This company goes above and beyond for their customers!! Jenny is a tremendous asset to this location. We host 2 events per year which require the use of a Uhaul truck. Jenny was the only person who was willing to go beyond a usual rental to get this rental setUp for us! This year our rental was made especially hard because someone tried to move our pick up location after rental was confirmed. The day before pick up Jenny checked the out going rentals and our pick up was changed again without either myself or Jenny being asked about or informed of the change. Jenny and her boss then drove to another location so that I would be able to pick up my rental unit at their location as I have for the past few years. I will continue to recommend them to friends along with coming back for future rentals.Michelle C.

Fix the truck, It had a bad rattle in the drivers side door and it was filthy dirty in the truck and cab. And the sun visor was also broken on the drivers side.James Roy B.
The staff at both pickup and drop off were terrific. The truck was clean and well-maintained. However, I tried to drop off via U-Haul's smartphone system and it would not work. I called the 800 number and was on hold for over 15 minutes. That system is a disaster. Fortunately, I could return the truck during normal business hours the next morning, but I would have been very frustrated and angry if I had to rely on U-Haul's â€œreturn via phoneâ€ system.Jann H.
I expected to rent what I needed and requested, in the town that I live. After I reserved a truck close to home. I cancelled my reservation with another company in town. Then, I got a call from someone indicating that the U-Haul office in my town did not have what I requested. I had to get a larger truck in another town, which increased my mileage costs. No discount was offered for causing me an extra in mileage. I also had to make an extra trip back to pick up the truck after I rented it, because It was too high up for me to get into without a stool. So, I ended up driving 20 miles in my car to rent a truck, and another 20 miles extra to drive the truck from another location. Because of this mess I was two hours late getting on the road. Another problem was that There is no mechanism to lower the steering wheel, and I had to drive the truck, looking over the top of it. Otherwise, the truck was clean and in excellent condition. Jenny was very rude and unknowledgeable, we reserved online and had to wait 20 minutes after getting there for her to call someone and verify that we paid online. When she called the next day she was very rude and disrespectful towards myself and my personal contact whom we have to list when getting the vehicle. Uhaul was great, online reserving was great, customer service skills suck.Justin B.

When I arrived my reservation was not in the computer even though I had my email confirmation. After about 40 mins of them being unable to figure it out another customer came in and was taken care of while we waited. This took about 45 mins and at that time I called the 800 number for Uhaul and they re-input a reservation for me. The place was able to find it however they were struggling with the check out process and it took about another half hour to get it checked out. All in all it took about 2 hours to get the truck. We were offered nothing for our inconvenience other than a sorry. When you are moving and have people and companies waiting on you, a 2 hour delay is absolutely a big problem. I had tried finding another location in the area while I was waiting however there were no trucks available in the size I needed. The experience was terrible and ended up turning a one day project into a 2 day because I had to work within a timeframe and was unable to do so because of the delay with the truck. Will not be using this company again or recommending to anyone.Tara O.

Was scheduled to pick up the uhaul at 8am, was called the night before and asked to pick up a half hour later. We show up at 8:30 and are told its not ready yet. We didnt get into the uhaul until 9. The miles were not documented from the trip before us and the uhaul is saying we went over 300 miles when we only went 60. Was not a smooth pick up or drop off.Jessica S.
Even though I checked in and paid online, the process still took 40 minutes when we arrived to pick up the truck. She did not have a record of my payment (good thing I brought my receipt) was not expecting us (UHaul changed my pick-up location) and was not able to swipe my card. Also, she showed a different drop off location than I selected and her computer would not allow her to make the change. Computer system needs work.Nancy D.
The women working at the Storage Depot treated us like we were bothering her and did not seem to know what she was doing. She was very slow processing our rental and when I told her what I had reserved she argued saying that we had to take the larger vehicle. In the end the older gentleman that worked there figured it out and we were able to get the correct rental. I would not use this facility for storage or rental and I would recommend others to find some where else to go.Michelle M.
I got over charged for the truck. Also, I was told the dolly would be in the truck and it was a $7 fee. The woman at the counter didn't know anything about U-Haul or how to work a computer properly. It took me 20 min of just standing there with her trying to figure it out. Got the truck and finally got to my destination... no dolly.....had to send someone to run back and get one . Delayed getting started by about 30 minutes. All went well with the move, upon returning the truck and a dolly she charged me 14.99 for the $7 dolly and somehow the truck was a few dollars more as well from what I was quoted over the phone. I told her and she said she was not authorized to change any of the prices. I was needing to get out of there so I figured I would just call Monday when somebody was there that knew what the hell they were doing and get it straightened out. It took almost 25 minutes to get me checked out because this woman has zero computer skills she was working by herself and never dealt with U-Haul before. I have rented many U-Haul trucks and I know it only takes five minutes coming and going ..When she told me I was all set, I asked for my receipt she said I didn't get one, because it was going to show up on my bank statement ......? I heard the printer behind her going off and told her â€œI bet you that's my receipt printingâ€ she went and looked and she seemed very surprised , and said â€œoh yeah! You're right!â€. Although the woman was boarder line nice at best, I thought the whole experience was a waste of time and it was very frustrating when you're dealing with moving your self or renting a big truck like this you don't need any hick ups and you can't afford to spend a total of an hour signing a piece of paper and exchanging keys not to mention getting overpriced, very disappointed in this Holly, MI, location.Bethanie W.

The vehicle was equipped with automatic door locks that locked the keys in the vehicle and the store was completely unhelpful with the problem. No spare keys at the u haul store forced me to have a $50 lockout cost--not a fun experienceDan H.

This is a 24/hr location. I dropped it off around 10pm. They knew first thing in the morning and sent me my receipt via email before i even had a chance to call. Great location and friendly.Emerson C.

I rented the exact same trailer, two weeks in a row. one to Harrison Mi 48625, and one to Holly Mi. 48442. each time I started out in Columbia. Harrison is 140mile farther, but yet I paid more when I went to Holly. like $60.00 more. That was unreal, and made me feel very used. I don't mind paying for your equipment, but to go from $143.00 to $226.00 and was going 140 miles less. Not good for business. At least thats my opinion.william H.

Very enjoyable experiance. Very well informed owners, made the rental easy. The only thing that would have made the long trip better would be cruise control, but I understand the potential problems it might generate.
