Facility NOT prepared for my pick-up. Had to leave with trailer and no paperwork. Called Uhaul Corporate to make sure the rental payment was in place. They said I was good to go.Gregory M.

Location was in somebody's house in the middle of nowhere. I couldn't check in online because there was no service. I had no idea where to go to check in, and finally found someone after going to a house and getting barked at by dogs.Daniel B.
This location needs to be removed from your list of providers. The facility was closed and vacated. We spent over an hour on the 800 number twice to make sure this location was correct since the local phone number for the facility was disconnected. We went back two times to see if the u-haul was moved or the return processed but it never was. We finally called another facility in Bryson City 3 days later and they processed our return but we never heard from the original location. Again - this facility needs to be removed. A bunch of U-hauls are kept at a very UN-inviting house around the corner from the abandoned gas station which was the business address.Brian O.
Upon arriving at location, no one was there. Eventually, the dog barking woke up the owner, who greeted us with "I'm closed." I discussed with her that that was not an option and my reservation confirmation and payment had already been taken via website, she relented. However I needed to leave all my personal information with her to relay via cell phone to someone else, the info already sent via website and text. She was not rude in anyway and did help us. Because she was "closed" we needed to pull our the trailer and hitch to vehicle ourselves. If I would have gone by myself, I would not have been able to do that. We took an extra hour out of a very busy moving day to pick up the trailer.Janeanne G.

This drop off location is horrible. It is a home where a woman yells out her front door, has a large dog who looks menacing, and property looks like a meth lab!!!! Not sure how they are representatives of uHaul, but dont go here......ever!!!timothy K.

I read the other review and thought, it's on the way ... how bad could it be, I have a high tolerance for diversity. I have rented UHauls from practically the ghetto in Ft Lauderdale before ... no problem, professional staff. When you pull up, you will immediately get the picture. You may be greeted by a nice looking, but very aggressive border collie. He will bark threateningly and show his teeth, and will come very close to you and shadow you, barking and snarling the whole time. You will see UHaul equipment, but have no idea where the office is .. because there is no office (that I am aware of). You will walk around looking for where you are supposed to go, and be harassed by the little dog, wondering if he is going to lunge and bite you. I love dogs, and I am not afraid of dogs ... but I don't want to be bit. The woman who finally, after 6 minutes came out of the poorly kept house, that IS the 'office', told me she didn't have my reservation ... because they don't have internet. She had me write my information on a blank legal pad, name, 3 phone numbers, where I was taking the equipment. I asked her about the dog, who was still threatening me, and she acted like that was MY problem (it was indeed her dog, and after a few more minutes, she put him in the house). It is an Appalachian experience, and not in a good way. I have lived in Appalachia for many years, and I was shocked that this was a 'business'. Be prepared for Twilight zone.Allen M.
guy came out with no shirt on, swearing dropped truck off on a Monday and they did not log it in as received for another week and would not give us a receipt that we dropped the truck off. Said you don't need a receiptgreg B.

Phoned ahead of arrival & upon arrival....No answer. Had to knock on entrance door to get any response...had to stand outside & wait for return acknowledgement. Agent did not enter Return into System.....resulting in Late Notice; although I actually Returned 2 days Early.JERRY G.

I said no because when I picked up the truck there was no utility dolly, which we really were counting on. Also no padding that we requested. I ordered these extras in order to be able to move and protect many pieces of furniture, freezer, refridgerator, etc. 1/8 tank of gas this place is out in the mountain, I think there should have been more gasoline in truck, so people don't have to be a nervous wreck driving to the nearest gas station.COLLEEN B.

The lady I delt with was very nice, but they could not find the keys so i sat waiting for over 35 minutes and then there was damage on the truck that had not been marked and they could not find their X stickers so that they could be marked properly before me leaving with the truck, thus i was concerned as to wheather or not someone at the drop off was going to try and make me pay for it.Like I said they were very nice people but very unorganizedKAREN H.
