The lot was easy to find but the actual location of the storefront was not so easy. Put signage in the lot as to where the storefront is

What a fantastic Experience - first time renting a uhaul and first time in NJ - we estimated to pick up at 5 pm when we left Florida and truly arrived at the NJ branch at 5pm - we kept in contact with NJ store and knowing our pick day was a hoilday we where concerned store might close early after driving 16 hours one way (an not knowing where we where going. Our New Jersey uhaul rep at Bayonne on Broadway was Awersome he told us to just call him and If we where running late he will stay open if I need to . Wow unbelievable - so kind so helpful so cool "such a smooth transaction" and great communications. Upon arriving uhaul rep guided us in and when thur paperwork fast and was hooked up in no time and he did stay longer for us "big thank you" - and too gave us great advice on directions to our final pm destination. What a smooth transaction uhual rep was fantastic and appreciated all of his genuine assistance and attention to details. Best Experience highly recommend Brovo
DAVID FIt’s not a self pick up location. I got blamed for not receiving messages or communication while the night before I double checked everything. Pickup ended up successful but could’ve went better

Edwin RTruck replacement windshield on the truck was not installed properly. There was tape around the top of the windshield and roof of the truck. There was pieces of glass in tray compartment and on the floor of the truck. Windshield started shaking at the speed of 50 miles per hour. I had to stop at the ext 8 on the NJ turnpike to be tow to a location where I had to wait 3-4 hours to be towed to a another Uhaul vendor. My trip was delay and I had to spend the night in a hotel.
DAPHNE BTook to long for the reservation. Everything I had done online had to be redone at the store. Attendant said none of the online info is transferable at the store and he had to enter it on his computer. Make the app work better!

TELISA AEven self pick up was booked online, it was not possible at the location. Tools booked were not available at the location. Pick up was scheduled at 9 but possible 9.45 with waiting outside of the office due to the site rules. We dropped the car same day 3.55pm and it was registered as next day 8.00am. While the car was ok, the rest of experience leaves lots of room for improvement.

TERRY AI had a pretty disappointing experience at this location. From the start the employee at the counter was unfriendly and didn’t even bother with a greeting. The posted hours are also wrong — both on Google and the U-Haul app it says they close at 6, but I was told 5 instead. When I mentioned it, the response was just a shrug, like it didn’t matter. Dropping off the keys wasn’t any better, I was just waved off and told to leave them on the table. Moving is stressful enough without having to deal with rude service. Definitely not the customer experience I expected. Please train your employees to do better.
