Was charged for fuel even though I filled the vehicle back up to the same level I picked it up at. The paperwork shows picked up at 3/4 tank anf dropped off with 3/4 tank. Still charged me for 8 gallons of fuel.Michael D.

THE ADDRESS YOU SENT ME VIA TEXT MESSAGE WAS "WRONG"!!!!!! The correct address is 2520 NOT 2516!!!!!! GPS sent us 20 minutes east!!!!! YOU MUST CORRECT AND UPDATE THE ADDRESS!!!!! Same story as above the manager of the Valero was also quite petite and could eject the ball from the trailer he called a coworker to help him and the three of us were unable to get the hitch off the ball there was also no jack at that location either then the had to send me to another dealer on the other side of town When I get there the employee behind the desk said that he could not help me because I was suppose to bring it to the Valero location ! I told him they had sent me over to him because the could not get the hitch off the ball then he told me that there was going g to Be an extra charge for that ! Ridiculous! I demand a full refund for the in conveniences and the in aptitude of your staff and equipmentkarthyn T.

The truck had cigarette ashes. It was filthy. The blankets in the back were just thrown in there. The dolly was rolling around the back of the truck. The truck had 86,000 miles on it. Try somewhere elseJACOBHAINES K.

When I got there trailer connector for the lights wasn't working fix it myself. After I return the trailer I was double charged we had to spend few hours on hold with U-Haul for our second charge to be refunded back to us, stay away from this place the person in there does not know what he's doing.DANO U.

This is by far the worst uhaul experience I've ever had. The customer service was not organized at all. I was told to go to one place and rent the uhaul, upon my 45 minute drive there it was closed. I then called uhaul and they stated it was a self check out. So I attempted to do it online and come to find out I was not able to hook up the dolly myself. So I was then prompted to drive anoth 45 min to a different uhaul to get a bigger truck than what I needed because that was all they had. This was over the course of 4-5 hours I then called uhaul and asked if I can drop of the car dolly at a different location and they said it was okay. I never got a new contract and no body was tracking. I've been using uhaul for a little over 10 years. And most likely will never use it again. Overall it was a terrible experience.JAMES S.

The trucks ac didn't work, the truck had a water leak. Road service never showed up as they promised they would. The trip was made more dangerous due to these factors. I am 70 years old and had to drive 450 miles in the rain and heat with windows open. I had heat exhaustion which triggered my bronchitis and I'm still 4 days after not back to normal with a doctors appt next week. NO, I would not recommend Uhaul.JANLAWRENCE F.

I originally made a reservation for Sunday morning and received notice that the sized truck was not available. Key drop off area is dark! My wife attempted to return truck but returned home waited for me to get out of work to drive it back. I saw another vehicle parked near the key drop-off box. The store was closed so can understand why she felt uneasy there. Everything else was great.Joseph B.

Trailer was somewhat snowed in when I picked it up and had to shovel it out to use it. After I loaded and was leaving at 4am I noticed the tail lamp and running lamps were not working on the drivers side. When I picked it up I tested brake light and signals they worked. A little pre prep would have been nice, especially for $740!!John R.

Go rent from Roe Brothers in Florida, just an easier experience. Unmotivated owner/manager. Doesn't have employees help with uhaul rentals so you'll be waiting on him.Tyler S.

I am a very dissatisfied customer I rented a 10' U-haul truck 0n Saturday February 15th, 2020 at the Valero location located at 2516 Rte 17M in Goshen, NY 10924. I was charged for equipment that iI reserved and never received but was charged for!!!! The business is ran through a third party person that works at the Valero gas station who happens to be a very unprofessional old little man that does not know anything about the trucks. He does not know how to operate the vehicle's so every question you ask him he gets on a cell phone to call the owner of the U-haul trucks. I have several pending charges on my debit card, so I questioned it so the little old man that works at the Valero gas statin called the owner of the U-haul trucks to answer my questions, I spoke to the owner on Saturday February 15th, 2020 in reference to the amount owed plus my refund for the miscellaneous charges for the things I reserved but never received, and the owner assured me that he would rectify the bill and correct the amount owed and email me the new bill. Well it is Monday February 17th, 2020 and I am still waiting for my bill , but the owner emailed me an email to rate my experience!!! Like are you serious!!!... Then the little old man that works at the Valero gas station that is the third party person that is running the U-haul business is tired of me calling him about my bill and the miscellaneous charges that is still on my card that he has been hanging the phone up on me. Do not rent anything from this place these people will take your money, rob you and are very disrespectful... My next step is to report them to The Better Business Bureau tomorrow, I wish I could have done it today but today is a holiday.Wendy D.
