When the hell did U Haul get so expensive? The initial price advertised up front was incredibly misleading. I assumed I would be paying 50 bucks tops, and it ended up being triple that. Don't give me the "gas is so expensive line," which by the way, I was only reminded at the return when I was exhausted from moving and tired of driving the truck around. So of course they tack on another charge for fuel. Utterly risible. I will remember not to use U Haul in the future.

The driver door lock was broken and if I locked the truck I had to gain access through the passenger door. The app didn’t work very well, when I tried to report this on the app it wouldn’t accept it and let me move on. The back of the truck had equipment I had ordered to move appliances and it wasn’t fasten down and there wasn’t anything to fasten them with I had to use my own straps. There wasn’t anything nobody there and I had to use the App for everything which didn’t work very good. I don’t want to rent from them again if there isn’t any one there so I could get assistance when I need.
Donald CMy suggestion would be to give customers the option to check in with a person directly instead of self-check so the key could be located/delivered in a timely manner.
Ochain OOriginally had a reservation to pick up a truck from the u haul location and check it out with store staff as that's what I prefer. I got a call saying the truck I wanted wasn't available and needed to move locations. Okay, no problem. What staff failed to mention was it would be online check in at this new location which was super frustrating to do as I had no info emailed to me about the process and took 45mins after enough brute force. Annoyed
