell D.

I rented the U-Haul for 1600 because I work in the Emergency Department until 1515. I received a phone call that day saying I had to arrive before 1600 or else I'd lose the booking. Even though the website had options all the way up to midnight. So I rushed there and bately made it. The man was rude, and the second employee sat behind him watching the hockey game the whole time. I got the truck, did my thing, returned the truck. The next day, and the following three days, I got phone calls from the unhaul dealer asking for payment despite the fact that my credit card had clearly been charged and I clearly explained that. Overall, I would never rent from here again or recommend anyone go here. Everything was just awful.Kristen J.
They were rude, threatening, and even tried slipping in an upsell, that I had not signed up for online. I would advise no one to ever do business at this location. I have used uhaul all over North America. I had only two bad experiences. One was in Toronto when an employee extorted a "tip" from me when in the yard (after the office). I never had that happen before or since, anywhere...I am a notoriously big tipper. But that was just an employee. This guy in this Calgary location was the manager of this store. It was like he had a chip on his shoulder from some recent uhaul event of some sort.Les H.

Ive used U-Haul about 6-7 times in the last three years and this location specifically has been the most convenient, as far as customer service and processing payments go. Very nice gentlemen working at this location. Just wish it wasn't so far for me but would make the trip over there and recommend that location. Thanks!Madeleine V.
Given a truck with 2 inches of snow and nothing to clean off the snow or ice, This is unexpected, I had to run the truck 15 minutes to melt ice and use credit cards to scrap the windows, this is unexceptionable when paying $150.00 and an ice scrapper is $3.00.Lester A.
The vehicles were dirty, The windows weren't even defrosted. Javier was very hard to work with as far as wanting to use another credit card than first offered. We were very surprised the card we gave him even accepted the charges. There was no washer fluid, and the whole time a check engine light was on to change the oil. The truck interior had clearly not be cleaned out between customers. There was an old contract and an old mask on the floor, which is worrying because I question whether the cab was sanitized. I also was not provided with a key for the lock to the back door. All of my possessions were left vulnerable as a result.Nicholas D.
Rude and not willing to help. Told me to just leave the keys when dropping off, then proceeded to charge me a re-fueling fee even though I for sure re-fueled it to the right level. Called them and he kept repeating it was not at the level rented, while I knew it was. Did not want to help. Called U-HAUL call center directly and they assisted! The guy asked me to return my vehicle sooner even though I had a 24 hr reservation. I said no, and he said his day was busy tomorrow. When I left the location I ended up getting a text saying my vehicle was due back in 5 hrs. I had to sit on the phone on hold to fix this issue. Also their closing hours are wrong online (google). It said 4pm, however the store called me and said its 3:30 to me. To even make it more confusing my apt for picking up the vehicle was for 4:15pm. U-Haul clearly has the wrong hours in their system for this location. Thankfully the guy from this location called me and advised me of this. However he failed to advise me that they did not have a furniture dolly in stock, which I requested. So when I arrived to pick up my rental he told me I would have to drive to another location. I was upset as this would add on km to my rental which would cost me extra money. He did not offer to take care of this or even phone another location for me to see if they had it in stock. The older guy also said NOT to use the web check out if I returned it after hours and he will be doing the check out in the morning. I asked the younger guy that handed me the keys at the end of the transaction if the web check out was not reliable. However he just said the old man is stuck in his ways. I also read after this happened that if I let the shop do this I would be charged $20 as a convenience fee. He told me specifically to let him do it. The customer service was terrible. Absolutely, no people skills at all. Abrupt and rude. They forgot to put the mattress cover in the truck. I was given one location, down the street, to park the truck when I return it, and told that if I park elsewhere I will be responsible for the towing fees. When I went to return the U-HAUL, there was nowhere to park it! The small road area, that I was allowed to park, was full. I tried to park the truck at 4pm, then had to drive it home again and come back every hour waiting for a space to park. Finally at 8pm there was a spot available. I was frustrated to learn that the dolly and furniture protecting covers that I had reserved in advance were not in the van and no reasonable solution has been provided by U-haul to fix it. Truck isn't working great, in fact it barely started and sounds like something is wrong with it, so I returned it after one load as I think it needs to be looked at before I caused further damage. Your online return needs some work. My phone settings wouldn't allow me to return the vehicle. I had to wait almost 20 mins on hold. The lady who helped me was friendly... but it still took another 15 mins to sort it all out. Also when I went to pick up the vehicle on my appointment time, the store was closed.Dawn S.

