The employee was not in office when we need help during business hours. We also wait 20 to 30mins for employee to return no one showed up. Also I don't like the fact that they can't help you in you lose you storage key

U-haul SHOULD also have YouTube videos especially for Trucks: (1) I have had to wait 50 minutes to RETURN A TRUCK because a customer was asking hundred questions initial questions. You want Customers know Ins & OUTS; BUT, IT SHOULD BE MORE STREAMLINED.. FORGET THE APP, Web site pages (also on the APP,). (2) YOUR SECURITY SUCKS !!! !!! 25 out of 482 Storage Units damaged and/or broken into at S. Dairy Ashford branch, Houston TX.. The CAMERAs caught faces, vehicle, and license plate. THERE WAS NOT ENOUGH RESOLUTION (clarity) for them to be useful.What The Hell ?? !! ?? THERE NEEDS TO BE CHOKE POINTS WHERE CAMERA QUALITY IS OF SUFFICIENT RESOLUTION (both a HIGH & LOW resolution system !!!
Anthony ConstanteThis was a horrific experience for me, not necessarily because of the store above but just the overall Uhaul customer service and the way I was treated. I originally had a truck from the Uhaul Dealer at Copy & Postal 2386 S Dairy Ashford Rd, Houston, TX 77077 and upon my arrival at 5pm when my truck was guaranteed ready, the owner told me the truck was there but full of someones stuff and he had no key. He then proceed to yell with me and deal with it, and I had to walk across multiple roads to get to the Uhaul above. At this store, they would not give me a 10' truck either and instead told me I had to get a bigger one and pay more if I wanted one, even though the guaranteed truck wasn't ready, and they told me I needed to deal directly with the guy I ordered from. After numerous back and forths between stores, I ended up just getting the larger truck and having to pay more for a truck I didn't order and wasting two hours. Don't recommend either store - Rude employees who are unhelpful

Karl WalkerThis truck was old and had a bad engine, the check engine light was on during the whole drive, I had some performance issues with the truck, the AC kept going on and off during the drive and I was soaked with sweat and the humidity was terrible, I had trouble breathing. I took photos and called uhaul customer support and they didn't do anything.

Ismail IdiesAssociate was very helpful and accommodating. My one issue that I had with the experience upon returning the truck is that my truck was due back by 5:40p. I called around 5:10p to let them know I would be there no later than 6:00p due to traffic and travel (per my GPS). She made me aware that I would have to pay for another days rental just for an additional 20 minutes. She suggested I keep the truck until the next day since I'm already being charged for it. I was highly upset, because when I got there the next morning, the GM did make me aware that there was a 15 minute Grace Period and she let me know as long as a person calls, they can work with them as long as the time is not excessive. I let her know I did call ahead of time, but the associate was insistent on me paying for an extra day behind a 20 minute delay. She did not offer to adjust the total or reimburse me for the extra day rental even after explaining the situation. This really did not sit right with me.

Reservation number 88968255 However when I arrived to pick the truck up, the lady at the counter told me I would only be able to have the truck for an hour, and told me that she could look for another truck near by for me, or cancel the reservation. This was my only day off work and I had a limited window to move what I needed to move, so I could spend time chasing a truck I already reserved days in advance, at that location, for a set time frame. Second, she did not have the appliance dolly I had rented, and her attitude was generally trash, and you could tell that she did not want to be there, and did not want to do anything to help. That's all I got for my previously booked 3 hour window to move a fridge: 1 hour instead of 3, no dolly, and a bad attitude, and I got it all for the "low" price of almost $100 for the rental, mileage, and fuel. Please have someone reach out to me as I do not believe this reflective of how you want your employees to operate.

However, some customer feedback for you that may help you because it probably means I won’t be using this location again. The door to my unit did not fully open from when I first rented it and I was told by two members of staff that a work order would be in place to fix it. This made moving challenging because we kept having to prop the door up. I came back twice to ask for this to be resolved and it never was. Needless to say I was able to work around it but for the inconvenience it didn’t leave me feeling positive. If it takes two months for a work order to be put it and it doesn't get fixed, it doesn't make me feel I'll be recommending it to another person.
