Trailer was great but no running lights and lights would flicker all around when driving. I had a 3 hour hi way trip in the dark.

There was only 1 person on the desk for servicing customers. I had an 8:30 AM reservation and arrived at 8:25. I was not able to get my paper work and be assigned a trailer until 8:40 then left the lot at 8:50. My reservation was completely done online and this transaction should have been much faster as I was then late for my appointment. The return of equipment also took 10 minutes and I waited in line again, sent outside to see the yard attendant who I couldn't find, came back inside, they said they paged the attendant. I had already parked and unhooked the trailer and had to get to another appointment. In all I was 25 minutes waiting to begin my day and lost 15 minutes on my return, this took 40 minutes of my time out of the 4 hours of rental. I am not happy with this

The truck that was given to me as a rental sounded like the engine was about to blow. Also when making sharp turns the left front spring sounded like it was going to pop. Definitely needs attention. Staff at this location is great 👍🏽

I definitely would not recommend the U-Haul location at 111 Court St, Oshawa. I picked up the truck on September 2, 2026 at around 10:00 AM and returned it the same day at approximately 6:30 PM. Despite returning it the same day, I was charged for an additional day on September 3. I was also charged a cleaning fee even though the truck was returned clean. I’m very disappointed with these extra charges and the overall experience. I would strongly recommend checking your receipt carefully if you rent from this location.

Attend to the client better. Nobody available to get truck initially as they were filling propane tanks. I’m sorry but I’m spending $2,400 renting a truck, I think this is more important than filling someone’s tank so they can BBQ.

They never have enough employees to handle customers. I waited almost two hours to pick up supplies and finally went somewhere else. It only took 30 minutes to check in - but that is still a lot of time. Again, waiting for someone to take care of my registration.

On a Sunday night it was quite chaotic in the return lot. Appeared truck and van renters were parking wherever their hearts desire. I was able to get to the trailer area but it wasn’t easy. I believe this could have been related to back-to-school move-in day rentals. If true a parking attendant to support the returns may have helped post 5pm close.

The vehicle was not ready when I arrived at the pick-up time as per my reservation. The vehicle was still with another customer. I would have appreciated a notification from U-Haul to tell me that my pick-up was going to be delayed by at least 30 minutes. Instead, I stood in line for 15 minutes (the location was very busy and the few employees on site were helping other customers) only to be told that my vehicle wasn't even on the premises. 2nd point: I think the advertising of prices (for example $29.95 per day) is highly mis-leading because the customer also gets charged per KM. In my case, I drove less than 50 KM and the distance charge is about $49.00. Plus the fuel charge ($20.00, seems a lot for a 50 KM drive) and I opted for the CDW coverage. Altogether the rental cost me $137.00 for just over 3 hours of usage. I think this is poor value. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because I think the employees at this location are trying their best to provide good service but they are not supported by the company's ways of doing business. I'm glad that I don't need to rent from U-Haul very often.

I picked up on a month end Saturday at 8:45 am , I was pleasantly surprised that there was no line ups. The two ladies that helped me with the rental and my trailer hookup were very professional and friendly and knowledgeable . They took the time to explain everything and made my experience smooth . The trailer was clean and well maintained. The new ramp door on the AV trailer is awesome . Great job U haul .

I’m very disappointed that my U-Haul pickup location was changed at the last moment to a location approximately 10 km farther than my original pickup point. This resulted in roughly 20 km of additional driving that was completely outside of my control. I would appreciate a credit/refund for the extra mileage caused by this last-minute location change. I hope U-Haul can resolve this fairly.

I regularly rent trailers and trucks for my business. This U-Haul location is conveniently located with quick access to major highways. A special recognition and acknowledgment of the excellent service and support provided by Shivam D. I’ve had multiple interactions with her and every time she’s efficient, friendly and professional getting me on my way quickly. For management or corporate office: I appreciate that you offer add-on items, but please remove the sticky pads to catch mice and rats, there are other humane method's available which you also have.

Overall experience was great! The only issue is the wait to get to the front desk. I have been to this location twice. First time it took me about 50 min to get to the desk. The second time which was less busy it took me 15 min. The staff are very good. Suggested using the mobile pickup option. I am open to it but would be nice to have a YouTube video showing the process so it can address some of the unknowns which is the reason I trust the front desk and the people who serve.

I lost my phone during the move and did not realize it was in the truck behind the seats, I did not realize it was in there until I could get to a computer. The team were very helpful in finding it for me and keeping it safe for me to pick up. I am very grateful for the good service. Because I had lost my phone it was a bit difficult to return the truck after hours with the App, it crashed a couple of times but it worked eventually using a friend's phone. Overall, I'm very happy with the service.

