The truck was repoed with all of my things inside. I had to have it a little longer than expected and each time Wendy called me I extended it. During this time however my credit card on file would not process the payment and I was never informed of the issue concerning the payment. When I asked if I could pay over the phone she said no but after they got the truck to the Baldwin park location they allowed me to pay over the phone. This has caused a very big problem for me as I now will be late moving and starting a new job. This was the shittiest experience with U-Haul EVER!!!

The lady said to drop the truck off in the gate but failed to explain how exactly it worked. Had I known I needed to take pictures then I wouldn’t have just left the keys as directed. The lady said that I didn’t need to be back before close at 5pm - which I could have very well done. This place is really lacking knowledge

Got a truck with an empty tank and was told to return that way. Then was charged extra for it

Location is to small and has little or no parking especially on busy days. The staff are friendly and helpful

It looks tonmevthat they to hire more peole at this store. I made the reservation for a 15’ truck on 12/12/18 to pick up on 12/13/18. It took me almost 50 min to get the truck. I had to way for the person to give me the truck because he was doing somethingelse. Also i forgot my hoodie inside the truck when i returned. I called themm and asked them about and nobody gave an answer. Somebody stole it in matter of minutes

When I dropped off the unit, at the proper site on Whitney Road in Spartanburg SC, an issue with the paperwork was noted. This was December 2nd. I did not have the original paperwork with me. The unit number was registered to another person. When I got home I discovered that the number to the unit on the paperwork was different. I immediately called and left a message for the store to call to get the paperwork taken care of. This was several hours after drop off. No return call. Called the next day and left message again. No return call as of today. As your calls are recorded you can verify this. Today I received a call from a uhaul dealer in Orlando. Person named wendy called to discuss the issue and to make sure I was not charged inappropriately. Gave her the information and she has taken care of the paperwork issue. NOT REAL HAPPY WITH THE ORIGINAL DROP OFF POINT ON WHITNEY ROAD IN SPARTANBURG SC

I was told I cannot drop my vehicle after hours, lady on the phone told me “yup” with an attitude. Had no customer service skills. I called the 1800 number and they explained that I could.

Engine light was on due to tires.

Omega Wilkins whom calls herself a manager should recieve additional training on how to treat customers period! Ms. Wilkins along with another representative whom they call MJ at this location conspired to excessively charge for truck rental after being told specifically not to issue me a truck that would be reserved or promised to another customer. In I returned the truck, she had the audacity to charge and print out an invoice with my review and approval, then when I complaint about her performance, she with out regards to respect and with disrespectful overtone stated "I was having a bad two days" I let her know that I would notify Corporate. Ms. Omega Wilkins Sarcastically replied, "Yes, you do that!" On the other hand, Mr. Terry has to be commended for his EXCELLENT customer service skills, abilities and Knowledge. I have most respect for Mr. Terry. Please give Me. Terry the MERITS he well deserves. Thank you.

The trailer had something that smelled like poop on the back wall and floor. The whole trailer stunk. When we returned it, the wonderful employee who checked us in, apologized and immediately mopped the floor. But a deeper cleaning will be required.

No communication from the front desk to the back end. No one has the slightest bit of customer service training. I kept thinking, I am paying you, the least you could do is acknowledge me. Maybe look up and smile, say hello. Nope. The truck we got was well kept but I asked for a dolly that was not loaded on, not realizing that until we got to our location. But the real clincher was the $.79 a mile surprise. It's false advertising to have a big sign at $19.95 per truck and in very small letters something about mileage. Uhaul sucks. Never again. I could've gone a few block up to Home Depot or Lowe's for the same truck at a third of the cost. UHaul =total rip off.

At the time to return the truck I didn’t have the code to go inside the gate, and I was outside for an hour trying to figure out what to do, and calling the GM number that is at the gate without answer, I had to call customer service for them to call her so she can give us the code to get inside.

We waited outside for someone to check us in, no one came after 15 minutes. My husband went in to find someone and the two women at that counter were painting their nails. One yelled at him to go back outside that he wasn't allowed inside that he needed to wait for someone out there. My husband said he had been waiting and didn't have all day. The woman replied, oh we have a smartass. My husband went back outside a young man showed up, told him gas was at half a tank, the same woman says "oh, we'll have to charge you for that" No one bothered to look at the paperwork or check the record to see that we rented the van with a quarter tank of gas and in fact we were returning it with half a tank, more than necessary. Rude, awful experience. Never again. You should not have people like this representing your company.
