Yesterday, after I rent the truck I went to Chek inside and I started cleaning the steering wheel and they were very duty, so I went inside the store and asked someone who speak Spanish and told him that the steering wheel was dury and I asked him if someone could clean it, and he said "No we don't do that because people get it with oil and get them duty so we don't clean it" So I had to leave like that because the only rent me the truck for afew hours because they didn't other truck available. So I got the truck around 3:46 p.m and then they sent me to check the truck and I took a video and picture of the steering wheel very dirty and all the seats.

When I return the truck, the lady that helped me was very rude and nasty nasty attitude with me overcharged me for a lot of things. She was upset because I went over her head and was able to keep the truck another day. She added the demand me to return it Wednesday by 10 AM. I'll be calling tomorrow with My Sister on the phone and I will be calling my bank.

The original date was pushed back a week because "the forklift driver was out", it would have been helpful to find out earlier than when we went to pick it up and how do you only have one person qualified to drive a forklift? The week delay was only inconvenient as we had control of the property, but this could have been a real problem. I was disappointed in the California side of this move. The movers had to be gathered twice, blocking off TWO DAYS for the move, rather than the few hours it should have taken. My husband was frustrated by the extra week of caring for my elderly cousin until the furniture came. The Wichita folks were fantastic. I was able to pick up the box and get on the road moments after my reserved time.

Before I choose a public storage due by Contruction on the Fullerton rd and not to easy access to you please and the poor attention from the personnel , high increase of the rate over 30 per cent, lack of maintenance on the elevators, I decided to return to U HAUL

Truck was dropped off on a holiday using self drop-off. Signage could be improved for self drop-off. I used the app to submit pictures and answer a few questions. Fairly easy and simple. There was actually an attendant that offered to take the key so I'm not sure if there was a safe box somewhere to drop it off.

I reserved a truck the night before and when I came into office the lady that checked me out said I needed a credit card to rent. I informed her this was not mentioned when I reserved vehicle and she said it was at her discretion. Why was this? Because of how we looked? She said because trucks have been stolen in the past, insinuating that we looked like we would steal the truck? Why? Terrible prejudice.

Great Service and a Memorable Experience I had a fantastic experience thanks to the amazing sales lady who helped us. She was not only professional and helpful but also incredibly kind and personable. She shared with us a deeply personal story about her best friend whom she had lost, which really showed her genuine and caring nature. On top of that, she was excitedly telling us about becoming a grandma, which added such a warm and joyful touch to our conversation. My friend and I ended up sharing some great laughs with her, and she truly made our day. Her friendly attitude and excellent customer service made the whole process easy and memorable. I was very satisfied with my U-Haul experience with 2 storage units until my move out date 9/24/2024. We hired a U-Haul truck to remove our property and hired the third party movers U-Haul uses. The manager of the location was always professional, courteous and very helpful. I would recommend U-Haul for your storage and moving needs.

A nice hard working gentleman assisted my sister and I. I can’t say that about the other employees there…anyway, he helped me return a U-haul rental truck and then he guided my sister on how the storage process works. I did not get his name but I returned the truck around 2p, he wore a blue cap, a face mask, slim built and I believe he was Hispanic Please promote him!

Vickie was friendly. Efficient and knowledgeable. She took her time to explain the process to me as I have never rented a facility before. This facility is very clean and conveniently located. The staff Miguel was very helpful with my rental, I had a check engine light on and he assured me that he would take care of the vehicle. I was in and out of there in an off. I would recommend this facility on Valley Biew to everyone. It’s a one stop shop with propane, storage, storage boxes, trucks, vans, and a lot more. They even sell retired equipment here. Thank you !!!

1. Almost without exception, every time I attempted to reach one of the local staff members, my call would be automatically transferred to the national phone bank. VERY frustrating. 2. Rent checks mailed to the facility would either be misplaced or not deposited in a timely manner which resulted in attempted late fees being assessed. 3. Rent increases occurred every six months with an average monthly increase of +10%. 4. I have been a loyal "renter" since 2003 and ALWAYS paid my monthly rent ON TIME. There has been absolutely no reciprocating recognition or expressed appreciation for this loyalty on behalf of the local team and especially from Mr. Robert Kelley/Regional Manager. 5. U-Haul Storage should become more mindful of competitors increasing their presence in the SoCal region. Our decision to terminate our rental agreement and to vacate the premises was the direct result of more favorable rates and a genuine interest in securing us on a long term basis. U-Haul clearly falls short of this business model.

Storage is located near home, it’s conveniently located. The Staff is semi-friendly, some are kind and others have an attitude (but still helpful). The facility is clean, i did find a baby roach and spiders in some of my belongings after moving the items out. (Nothing to fuss about) Overall, i would recommend this location.

I thought I was gonna get the free month storage if I were to get the truck and drive it back to the same location instead of a one way. I would like to get a respond back from the corporate if this can be disputed and resolved. From wrong information!

