The U-Haul website for initiating this rental has a number of problems. The site is way too slow and requires too much time for trying to get copies of the drivers license, the pictures of the truck, etc., prior to rental and just cumbersome. The person renting it for me, was not the problem, but clearly the system is too slow to upload and download. This was a dramatic and unpleasant part of renting compared to several years ago when I have rented in other locations out of state and it wasn’t nearly the problem at that time. I was told that sometimes it’s even slower than the 40+ minutes that it took me and I was the only customer in there. U-Haul needs some technological improvements if they want to maintain their business.
