Very difficult location to return a truck. Nobody to talk to and no drop off instructions. Didn't realize there was a drop box and drove right past it then had to back all the way out in the truck. Awful!Suzie M.

When I received the uhual truck the windows were cracked and there was sand EVERYWHERE!! The back of the truck took 15 minutes to sweep out from the half of an inch thick sand all in the back. I received the truck with no gas, I drove 4 miles and the light came on.Blake M.

Weird spot for a uhaul dealer, under bridges and homeless camps with dozens of people just sitting and watching me drop off the truck. But the person was nice and easy to communicate with.Eleanor C.
I felt like I was on any number of horror film movie sets with warehouses, train tracks, lack of signage, and (thankfully) one other soul to share it with as they were picking up a truck. My wife was coming to pick me up and I walked briskly up the street so that she and my 1.5 year old son wouldn't have to be down in that area. Please don't have me go there again.JONATHAN G.
The rental agreement says to call when dropped off but none picked up and the place was closed, even though it says it was within business hours.FREDY C.
This SHOULD NOT BE A U-HAUL location!!!!! First, it's in a beat up industrial section that looks and feels dangerous. I swear it's a car chop shop. Toro is mixed in with other shady looking car related businesses and you can't even find the door. We got out and asked and the one guy we talked to knew nothing about a U-Haul dealer. On the way out we saw an old beat up U-Haul banner and called the number. Some guy answered but didn't identify himself or that he was with U-Haul so I hung up. He called back and asked us if we were renting the truck. Said yes and then we picked it up. I commented on his operation but he clearly didn't care. If I didn't need the truck so badly, I'd have walked away. Absolutely terrible. Send someone out to look at this location. It's a disgrace and an incredibly poor representation of your brand. You have a great dealer nearby in Indio. Why let this guy sully your reputation when a top quality dealer is so close. I was so angered and annoyed by this that I almost called corporate. Finding the location to pick up the truck was very confusing, and we could have used some better instruction. Also I had changed the reservation to 3 pm pickup but this did not register with the pickup location as they thought I was still coming at 11. Other than that I liked that the person organizing pickup was texting me and it was sorted.MICHAEL W.

had i not had gps and had the pick up location not texted me, i would have found it. location looked like a junk yard and nobody was at location. had to drop trailer off in an alley and hope no one stole itGARY F.

The site looked abandoned and there was nobody there to help...only locked gates with signs saying "beware of dog". There was a lock box in which to deposit keys, along with sign that indicated that to call a number first before depositing the key. When I called that number, nobody answered so I left a voice mail message and drove away unsure if anyone would process my returned truck. To their credit, they did call me a couple of hours later to confirm receipt of the unit, and they processed a full digital receipt soon thereafter, confirming that no additional charges had been rendered.Brent R.
In spite of advertising they were open on Sunday and in spite of confirming the drop off by phone in the morning, no one was there. We tailgated into the yard behind someone using the adjacent storage facility, completed the drop off procedure on our phone, but then learned there was no way out of the yard for pedestrians. After a harrowing and dangerous 'escape' over the gate, thankfully aided by members of the local homeless community, we were finally sent the gate code after we arrived at the airport for our flight. That code should have been provided that morning when I confirmed the time of the vehicle return. Poorly run operation from start to finish.Donna Lipsky L.

Location needs tidying up, truck was ready right on time though, also not 100 percent full on gas. Fortunate to rent a one way truck to Washington out of California at the eleventh hour. This location was difficult to find & entry blocked by a locked gate with a keypad for an unknown code. The area is trashy with little room to park vehicles. No U-Haul personnel were present when we arrived. Other workers at the site had to call the owner in.Ronald A.
It was advertised that the truck is 19.95 and I was charged 39.95. No one will return my calls. The man helping me get the uhaul on site continously made suggestive inappropriate comments to me. Even texting me "lol ur cute". Very inappropriate to over charge a customer and never return their calls especially when I had to deal with this harassment while I had the truck.Kalyn B.

Hard to get in. Locked gate, no response when called. I had to call uhaul to have them get a hold of someone to unlock. The guy was friendly but it's just an offload parking lot with no office or facility for customers.Ensar G.
