jesse mI got a truck with 45K miles, but it looked and smelled like brand new.
GUNNAR FThe only good part about my pick-up was working with Melissa. I had no issues picking up my truck. When I came back to pick up my AT was a different story. I came and waited over 15 minutes before anyone came in to take care of the line of customers. I would have understood if it was just one or two people working, but five people were working with only one person working the counter. Jada let me knew that there was going to be people out side to put on my AT. I went out side and waited over 10 minutes before someone could assist me. Four people were working outside. One worker was just sitting down in the shade, and another one walking around with his shirt off (so you wouldn't know he worked there), another one popped up towards the end, and the who assisted me was rude. I followed the guy to the back because I know it could be a little difficult to hook up an AT by yourself with no one to help you, and he asked me if I taught he was going to steal my stuff. Instead of driving the truck back to the front, he told me I had to do it, and if I wasn't as experienced as I was at driving a truck and trailer I definitely would had damage something. This location needs to do better.

DORIS AThe truck, despite having a lot of scratches and a broken side, worked very well and was clean. I would give the service a 0 if I could. The person who helped me was not in uniform and had no desire to help or even talk. It seemed like I was interrupting her day and going to get the truck I had reserved. I had to ask about the details of my reservation several times, because the person who was helping me did not bother to read the details of the reservation. The worst service I have ever had at a Uhual. This is the reason I do not recommend this specific store to a friend. I recommend Uhual but not this store because of the horrible service I received. Everything outside the office was wonderful. The people were attentive and helpful.

JOAO SMake sure the equipment you give people actually works. Make sure that when it doesn't, you do not send them on a wild goose chase to find a location that has equipment replacement. And then really make sure that you do not charge that same customer for the extra time they have the truck caused by your mistakes.
VICTORIA BThey simply rented me a piece of equipment and gave me another one. I returned it on the correct date. They sent me invoices by email. I had to go to a store to prove that I returned it. I lost 3 hours of my day helping to find the error in the different numbering of the equipment versus the number on the invoice. 3 hours of loss, in addition to the inconvenience of daily charges, as if I had stolen the tow dolly equipment. I'm going to buy one just so I don't have to rent it again. In 5 rentals, I'll buy one. Will it be the best solution? I felt humiliated and considered dishonest for a mistake that wasn't mine. I have a camera in my car. This was my evidence, in addition to being at the correct address on my invoice.

SARINA FThey ripped me off . They charged me for gas I didn’t use . They said the tank was actually more full than it really was. Luckily I look pictures of the gas gauge before and after I rented it showing clearly that it had more gas in it when I brought it back than when I picked it up. I told the man who I turned it in to and he said it would be taken care of but it wasn’t.

DAVID MCustomer service is terrible. There is a guy working outside who I assume is deaf, and while I’m glad that he is employed but he might need more customer service training. He was shouting at customers and waving his arms and pointing to let them know where to wait or he would be right back or to go back inside but his instructions were unclear. The check in employee when I returned the truck added an insanely expensive fuel charge even though it matched the level of gas perfectly to when I received the truck and then when I questioned it he became defensive and told me I needed to go inside to fix it. I then had to then wait in line at the desk to dispute it and get the charge removed. The truck itself was clean but you had to put ALL of your weight on the brake in order to start the truck. If I had been a shorter or lighter person I don’t think I would have been able to get it started without help.

NOAH LI had to wait 45 minutes to receive the truck so my time was wasted I literally just went around the corner and the weather was unbelievable so I returned the truck 45 minutes later then my time and was charged a additional $50.00 then what was advised. I went less than the 10 miles and again charged more even after giving the guy extra because we had a bed head board that needed to be trashed when we could have just gotten rid of it ourselves.

