MARISOL RMake the pick up process easier. The last two times that I I have rented a U-Haul truck the amount that I’m told is going to be charged to my card is different than the amount that they are attempting to charge my card. They are attempting to charge more but they tell me a lower amount. It’s extremely frustrating ridiculous and unprofessional.

CLARENCE TI've been using this location as the place for me to rent motorcycle trailers, which is part of my business, passion etc. Each and every time team members have been great. I have recommended using this location on my Facebook accounts, which I am a member of several motorcycle groups for us older folks here in Columbus, OH, and have written articles about the pros and cons of different trailers for towing small or larger bikes. So YES, I have recommended this location several times. Each team member needs to realize that they impact others in a positive way. All appreciated.

Zachary VThere was some confusion when I got the truck. After finishing my reservation the lady instructed us to wait and someone will pull our truck up. They did pull the truck but it was blocked from our view and no one came and let us know it was there for us, so we waited 10 mins longer than needed when you’re crew was well prepared. Also, they mopped the truck bed and it was WET and the first piece of furniture we moved into the truck I slipped and bruised the back of my leg. Please do not give people wet truck beds knowing they are going in and out of them. Last - I did not pay for a dolly or pads, but those pieces were in the truck. Really annoying bc the dolly killed some of my truck space but I didn’t want to unhook it because I figured I’d get charged.

ALHAJI SFirst I went to U-Haul Moving & Storage 1314 E 5th Ave, Columbus, OH 43219 and was not satisfied. The installation was not what I expected. I needed a 7 blade connection. He did not connect the power wire (black or red) to the power blade on the 7 blade connector as I requested several times. He insisted that the socket was connected properly. I had to pay him $70 I didn’t think it was still working correctly. I took the tow vehicle to U-Haul on Morse Road who charged me another $138 to fix it. The Morse road U-Haul did a good job and fix the problem expeditiously. Although I was completely satisfied with their work, I’m still out $70 from my previous experience.

Dale WThe guy that took the truck was rushing me because he needed to get the truck right back out. So with that being said he was not about to clean the truck. With Covid and everything going around I would expect every truck to be cleaned before going back out. He looked in the back, checked the gas and the truck went right back out. No I would not recommend this location and after seeing that I’m sure the Trotwood location didn’t clean it either!!
Shara WI just truly felt like the time for me to store something as a senior citizen $94 is too much a month for a senior citizen to have to pay for a storage unit for anything you ought to have a senior citizens discount rate I think that's just ridiculous and crazy upset to how much it costs period it's too expensive I will personally never use you all again unless I absolutely have to if I have no other way to do anything they're not the only way

Half the time the security box was down and couldn't get into my storage so I moved to Public storage paying $151 A month for A 10x20 instead or the $178 A month I was being charged for A 10x10 At Uhaul. Tried to rent a truck to move had a reservation for Aweek then come in to be told I was refused with no reason good thing I owned A pickup to move my stuff would not recommend again

Inflexibility with changing due dates. Will adamantly recommend against using if ever asked, or maybe even if not asked. Most but not all employees I interacted with had incredibly bad attitudes. Would take all my worldly possessions to the dump before I would ever use again.

Everything was I don’t know, No, you have to talk to management when she’s here. It was a terrible experience. I will not recommend this location. Either one or two employees with long lines. I wanted yo be in and out. The only good thing is the online access so you don’t have to deal with them.

Calling into the office, I was often placed on hold for an extended time. Trying to move out was a nightmare as my account was not found and I couldn't do it on line. I had to call in, placed on hold and hung up. Called four times and was handled through the call center. My husband went to facility to talk to them and was told I was charged because I was renting a lock. Even if that were true, which it is not, I was charged 174.85 for my own lock that I brought back from NM. I DO SEE, IN RETROSPECT WHERE IT APPEARS THEY TRIED TO TAKE THE STICKER FROM THE PREVIOUS STORAGE OFF. THIS IS HOW I IDENTIFIED MY UNIT BY THE WAY. I WOULD NEVER USE THEIR STORAGE FACILITIES AGAIN.

After many hours of calls and an e-mail confirmation of a storage unit reserved, somehow it was lost with no sign of it ever being made. Left me with a smaller unit at an inconvenient location. Horrible customer experience.

RUDY B | First ImpressionsThe facilities were in great condition, HOWEVER, I made a reservation a week in advance for a truck and storage unit for my mothers belongings, however when I got there and provided a reservation number the clerk told me she didn’t show that and not sure why and how someone scheduled that unit because she can’t find it! My mother has medical issues and this situation put me and her in a bad position. The clerk found a smaller unit (saying it was their only unit left) which put us in a different position as we couldn’t store ALL of mom’s belongings! I didn’t have options as the movers were on the way so I had to accept and unfortunately, mom lost a couple of items because of this UHAUL SNAFU! I’m extremely disappointed and have lost money on items mom had to give away

My problems were with the fact that there were no instructions on-line to help me access the compound.
