In booking the truck, I asked for 15’ , was told as well as sent confirmation email. 2 -3 days before move date I was told only 20’ truck available. I should not have been charged extra for the size difference. I kept getting told to drop truck at “ The Hub Baileyville Me”. I called prior to move and at pick up to question “ drop off site”. Being familiar with Baileyville I knew there was NO u haul hub there. Each person I spoke with insisted Baileyville. Evening of move… I again called U-Haul as to drop off site. FINALLY I spoke with a woman named Ashley who was willing to hear me out and explain what I know about a u haul drop site in my area!! NO BAILEYVILLE @ 25 miles away but there IS U-HAUL CALAIS ME @ 5 miles away with a drop off key box!! Ashley advised me to take it to WHERE I KNOW AND ACCORDING TO INFORMATION POSTED ON THE DROP SITE WEBSITE THEY WOULD BE OPEN @ 9 for 10 a.m. drop off. I arrived at THE HUB RIVER RD. CALAIS MAINE & dropped truck and key THE BUSINESS WAS NOT OPEN…I ONCE AGAIN CALL U-HAUL ( 5-6 phone calls just to get the truck dropped 😡) I believe the woman I spoke with was named Jessica, bless her for being so patient with my VERY FRUSTRATED TONE AND MY STATEMENT OF “ I’m dropping the truck & key AND NEXT TIME I’LL GO RYDER!!! I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW A BUSINESS THAT HAS BEEN ACTIVE FOR DECADES CAN NOT KNOW THEIR DROP SITES AND CAUSE A CUSTOMER ALREADY UNDER STRESS OF MOVING MORE STRESS!! Do better U-Haul 🙄

Michael MThe attendant was polite and mostly efficient but he had trouble with the U-Haul app and he had not cleaned the interior of the truck. It showed cigarette ashes in the door pockets and floor. He admitted this when I drew his attention to the ashes. U-Haul should emphasize the need for cleanliness.

Brian BI dropped the unit pff a day early. Call the number as indicated on my contract. Person who answered said i could just drop the trailer and they would check it in. The next day (the due date) I got emails and texts telling me to contact U-Hual about my overdue rental. I called back the number on the contracting the person said they would get the unit checked in and that they thought they checked it in the day before.

Paul PScheduled a 3pm pick up and the individual did not show up until 3:35. The office was a disaster. The lady who checked me out was stating she was having computer troubles and then entered the information on her phone. Both which save and pre populate individuals personal information. In addition, the individual added on insurance which we didnt have on our reservation for an additional charge and then said nothing that we can do you have to call uhaul directly. It was overall not a professional establishment.