The gentleman on duty on the Saturday morning that I came in to pick up my rental was very friendly, efficient, helpful, and knowledgeable. He took the time to load the cargo van with the equipment I had rented and the packing boxes I had purchased. I highly recommend this U-Haul location. The "walk around" link provided to evaluate the condition of the rental unit did not work as expected. The ability to add the 4 sides photos was unsuccessful. I had to take pictures on my phone and store them. I did take pictures of the rental.upon my return as it was after business hours. This would also be an opportunity to take and file more pictures. In the event there was damage incurred by another renter to my rental after I had returned it I would have proof of the condition when the rental.was returned. The trailer was in good condition with the exception of the ability to hold open the door. The mechanism to hold the opened door mounted on the wheel hub was not aligned.

The staff, particularly the manager, at this location were so helpful and really worked to make sure that I had a good experience. The manager went above and beyond to help me with a difficult move out (difficulty was not related to this location) and always communicated clearly and kindly with me. I will absolutely return to this location for storage and truck rental in the future!

I had a problem twice I went to my unit and the air temperature was extremely hot. The heating system was right beside my unit which makes it difficult for me to do what I need to do. I had to step away more than once to cool by body down and then go back to continue. I reported it only to the person that was working at that time. The next time I went back maybe 2 days after, the heating system was still working over the top. It was not a normal heat, it was extreme. I don't know how long before this problem had been running. This was my only experience. Things happen everywhere at times and has to happen at some point, however I wouldn't let this situation prevent me from recommending U-Haul to a friend.

My experience with U-Haul Storage was terrible. There was a clear disconnect between the accounting department and the front office staff. The manager, I believe her name is Glory, was very helpful, but the rest of the staff were not. One of the male employees told me he had to leave and that I should come back the next day—granted, it was 7:30 p.m., but his tone was unnecessarily rude. To make matters worse, I was bombarded with calls, texts, and emails claiming I hadn’t made a payment, even though I had already explained that the payment was mistakenly applied to the wrong unit. I had two storage units—one fully paid up—but I was locked out of both. My experience with the U-haul truck rental has been excellent but I will not be recommending U-Haul storage to anyone.

It was a busy Saturday morning, yet staff were available and helpful! As I was moving out of my storage unit, they were showing it to another prospective client who agreed on the spot to take it (unit 141, a prime ground floor space). The representative said they would check me out of the unit, there was no further action required from me. I followed up for a confirmation when I returned my rental truck, but was told there is no print/email that they can provide, and assured me that I had been checked out and no further payments would be processed. I would certainly appreciate a prorated refund on my rent paid: payment was on the 12th of each month and you rented the unit to someone on the 24th. From the consumer point of view it looks like double dipping on rental fees.

Poor customer service. Harassing emails and phone calls every month. They knew my situation personally, and still didn’t understand. My move out was awful. Apparently my locker was the only locker they had on the ground level. So there was 4 people who were smoking marijuana in the parking lot stood outside and watched us load. They Kept getting in the way. Annoying and uncalled for. I was paid up for the locker until the 21st and would not be given a rebate for the time paid. Meanwhile there are these people standing there just itching for me to get out. Worst experience with U-Haul. This location should be reported to head office. On a side note: No I did not contact them. I’ve had enough failed conversations with this facility.

Again, the staff was always helpful and attentive. I even forgot to take pictures of the empty unit and a staff member said that she would do that for me. I forgot to put in the symbol before the code numbers and after the code was input the symbol # then The only challenge was when calling the location no one answered the phone. I had to chat online letting a representative know that I need to speak with a live person right away. It did happen because as noted above..I forgot to take pictures of the empty unit. Other than that the kind mannerism and professional service were always displayed. Thank you for, the storage service right from the start to ending of the contract.

UHaul vehicles blocking all the customer parking areas, no place to park. Bay door was not accessible in the evening early morning. Reservations not being fulfilled, hutch installs cancelled with no notice are just a few of the issues. GM of this location does not care about good customer service

I've had my storage unit there for over 20 yrs. There was water leaking from the roof at one point, so my storage contents were moved with help of 2 UHaul employees. Always clean and well lit. Desk employees really friendly and young men outside knowledgeable and friendly. Just moved and used UHAUL 20' truck. No problems at all. The 3 seats were comfortable. I would recommend UHAUL to my family and friends. Thank you.

My credit card was charged for an entire extra month for two storage units, despite having moved out. I am now having to spend hours going back and forth with head office by phone, email and chat to get my refund. This location *never* picks up their phone, the call always bounces to the main customer service line. Moving in was smooth, moving out has been an absolute pain. Would not recommend.

I have no complaints about the cleanliness or customer service at UHaul Royal Windsor Storage or staff. A recommendation is for a Kiosk where you are able to check in UHaul vans and/or trucks by scanning and placing into drop box.

It took at least 4 long phone calls to set up online billing. I kept getting charged late fees when I had previously set up auto pay over the phone. Unbelievably frustrating and a waste of time.
