When I called for a drop off point I asked for the hours. According to 800 number this drop off opened at 9am. I got there and opening hour was listed as 10 am. I had someone follow me that needed to be somewhere at 11am. I wasn't prepared for the self drop off. Good thing my cell was charged.terry I.

Although the location was fine, the check in process was frustrating. We did online check in and it took around 15-20 minutes for â€œapprovalâ€. After waiting about 15 minutes I finally said something on the online chat, and eventually they said they would work to get it approved and it was done very quickly after that. If all information is submitted in advance I don't know why you have to wait at the location for at least 20 minutes to pick up the uhaul. In addition to that, I had already had to drive 20-25 minutes out of my way to get to the location and then 20-25 minutes to get back because uhaul had nothing to offer me closer than that despite submitting my reservation in advance. The website didn't make it clear that the truck may not be available at that location. If it weren't for that one truck, I would have been stuck with no truck at all on the day I planned to move. The representative did offer to give an additional discount when I asked, but then when I picked up the uhaul there was no additional discount given. Very displeased with my overall experience with uhaul even though I had good experiences in the past. Probably won't be my first choice for moving in the future.Gary S.

I just didn't like the fact I booked for Fairmont (Or Morgantown) and I had to pick up all the way in Grafton. This was a much farther ride than i would have had to go otherwise. Staff was pleasant and helpful. I stopped by the Fairmont location to purchase a hitch ball and found 2 auto transports on site. The employee told me only 1 was technically there. I'm not sure why they couldn't have switched something to accommodate. I had booked weeks in advance and stopped by just a few days prior to confirm everything.Andrew B.

I made a reservation for a 6x12 trailer to pick up in Bridgeport Wv. I was on a very tight schedule. I drove 1100 miles to West Virginia and before I even made it there I received a call from Uhaul the day before! telling me I had to pick up the trailer in a different location because someone didn't return the trailer yet. So then I called a Uhaul in Morgantown where I was staying and they said they had a trailer but when I gave them my I made a reservation for a 6x12 trailer to pick up in Bridgeport Wv. I was on a very tight schedule. I drove 1100 miles to West Virginia and ved a week earlier! Then I was told that this trailer in Morgantown was already rented but wasn't updated in the system. I feel like I was getting the run around and or lied to. Either way I had no choice but to rearrange my schedule and drive an hour out of my way before making an 1100 mile drive because a reservation at Uhaul doesn't mean a thing! I will buy a trailer before I give Uhaul my business for anything!Thomas C.

I made my reservation in Morgantown. I was called the day before to pick up truck in Grafton. On top of all of the stress of moving, UHaul made my move that much more stressful. I did not have an extra 3 hours out of my day to drive to Grafton. I recommend not giving Joe Moore's your business. This same scenario had happened to a few of my customers. i have no complaints. Your Had given us a 26' truck for the price of a 20' which was all that we could even begin to afford & u made it possible to get so much more than we could have in the 20'. You also had the truck & car transporter ready for us so that my husband did not have to make an extra trip. I am really disapointed that for the second time in a row, I was sent far out of my way and requested pick up location to get a truck. Morgantown has 3 U-Haul franchises and none had a 17' truck available? I had to go 60 miles out of my way to pick up a truck and wasted two hours of time I could have been packing. I would never recommend U-Haul to anyone. Sadly, its the only moving company in the area--- thats too bad because customer service is terrible!Emma W.
