My daughter and I with my two little granddaughters came by train from CA to TX. I booked online for a truck including a dolly at a closer location to my daughter’s new place. U-Haul contacts me to let me know my reservation was moved due to storage facility being closed. When I picked up at the new location not only did I have to wait to be served until after every vape customer was cared for but they did not have any dolly there. They offered my TWO FREE moving blankets (not going to really help with a fridge) and after waiting another almost 30 minutes on vape customer service for the gentleman to double check the other trucks for a left dolly, I just took my truck and left. My grandkids and daughter were waiting in the car this whole time. The truck was great but the customer service and reservation mess was not. Especially being in a new state, all females on our own and not being considered. I replaced the gas (even inadvertently put a smidge more than it came with) and returned it on time WITH the moving blankets. I’m praying the $366.80 I was “authorized” (as my receipt says after mileage I’m only being charged $120.71will be reimbursed soon as we NEED it and bank transaction still shows it on hold. The young lady checking me in was great! Understanding and helped. I cannot say the same for my pickup experience. If I was rating the vape shop….they have EXCELLENT customer service. If it’s the U-Haul…. Not so much. Very dissatisfied.

This is the second time that we have booked at a specific location and ended up having to drive to a completely different location to get the truck we booked for. This is a very big inconvenience as we have to waste time and gas and we also end up having to pay extra miles because the locations we are sent to are a few miles farther then we originally anticipated.
ABRAHAM GPlacing a U-HAUL at a vape store is an interesting choice. I got what I needed without issues though.