I booked the truck online for four o'clock. The employee then called me telling me that I have to pick up half an hour before the time I booked or otherwise there would be no one there. I had to give up half an hour of paid time costing me to lose money I really need. When I brought the issue to the employee attention he abruptly told me to "take it up with U-haul" and afterwards proceeded to refuse me service. The employee's attitude was unprofessional, incompetent, and rude. These people don't care about their customers or the quality of service they provide as long as their getting their money.Christian V.

We brought the truck back we rented after only driving 46 miles in it within the city. When I got my receipt I was charged over $1,000 because they messed up entering the miles. They entered I had drove almost 1,000 miles. I called customer service but they were not able to help, so I drove back to the location and walked with the gentlemen to the truck to show it was not correct. He never said sorry about the mix up and was a bit rude, I also got a call from Adam (manager) regarding this but no apology and wasn't that nice either over the phone. I am waiting for the credit to be applied to my visa now that I've been charged almost triple what it should of been. Won't be using Uhaul in future.Dillon C.

The vas wasn't very clean outside , interior was ok,. The windshield fluid reservoir was empty, The day when I rent the van the snow was melting, I couldn't even see through the windshield, I was really disappointed that the van did not have that basic item.Roberto M.
After reading the reviews I was almost scared to go pick up the truck, but I found that the gentleman was pleasant to talk to and had no issues. It was quick and easy. The only thing that I would have liked is a little more instruction for the drop off. The App did not allow me to return the truck so had to trust that it would be done manually by the owner in the morning and he did it with out complaint.Lorna G.
Please provide good customer service. The location I rented the van from, at the computer clinic, the dealer (that was he called himself and said he doesn't work for U-haul) named Jim was so rude. I went online to get the truck in the earliest time possible because they have 24/7 truck share. After I signed up online I got an email instructing me how to get the van. I even downloaded the app because that's one of the instructions. When we went to pick up the van and after doing what's instructed, I got a notification to wait till the shop opens at 9 am. I was thinking that was a total waste of time signing up when we are going to do it anyway when the rental place opens. So we went back at 9. We parked in front of the shop and walked in. This guy told us not to park where we parked (not in a very nice way). My daughter moved our car. I asked the guy about the signing up online and I was instructed to pick up the van at 8 am which was my preferred pick up time. He said they open at 9. Told him about their website that I can pick it up at 8. He insisted that they open at 9 without any apology for my inconvenience. I insisted too that I was instructed that I can pick it up at 8. He raised his voice and insisted that they open at 9. The same time my daughter walked in the shop. She told him not to shout at me. He said I keep on insisting that I can pick it up at 8 when they open at 9. My daughter argued with him that their website said 24/7 truck share. He said they don't do it in that location. That was telling us without any apology. So I have to sign up again with my driver's license and my credit card. I was pulling them out from my wallet one at a time. I was getting pissed. When he asked for my credit card I put it on the table and I said "Here" in an angry tone. Now he had the audacity to tell me that he won't accept my attitude towards him. I told him he started it from the time we walked in. He processed the rent service. No thank you from him. Told us to wait outside. When all of this was happening, there was a man sitting by the desk behind his desk. He was the one who met us outside gave us instructions and gave us the key. My daughter asked him for the rude guy's name. He told us to ask him ourselves. He didn't know we picked up the business cards on the desk, one is Jim's and one is Christopher's. My daughter asked his name and he said it's Chris. To all who want to rent a U-haul truck, don't go to this location in Midnapore. Very poor customer service. Terrible experience for us.Ruth A.
I returned the truck where the man at the computer clinic told me to. Exactly where I picked it up from. I couldn't get the app to get my location. I tried calling 3 times. I took pictures of the gas and parking brake being on and the while outside of the 10ft truck I rented. I was parked at 930pm. And tried for 45min. To get the return to work. I finally put the keys in return box before 1030pm which was my return time. I am supposed to have 34+ returned to my Koho visa and it hasn't been put back on. I am not happy. I called the location.