I would only recommend this storage for short term. If you need to store for a longer period this storage facility increase the price each year and it can become very expensive.

joan r | First ImpressionsI have had this unit for four years. It is in Florida. I live in Tennessee...I had not been there since I had moved in. About 2 years ago I was called by a manager and told my lock did not meet their standards and they would be changing the lock. I think the person calling me was Nate but I cannot be sure. I have no record of the action. I went to move out of my unit and get the key that I was told was secured in the UHaul office. It was not. Mel was very helpful and told me the lock on my unit was indeed a UHaul lock but she didn't know where the key was. I tried to cut the lock off but could not. Mel contacted her manager. I found him to be extremely un-helpful and told me I would have to call a locksmith to enter the unit (on a Sunday..at MY expense. Basically called me a liar and said if I damaged the door I would be charged. I had flown in, rented a hotel room and a car to retrieve my belongings. I found the manager rude, unempathetic and condescending. The entryway door was broken...causing quite an inconvenience in removing my items. The security gate was broken. There was garbage everywhere and overall looked like little to know upkeep is ever done. I would never recommend this facility to anyone and probably will not recommend UHaul at all because of their management staff. I complained via the website about the manager....and was told to contact...the manager! The very person I had issues with. Really? I expect to be reimbursed for at least 1/2 of the locksmith fee...or $75 including tax. Please let me know where I should send that bill. I don't feel I should be held responsible for the incompetence of the manager and his inability to perform his duties.

We drove 1111 miles and were exhausted, and thankfully Nathaniel made our move in so smooth. As soon as we got there, he greeted us. Then, he walked us through the process of turning in our equipment (we had a trailer and a truck) and setting up our storage unit. Super efficient and we were checked-in in less than 10 minutes. The storage unit itself comes with complimentary dollys, which were not provided at the storage facility in the state we were moving from, and that helped us move our stuff even quicker into the unit. Highly recommend this U-Haul for both your equipment rental and storage needs.

She had a very I don’t care attitude. We had to ask questions in order to get another truck and pay more with no dolly. Nathaniel who I am assuming is a manager was not helpful at all either he was also rude.

Then told me that there were no other available climate control for miles. I settled for an outside unit but wasn't happy with the decision. However, I had to make a decision due to the movers being in route with my belongings. I was and still is extremely upset and inconvenienced.

She didn’t apologize for keeping me waiting. I had to unload my truck and be at a house viewing. My information says 15in truck I wasn’t aware that the storage I reserved was going to be very small. So I asked Melissa if they had anymore storages she said no but the website stated their were two available unite, she said they do that to overbook us, which makes no sense cause for a person like me coming out of state moving with a whole truck full. So I checked another location which stated the same thing they had three available units but when I called customer Service so they can double check cause when I called the location they did not answer their phone when I called, she also seen these units were shown but not available. This was a big inconvenience, this whole experience with Uhaul was. The communication need to be better, I was very upset but kept my cool this whole experience. Now I have to have two locations for my things and I don’t even have a car to be to going back and forth to both these locations.

So impressed with them and with this facility, so clean and so easy to navigate, the climate control quality and condition of the facility is WAY better than my prior public storage unit. MICHAEL P | Overall ExperienceCheck in was extremely annoying due to company policy. Why in the heck do you need 3 different phone numbers and 2 different addresses? That's bordering on invasion of privacy. I only have 1 cell phone, my wife only has 1 cell phone (no business phones or land lines), and frankly, I don't want to give you any information for my friends and family - that's just ridiculous. Access hours listed on the website do NOT match actual hours (we were actually relying on those hours being correct and will likely have to pay for 24 hour access because we were unloading when access hours were up) and not having access to the bigger doors during 24 hour access makes things extremely inconvenient. Without those issues, the move would have been absolutely fantastic. Staff was friendly and helpful, even if I wasn't (I had driven 22 hours in the last 30). Excellent job to both the check-in staff who helped with my auto transport and to the counter staff for putting up with me.
Antonio F | First ImpressionsStaff was excellent, unit had preexisting damage and I was surprised that there was a "quality control tag/inspection tag" on the lock yet the drywall and ceiling damage was not previously noted on my unit meaning if I didn't mention it I would have been liable. The computer system kept shutting down and check in took an hour but gentleman that checked me in was AMAZING, very helpful and professional.