Staff was super friendly and I loved putting my stuff that it’s valuable to ME in your hands HOWEVER it kept increasing the rate until I was unable to keep my unit soooo I found a MUCH cheaper , newer and affordable unit close to my house in West Covina. Moving into the storage was chaotic. The storage did not have the unit that are reserved. They said they never have my reservations which I showed them. So I had to use a unit there and that was too little and go to your Covina storage unit and use a different one. The staff Gilbert when I was moving out was very helpful. Thank you

The manager that worked at Uhaul Sunday morning in City of Industry off of Valley, was phenomenal, in a nutshell. His quickness in finding solutions, to his approachability and kindness, left me and my nephews smiling. Thank you and he for such a good experience. The staff was so helpful! Everyone greeted you and ask if they could assist you! The floors was clean and the front was waxed! Cleaning staff assist with directing you the right way! Most of all when I was checking in for the storage most of the information was wrong from previous facility. The manager went through and made all the corrections! I was so impressed with her knowledge and patience with me! All the staff was awesome! This is the first time I’ve had this experience with all the staff at I haul.

Horrible experience! I let that unit go a year ago due to being homeless!! they said they understood and my things would be auctioned off. NEVER HEARD FROM THEM AGAIN. A WHOLE YEAR LATER, SURPRISE!! THEY START REACHING OUT TO ME OUT OF NO WHERE SAYING I STILL HAD THE STORAGE AND NOW MY AMOUNT DUE WAS WAY HIGHER, ALL BECAUSE THEY COULDN'T AUCTION IT. NOT LETTING ANYONE I KNOW RENT FROM THEM. I walked in with a reservation # for my storage unit. I presented to Kevin who was working the front desk & he said my reservation was invalid & they were fully booked. He completely denied to provide me customer service. I then called customer service where they assured me they had numerous storage units available & were sure of Kevin being unprofessional. I tried once again with Kevin & he again denied to attend me & recommended me going next door with a competitor business. That’s when Norman stepped in to help me & immediately rented me out a storage unit exactly what i was looking for. Thank you Norman! I highly recommend his service to anyone, Kevin not so likely due to his laziness & lack of customer service!

Unfortunately, I left very disappointed. Due to the pandemic I was forced to move my stuff out because I could no longer afford the bill. Closing out at the end of the month per my contract and always following rules I was forced with out sympathy and consideration to pay $5 for a key card I no longer had. The manager threatened to leave my account open until I came back with the $5 and told me “you have 6 days before you get charged a full months rent” (I didn’t have money because I was unemployed and barely surviving. A little compassion goes along way and I’m almost certain your company wouldn’t have went belly up by waiving the fee. God have mercy on this world. It’s a shame what we have become to each other .

On 2 separate occasions I felt endangered while in my storage …. I think there are people living in their storages . Transients can walk in from off the street the doors are not secure with entrance authorization.

I reserved a unit so I could change to a larger unit from 1466 to 1612. When I arrived everyone was friendly and helpful but the new unit I had paid for was still occupied. I was told there was a delay in the previous occupant moving out and asked the staff to contact me when the unit was available. No one called to notify me but instead I received a call that I had left my existing unit unlocked at this time I asked about the new unit and was told it was empty. I'm very disappointed in the service I received especially since I've been a long time customer.

Storage size of units not accurate. Should haVe said approx size. Misleading. I wouldn't have expected this from uhaul. Also was not allowed to actually physically view the space to be rented until I rented it. Felt that they were trying to pressure me and hide something. Explanation was that prospective renters might move in before signing agreement. I asked for them to have an employee open unit so I could view it due to advertised space size discrepancy. Was told no way that would happen so I signed agreement and was escorted to space and it was already unlocked. If I wasn't under some personal time restraints I would have walked out Certainly not what I expected from uhaul after my multiple year dealings with your company. Really gave me a bad feeling.i also got a couple of other surprises as well both when i went to rent a van and to rent the storage space that I found very aggravating If you want to talk to me about those I will discuss them over the phone. I'm old with a bad back and arthritis. The staff found me a storage unit close to the entrance on the first floor. Now that's going the extra mile to help the customer and I greatly appreciate it! This is one of the reasons why I go with U-haul before any other truck rental or storage rental company.

The access hours are 2 additional, which is a welcome bonus, from when I was originally a customer, 20 years ago. I also like the little swap yard in the downstairs lobby area. What a great way to help others with stuff you don’t need, such as bed frames, that others might, plus, it also helps the environment, by upcycling.

20 minutes to process a return for a lock the first time. Not even the manager knew how to do it. Had to come back a second day and wait thirty minutes in line while they handled one person. Then was just ignored. Manager and employee just kept chatting. Have never seen such awful service in my life. Is this because I'm Asian?
