dropping off we were directed to a tiny crammed lot with no possible way to back the 16 foot trailer in with the truck. We took the trailer off to push it into place by hand. Im 56 with a disabled arm, my wife is 5’3 and 110 lbs. We could not pushh it through the deep gravel so we left it where it was. . As we drove away and tried to check out we realized it required pictures. We went around the block and when we got back some angry man with a tractor was hooking it up and read me and my wife the riot act. I told him number one dont ever speak to my wife that way and number two we tried to move it. He tokd me I needed to leave and I said I need to take pictures to check it in. He said Ill do it and then before even opening the back he leaned forward and said how eould you like a $50 cleaning charge. I took the pictires and left. Dont go here .

Carol HGreat team despite system issues I had a 9 AM appointment at U-Haul Stanwood (at the Pottery Vault). When I arrived, there was already a huge crowd waiting because the U-Haul computer system was down. The team was working hard to get everyone taken care of—they even processed credit cards offline to keep things moving. Because of the system problem, I ended up getting to my truck about an hour later than planned. But the staff member who helped me did everything he could to make it right. For that reason, I give the team an excellent rating—they really saved the day. My only frustration was with the U-Haul system itself, not the local crew. If you rent here, just be aware that tech issues can happen, but the people on site will go above and beyond for you.

It was so close to another truck that I could barely get in and it was real hard to get the truck out of the lot with other trucks behind me and I couldn’t just drive straight out I had to make a immediate right to get onto the exit driveway and I was afraid the rear of the truck was going to hit the other. Not a fun way to start the day

Wolf MThe person that used the truck before me ate jelly donuts and spelt sugary drinks in the vehicle. It also had a smell of cigarettes and musk. The steering wheel was sticky and had raspberry jelly on the shift gear. Spills on the floor and drink area moo straw wrapper and crumbs in cup holder. The truck had a lot of play in the steering wheel 3" play and felt like I was fighting the wheel constantly. The truck needed service bad. Doors didn't close either without major slamming them.

Steve HI recently rented from the pottery barn and the gentleman was very courteous and accommodating, however the equipment was another thing. I rented a vehicle hauler to transport a car from Mount Vernon, WA., to Mesa, Arizona. At 150 miles from the final destination I had a blowout with one of the tires. When the technician arrived two hours later he replaced 3 out of the 4 tires because they were not acceptable, one in particular he noted that it was "not U-Haul approved". I am extremely angry and incensed that U-Haul would put my family as well as my vehicle in jeopardy, this is not acceptable and I would not have rented from U-Haul initially if I knew this was how they kept up their equipment.

Tiffany EWhen I rented this 15-foot truck, I was told the fuel tank was "full". The gauge was not pegged to "F" but I assumed the tank was full. I only drove the vehicle about 35 miles total. When I stopped to get fuel before I returned the vehicle, I had to put six gallons of regular gas into the tank at $4.99 per gallon. It was $30 worth of gas to drive the vehicle about 35 miles. I WILL NEVER RENT A UHAUL TRUCK AGAIN. I would caution others: DO NOT TRUST UHAUL. This was a scam to squeeze extra money out of me. This is not the same UHAUL company I have rented trucks and trailers from for many years. They tried to blame ME for this when I returned the truck and complained. I will do everything I can to discourage as many people as possible NEVER TO RENT FROM UHAUL.

MICHAEL SAs usual with my U-Haul experiences the issues I have are not with the location staff rather the reservation system and the inability to get the reservations right even when I call in to make them.
GREGORY NAlthough U-Haul as a company has failed to provide quality service, this location itself has no blame in that. The staff was friendly, vehicles were well kept and they did everything they could to make me happy. All of my issues are related to U-Hauls. Terrible inability to actually schedule properly and mischarge.

ROBIN CWas told that our reservation has been changed do to personnel availability and we either would have to use another dealer or use the online check in option which was a nightmare. Customer service was helpful as they had to get involved to complete our reservation check in just to get the key which put us over 40 minutes behind schedule with a hired moving crew. I will never rent from nor recommend this U Haul dealer location.

DREW PThe person who rented me the Uhaul, after I called with concern about the tow/haul light on the dashboard, said not to worry about it, but I noticed the motor struggled a bit. Then I found out how to turn off the tow/haul option and it ran much better. Luckily I figured it out quickly. My advice would be to let this worker know what this option/function is and does to the vehicle as it could save your fleet a lot of damage

LISA EThe manager of Pottery Vault was very precise, but not especially friendly when I checked in to take the truck on Saturday. His tone was accusatory when I had specifically made arrangements with 1-800 UHaul to keep the truck for 24 hours. He questioned my arrangements and told me the truck had to be returned by 4. I explained that I had redone my arrangements to have the truck for 24 hours. I thought he was a bit stiff and could have had better customer service.
